< Psalms 14 >
1 [For the Chief Musician. By David.] The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt. They do abominable works. There is none who does good.
David ƒe ha na hɛnɔ la. Bometsila gblɔna le eƒe dzi me be, “Mawu aɖeke meli o.” Wonye ame tovowo, eye woƒe nuwɔnawo nye ŋunyɔnu; ame ɖeka hɔ̃ɔ hã mele wo dome si wɔa nu nyui o.
2 The LORD looks down from heaven on the descendants of Adam, to see if there are any who are wise, who seek after God.
Yehowa bi kɔ kpɔ amegbetɔviwo ɖa tso dziƒo, be wòakpɔe ɖa be nugɔmesela aɖe le wo dome, eye wòdia Mawu vevie mahã?
3 They have all turned away. They have together become corrupt. There is no one who does good, no, not one.
Wo katã wodze ɖe aga, wo katã tim wogblẽ; ame aɖeke meli si wɔa nu nyui o, ɖeka pɛ gɔ̃ hã meli o.
4 Have all evildoers no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread? They do not call on the LORD.
Ɖe nu tovo wɔlawo, ame siwo ɖua nye amewo abe abolo ene, eye womeyɔa Yehowa o la manya esia oa?
5 There they are utterly terrified, for God is in the generation of the righteous.
Ŋɔdzi lé wo ale gbegbe, elabena Mawu le ame dzɔdzɔewo ƒe hame.
6 You would frustrate the plans of the lowly, but the LORD is his refuge.
Mi nu tovo wɔlawo, miegblẽ ame dahewo ƒe ɖoɖowo me, gake Yehowae nye woƒe sitsoƒe.
7 Oh that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion. When the LORD restores the fortunes of his people, may Jacob rejoice, may Israel be glad.
O! Xɔname ado tso Zion na Israel. Ne Yehowa gaɖo eƒe amewo ƒe nunyonamewo te la, na Yakob natso aseye, eye Israel nakpɔ dzidzɔ!
