Matthew 23
1 Then Jesus spoke to the crowds and to his disciples,
੧ਤਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ,
2 saying, "Upon the seat of Moses the Pharisees and scribes sit.
੨ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਰੀਸੀ ਮੂਸਾ ਦੀ ਗੱਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਹਨ।
3 All which they will say unto you, observe and do; but their works do not do, because they say, and do not do.
੩ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕਹਿਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੰਨ ਲੈਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਕੰਮ ਨਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਸੋ ਉਹ ਕਰਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ।
4 For they bind heavy and hard to bear burdens, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not lift a finger to help them.
੪ਉਹ ਭਾਰੇ ਬੋਝ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਚੁੱਕਣਾ ਔਖਾ ਹੈ, ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦਿਆਂ ਮੋਢਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਆਪ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਂਗਲ ਨਾਲ ਖਿਸਕਾਉਣਾ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ।
5 But all their works they do to be seen by others. They make their tefillin broad and enlarge the fringe of their garments,
੫ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਭ ਕੰਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਖਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੋਥੀਆਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਥੈਲੇ ਚੌੜੇ ਕਰਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਝਾਲਰਾਂ ਵਧਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
6 and love the place of honor at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues,
੬ਅਤੇ ਦਾਵਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਖ਼ਾਸ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਗਲੀਆਂ ਕੁਰਸੀਆਂ।
7 the grteetings in the marketplaces, and to be called 'Rabbi' by people.
੭ਅਤੇ ਬਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਲਾਮ ਲੈਣ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਅਖਵਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਭੁੱਖੇ ਹਨ।
8 But you are not to be called 'Rabbi,' for one is your Teacher, and all of you are brothers.
੮ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾ ਅਖਵਾਓ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਇੱਕੋ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਾਈ ਹੋ।
9 Call no man on the earth your father, for one is your Father, he who is in heaven.
੯ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਨਾ ਆਖੋ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਇੱਕੋ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ।
10 Neither be called masters, for one is your master, the Messiah.
੧੦ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਾਲਕ ਅਖਵਾਓ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਇੱਕੋ ਹੈ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਮਸੀਹ।
11 But he who is greatest among you will be your servant.
੧੧ਪਰ ਉਹ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਸੇਵਾਦਾਰ ਹੋਵੇ।
12 Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.
੧੨ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਨੀਵਾਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਨੀਵਾਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਉੱਚਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
13 "But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites. For you devour the houses of widows, and for show make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation.
੧੩ਪਰ ਹੇ ਕਪਟੀ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕੋ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਰੀਸੀਓ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਾਏ! ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਵਰਗ ਰਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਬੰਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਆਪ ਵੜਦੇ ਨਾ ਵੜਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੜਨ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋ।
14 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites. For you shut up the kingdom of heaven in front of people; for you do not enter in yourselves, neither do you allow those who are entering in to enter.
੧੪ਕਪਟੀ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕੋ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਰੀਸੀਓ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਾਏ! ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵਿਖਾਵੇ ਲਈ ਲੰਮੀਆਂ-ਲੰਮੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ, ਪਰ ਵਿਧਵਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਲੁੱਟ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ।
15 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites. For you travel around by sea and land to make one proselyte; and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much of a son of hell as yourselves. (Geenna g1067)
੧੫ਹੇ ਕਪਟੀ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕੋ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਰੀਸੀਓ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਾਏ! ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੰਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਲਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਜਲ-ਥਲ ਗਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੰਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਦੁਗਣਾ ਨਰਕ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ। (Geenna g1067)
16 "Woe to you, you blind guides, who say, 'Whoever swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is obligated.'
੧੬ਹੇ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਆਗੂਓ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਾਏ! ਜਿਹੜੇ ਆਖਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਹੈਕਲ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਕੁਝ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਰ ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਹੈਕਲ ਦੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਪਵੇਗੀ।
17 You blind fools. For which is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctified the gold?
੧੭ਹੇ ਮੂਰਖੋ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਨ੍ਹਿਓ ਕਿਹੜਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੈ ਸੋਨਾ ਜਾਂ ਹੈਕਲ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ?
18 'Whoever swears by the altar, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gift that is on it, he is obligated?'
੧੮ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਆਖਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਕੁਝ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ, ਪਰ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਉਸ ਭੇਟ ਦੀ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੈ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਪਵੇਗੀ।
19 You blind people. For which is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifies the gift?
੧੯ਹੇ ਅੰਨ੍ਹਿਓ ਕਿਹੜੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਹੈ ਭੇਟ ਜਾਂ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ, ਜਿਹੜੀ ਭੇਟ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ?
20 He therefore who swears by the altar, swears by it, and by everything on it.
੨੦ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
21 He who swears by the temple, swears by it, and by him who dwells in it.
੨੧ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਹੈਕਲ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
22 He who swears by heaven, swears by the throne of God, and by him who sits on it.
੨੨ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਸਵਰਗ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸਿੰਘਾਸਣ ਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਉੱਪਰ ਬੈਠਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
23 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites. For you tithe mint, dill, and cumin, and have left undone the weightier matters of the Law: justice, mercy, and faith. But you ought to have done these, and not to have left the other undone.
੨੩ਹੇ ਕਪਟੀ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕੋ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਰੀਸੀਓ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਾਏ! ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪੂਦੀਨੇ, ਸੌਂਫ਼ ਅਤੇ ਜੀਰੇ ਦਾ ਦਸਵੰਧ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋ, ਪਰ ਮੂਸਾ ਦੀ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਨਿਆਂ, ਦਯਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਛੱਡਦੇ।
24 You blind guides, who strain out a gnat, and swallow a camel.
੨੪ਹੇ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਆਗੂਓ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੱਛਰ ਪੁਣ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਊਠ ਨਿਗਲ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹੋ!
25 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites. For you clean the outside of the cup and the plate, but within they are full of extortion and self-indulgence.
੨੫ਹੇ ਕਪਟੀ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕੋ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਰੀਸੀਓ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਾਏ! ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਟੋਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਥਾਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰੋਂ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ ਪਰ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਉਹ ਲੁੱਟ ਅਤੇ ਬਦ-ਪਰਹੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
26 You blind Pharisee, first clean the inside of the cup and the plate, so that the outside may become clean also.
੨੬ਹੇ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਫ਼ਰੀਸੀਓ! ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕਟੋਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਥਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰੋ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਬਾਹਰੋਂ ਵੀ ਸਾਫ਼ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
27 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites. For you are like whitened tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but inwardly are full of dead people's bones, and of all uncleanness.
੨੭ਹੇ ਕਪਟੀ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕੋ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਰੀਸੀਓ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਾਏ! ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਰੰਗ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਕਬਰਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹੋ, ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਬਾਹਰੋਂ ਤਾਂ ਸੋਹਣੀਆਂ ਦਿਸਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਮੁਰਦਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਪਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ।
28 Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to people, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
੨੮ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਬਾਹਰੋਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਰਮੀ ਵਿਖਾਈ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋ ਪਰ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਕਪਟ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਧਰਮ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਹੋ।
29 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites. For you build the tombs of the prophets, and decorate the tombs of the righteous,
੨੯ਹੇ ਕਪਟੀ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕੋ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਰੀਸੀਓ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਾਏ! ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਬਰਾਂ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਮੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਮਾਧਾਂ ਸੁਆਰਦੇ ਹੋ।
30 and say, 'If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.'
੩੦ਅਤੇ ਆਖਦੇ ਹੋ ਜੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਉ-ਦਾਦਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਖੂਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਨਾ ਹੁੰਦੇ।
31 Therefore you testify to yourselves that you are children of those who killed the prophets.
੩੧ਸੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਖ਼ੂਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹਾਂ।
32 Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers.
੩੨ਸੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਉ-ਦਾਦਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਪ ਦੇ ਘੜੇ ਨੂੰ ਭਰੀ ਜਾਓ।
੩੩ਹੇ ਸੱਪੋ, ਹੇ ਨਾਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਓ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਰਕ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਤੋਂ ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਚੋਗੇ? (Geenna g1067)
34 Therefore, look, I send to you prophets, wise people, and scribes. Some of them you will kill and crucify; and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues, and persecute from city to city;
੩੪ਇਸ ਲਈ ਵੇਖੋ ਮੈਂ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਗਿਆਨੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਭੇਜਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਈਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟੋਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਲੀਬ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਓਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਕਈਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਰੜੇ ਮਾਰੋਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ-ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਗਰ ਪਓਗੇ।
35 that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Berechiah, whom you killed between the sanctuary and the altar.
੩੫ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਧਰਮੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਜਿੰਨਾਂ ਲਹੂ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਹਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੱਭੋ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਜੁੰਮੇ ਆਵੇ, ਹਾਬਲ ਧਰਮੀ ਦੇ ਲਹੂ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਬਕਰਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜ਼ਕਰਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਲਹੂ ਤੱਕ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
36 Truly I tell you, all these things will come upon this generation.
੩੬ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਇਸ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੁੰਮੇ ਆਵੇਗਾ।
37 "Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets, and stones those who are sent to her. How often I would have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you would not.
੩੭ਹੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ, ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ! ਤੂੰ ਜੋ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਤਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਭੇਜੇ ਗਏ ਪਥਰਾਉ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਮੈਂ ਕਿੰਨੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਚਾਹਿਆ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕਰਾਂ ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੁਰਗੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੰਭਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੇਠ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਾ ਚਾਹਿਆ।
38 Look, your house is abandoned to you.
੩੮ਵੇਖੋ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਘਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਉਜਾੜ ਛੱਡਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
39 For I tell you, you will not see me from now on, until you say, 'Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.'"
੩੯ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਨਾ ਵੇਖੋਗੇ ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਇਹ ਨਾ ਕਹੋਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
