Matthew 10
1 And he called to himself his twelve disciples, and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every sickness.
೧ಯೇಸು ತನ್ನ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮಂದಿ ಶಿಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ದೆವ್ವಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬಗೆಯ ರೋಗಗಳನ್ನೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರೀತಿಯ ಬೇನೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಾಸಿಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
2 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these. The first, Simon, who is called Peter; and Andrew his brother; and James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;
೨ಈ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮಂದಿ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರ ಹೆಸರುಗಳು ಯಾವುವೆಂದರೆ, ಮೊದಲನೆಯವನು ಪೇತ್ರನೆನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸೀಮೋನನು, ಅವನ ತಮ್ಮ ಅಂದ್ರೆಯ, ಜೆಬೆದಾಯನ ಮಗ ಯಾಕೋಬ, ಅವನ ತಮ್ಮನಾದ ಯೋಹಾನ,
3 Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;
೩ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪ, ಬಾರ್ತೊಲೊಮಾಯ, ತೋಮ, ಸುಂಕ ವಸೂಲಿಗಾರನಾದ ಮತ್ತಾಯ, ಅಲ್ಫಾಯನ ಮಗ ಯಾಕೋಬ, ತದ್ದಾಯ,
4 Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
೪ಮತಾಭಿಮಾನಿ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರುಗೊಂಡ ಸೀಮೋನ ಹಾಗೂ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಟ್ಟ ಇಸ್ಕರಿಯೋತ ಯೂದ, ಎಂಬಿವರುಗಳೇ.
5 Jesus sent these twelve out, and commanded them, saying, "Do not go among the non-Jews, and do not enter into any city of the Samaritans.
೫ಈ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಯೇಸು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು; ಕಳುಹಿಸುವಾಗ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ, “ಅನ್ಯಜನಗಳಿರುವಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಡಿರಿ, ಸಮಾರ್ಯದವರ ಊರೊಳಗೆ ಕಾಲಿಡಬೇಡಿರಿ;
6 Rather, go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
೬ಇವರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಕುರಿಗಳಂತಿರುವ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿರಿ.
7 And as you go, proclaim, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is near.'
೭‘ಪರಲೋಕ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಸಮೀಪವಾಯಿತೆಂದು’ ಸಾರಿಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ ಹೋಗಿರಿ.
8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.
೮ರೋಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಮಾಡಿರಿ, ಸತ್ತವರನ್ನು ಬದುಕಿಸಿರಿ, ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿರಿ, ದೆವ್ವಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿರಿ; ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದೀರಿ, ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಿರಿ.
9 Do not take any gold, nor silver, nor copper in your money belts.
೯ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೈ ಚೀಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿನ್ನ, ಹಣ ದುಡ್ಡುಗಳನ್ನೂ, ದಾರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದ ಚೀಲಗಳನ್ನೂ,
10 Take no bag for your journey, neither two tunics, nor shoes, nor staff: for the laborer is worthy of his food.
೧೦ಎರಡು ಅಂಗಿ, ಚಪ್ಪಲಿ, ಕೋಲು ಮೊದಲಾದವುಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿರಿ. ಆಳು ತನ್ನ ಆಹಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
11 And into whatever city or village you enter, find out who in it is worthy; and stay there until you go on.
೧೧ನೀವು ಯಾವುದೇ ಊರಿಗೆ ಅಥವಾ ಹಳ್ಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಯೋಗ್ಯರು ಯಾರೆಂದು ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಡುವ ತನಕ ಅ ಊರಲ್ಲೇ ಇರಿ.
12 And as you enter into the household, greet it.
೧೨ಆ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಹೋಗುವಾಗ ಶುಭವಾಗಲಿ ಅನ್ನಿರಿ.
13 And if the household is worthy, let your peace come on it, but if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.
೧೩ಆ ಮನೆಯವರು ಯೋಗ್ಯರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಮಾಧಾನವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬರಲಿ; ಅಯೋಗ್ಯರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಮಾಧಾನವು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಬರಲಿ.
14 And whoever does not receive you, nor hear your words, as you leave that house or that city, shake off the dust from your feet.
೧೪ಯಾರಾದರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೇಳದೆಯೂ ಹೋದರೆ ನೀವು ಆ ಮನೆಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಆ ಊರನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೊರಡುವಾಗ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಾದಕ್ಕೆ ಹತ್ತಿದ ಧೂಳನ್ನು ಝಾಡಿಸಿಬಿಡಿರಿ.
15 Truly I tell you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city.
೧೫ನ್ಯಾಯವಿಚಾರಣೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂಥ ಊರಿನ ಗತಿಯು ಸೊದೋಮ್ ಗೊಮೋರಗಳ ಸೀಮೆಯ ಗತಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಕಠಿಣವಾಗಿರುವುದು ಎಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
16 "Look, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be cunning as snakes and innocent as doves.
೧೬“ನೋಡಿರಿ, ತೋಳಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವಂತೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಸರ್ಪಗಳಂತೆ ಜಾಣರೂ ಪಾರಿವಾಳಗಳಂತೆ ನಿಷ್ಕಪಟಿಗಳೂ ಆಗಿರಿ.
17 But beware of people: for they will deliver you up to councils, and in their synagogues they will scourge you.
೧೭ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಜನರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗಿರಿ; ಅವರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯವಿಚಾರಣೆಯ ಸಭೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಎಳೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವರು; ತಮ್ಮ ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಚಾವಟಿಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆಯುವರು.
18 Yes, and you will be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony to them and to the nations.
೧೮ನನ್ನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಅರಸುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವರು. ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರಿಗೂ ಅನ್ಯಜನಗಳಿಗೂ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗುವಿರಿ.
19 But when they deliver you over, do not be anxious how or what you will say, for it will be given you in that hour what you will say.
೧೯ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡುವಾಗ ಏನು ಮಾತನಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಚಿಂತೆಮಾಡಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಆಡತಕ್ಕ ಮಾತು ಆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಗೋಚರವಾಗುವುದು.
20 For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.
೨೦ಮಾತನಾಡುವವರು ನೀವಲ್ಲ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯ ಆತ್ಮನೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಖಾಂತರವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವನು.
21 "And brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child. Children will rise up against parents, and cause them to be put to death.
೨೧ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಸಹೋದರನು ಸಹೋದರನನ್ನು, ತಂದೆಯು ಮಗನನ್ನು, ಮರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುವರು; ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಂದೆತಾಯಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ತಿರುಗಿಬಿದ್ದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಿಸುವರು.
22 And you will be hated by everyone because of my name, but the one who perseveres to the end will be saved.
೨೨ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುವರು. ಆದರೆ ಕಡೆಯವರೆಗೂ ತಾಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ರಕ್ಷಣೆಹೊಂದುವನು.
23 But when they persecute you in one city, flee to the other. And if they persecute you in the other, flee to the next. For truly I tell you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes.
೨೩ಒಂದು ಊರಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸೆಪಡಿಸಿದರೆ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಊರಿಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿರಿ; ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನು ಬರುವಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಜನರ ಊರುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಚರಿಸಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
24 "A disciple is not above the teacher, nor a servant above his lord.
೨೪“ಗುರುವಿಗಿಂತ ಶಿಷ್ಯನು ದೊಡ್ಡವನಲ್ಲ, ಒಡೆಯನಿಗಿಂತ ಆಳು ದೊಡ್ಡವನಲ್ಲ.
25 It is enough for the disciple that he be like his teacher, and the servant like his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more those of his household.
೨೫ಗುರುವಿನಂತೆ ಆಗುವುದು ಶಿಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಸಾಕು, ಒಡೆಯನಂತೆ ಆಗುವುದು ಆಳಿಗೆ ಸಾಕು. ಅವರು ಮನೆಯ ಯಜಮಾನನಿಗೆಬೆಲ್ಜೆಬೂಲನೆಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟು ಕರೆದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನ ಮನೆಯವರನ್ನು ಇನ್ನೆಷ್ಟು ಅವಹೇಳನವಾಗಿ ಕರೆದಾರು?
26 Therefore do not be afraid of them, for there is nothing covered that will not be revealed; and hidden that will not be known.
೨೬ಆದರೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೆದರಬೇಡಿರಿ. ಮರೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ಯಾವುದೂ ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗದೆ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಬೆಳಕಿಗೆ ಬಾರದ ರಹಸ್ಯವು ಇಲ್ಲ.
27 What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in the ear, proclaim on the housetops.
೨೭ನಾನು ಕತ್ತಲಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುವುದನ್ನು ನೀವು ಬೆಳಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿರಿ, ಮತ್ತು ಕಿವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಳಿಗೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಂತು ಸಾರಿರಿ.
28 And do not be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. (Geenna g1067)
೨೮ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಲಾರದವರಿಗೆ ಹೆದರಬೇಡಿರಿ, ಆತ್ಮ ಮತ್ತು ದೇಹ ಎರಡನ್ನೂ ನರಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿ ನಾಶಮಾಡಬಲ್ಲಾತನಿಗೇ ಹೆದರಿರಿ. (Geenna g1067)
29 "Are not two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father's will,
೨೯ಕಾಸಿಗೆ ಎರಡು ಗುಬ್ಬಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾರುವುದುಂಟಲ್ಲಾ; ಆದರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯ ಚಿತ್ತವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದರೂ ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬೀಳದು.
30 but the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
೩೦ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಲೆಕೂದಲುಗಳು ಸಹ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಎಣಿಕೆಯಾಗಿವೆ.
31 Therefore do not be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows.
೩೧ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಹೆದರಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಬಹಳ ಗುಬ್ಬಿಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ನೀವು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಬೆಲೆಬಾಳುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
32 Everyone therefore who confesses me before people, him I will also confess before my Father who is in heaven.
೩೨“ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಯಾವನು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮುಂದೆ ತಾನು ನನ್ನವನೆಂದು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನೋ, ನಾನು ಸಹ ಅವನನ್ನು ನನ್ನವನೆಂದು ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮುಂದೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು.
33 But whoever denies me before people, him I will also deny before my Father who is in heaven.
೩೩ಆದರೆ ಯಾವನು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮುಂದೆ ತಾನು ನನ್ನವನಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಹೇಳುವನೋ ಅವನನ್ನು ನಾನು ಸಹ ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮುಂದೆ ನನ್ನವನಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಹೇಳುವೆನು.
34 "Do not think that I came to send peace on the earth. I did not come to send peace, but a sword.
೩೪“ಭೂಲೋಕದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ತರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದೆನೆಂದು ನೆನಸಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಬಂದಿಲ್ಲ, ಖಡ್ಗವನ್ನು ಹಾಕುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದೆನು.
35 For I came to set a man at odds against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
೩೫ಹೇಗೆಂದರೆ ಮಗನಿಗೂ ತಂದೆಗೂ, ಮಗಳಿಗೂ ತಾಯಿಗೂ, ಸೊಸೆಗೂ ಅತ್ತೆಗೂ ಭೇದಹುಟ್ಟಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದೆನು.
36 And a person's foes will be those of his own household.
೩೬ಹೀಗೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಅವನ ಮನೆಯವರೇ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಾಗಿರುವರು.
37 Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
೩೭ತಂದೆಯ ಮೇಲಾಗಲಿ ತಾಯಿಯ ಮೇಲಾಗಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಡುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ಮಮತೆಯನ್ನಿಡುವವನು ನನಗೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯನಲ್ಲ; ಮಗನ ಮೇಲಾಗಲಿ ಮಗಳ ಮೇಲಾಗಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಡುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ಮಮತೆಯನ್ನಿಡುವವನು ನನಗೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯನಲ್ಲ.
38 And whoever does not take his cross and follow after me, is not worthy of me.
೩೮ಮತ್ತು ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ತನ್ನ ಶಿಲುಬೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸದಿದ್ದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯನಾಗಲು ಯೋಗ್ಯನಲ್ಲ.
39 Whoever seeks his life will lose it; and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
೩೯ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು; ನನ್ನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು.
40 Whoever receives you receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me.
೪೦“ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುವವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುವವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಾತನನ್ನೇ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
41 The one who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet's reward, and the one who receives a righteous person because he is a righteous person will receive a righteous person's reward.
೪೧ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯೆಂದು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗೆ ಬರತಕ್ಕ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವನು; ನೀತಿವಂತನನ್ನು ನೀತಿವಂತನೆಂದು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ನೀತಿವಂತನಿಗೆ ಬರತಕ್ಕ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವನು.
42 And whoever gives one of these little ones just a cup of cold water to drink because he is a disciple, truly I tell you he will in no way lose his reward."
೪೨ಮತ್ತುಈ ಕನಿಷ್ಠರಾದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯನೆಂದು ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಒಂದು ತಂಬಿಗೆ ತಣ್ಣೀರನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬರುವುದು ತಪ್ಪುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ” ಅಂದನು.
