Mark 15
1 Immediately in the morning the chief priests, with the elders and scribes, and the whole council, held a consultation, and bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate.
Y las primeras horas de la mañana, los principales sacerdotes, y los ancianos, y los escribas y todo el Sanedrín, se reunieron y pusieron cuerdas alrededor de Jesús, y se lo llevaron, y lo entregaron a Pilato.
2 Pilate asked him, "Are you the King of the Jews?" He answered, "You say so."
Y Pilato le hizo una pregunta: ¿Eres tú el Rey de los judíos? Y él, respondiendo, le dijo: Tú lo dices.
3 The chief priests accused him of many things.
Y los principales sacerdotes dijeron varias cosas contra él.
4 Pilate again asked him, "Have you no answer? See how many things they testify against you."
Y Pilato nuevamente hizo una pregunta, ¿No dice nada en respuesta? mira cuánto mal dicen que has hecho.
5 But Jesus made no further answer, and Pilate was amazed.
Pero Jesús no dio más respuestas, por lo que Pilato estaba lleno de asombro.
6 Now at the feast he used to release to them one prisoner, whom they requested.
Ahora, en la fiesta de cada año, dejan que un prisionero sea puesto en libertad a petición suya.
7 There was one called Barabbas, bound with those who had made insurrection, who in the insurrection had committed murder.
Y había uno llamado Barrabás, en prisión con aquellos que habían ido contra el gobierno y en la lucha cometió un asesinato.
8 And the crowd went up and began to ask him to do for them according to his custom.
Y el pueblo subió, y le rogaban que hiciera como él había hecho por ellos en otros años.
9 Pilate answered them, saying, "Do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?"
Y Pilato les respondió: ¿Es su deseo que deje libre al Rey de los Judíos?
10 For he perceived that for envy the chief priests had delivered him up.
Porque vio que los principales sacerdotes lo habían entregado por envidia.
11 But the chief priests stirred up the crowd, that he should release Barabbas to them instead.
Pero los principales sacerdotes incitaron a la gente para que dejara salir a Barrabás.
12 Pilate again asked them, "What then should I do to him whom you call the King of the Jews?"
Y Pilato volvió a decir en respuesta a ellos: ¿Qué, pues, voy a hacer con aquel a quien le pones el nombre del Rey de los judíos?
13 They shouted again, "Crucify him."
Y volvieron a decir en voz alta: ¡crucifícalo!
14 Pilate said to them, "Why, what evil has he done?" But they shouted all the louder, "Crucify him."
Y Pilato les dijo: ¿Por qué, qué mal ha hecho? Pero su grito fue más fuerte, ¡crucifícalo!
15 Pilate, wishing to please the crowd, released Barabbas to them, and handed over Jesus, when he had flogged him, to be crucified.
Y Pilato, queriendo hacer lo que agradaba al pueblo, dejó libre a Barrabás, y entregó a Jesús, cuando había sido azotado, para que lo mataran en la cruz.
16 The soldiers led him away within the court, which is the Praetorium; and they called together the whole cohort.
Y los hombres del ejército lo llevaron a la plaza frente al edificio que es el Pretorio, y reunieron a toda la unidad militar.
17 They clothed him with purple, and weaving a crown of thorns, they put it on him.
Y le pusieron un manto de púrpura, y torciendo una corona de espinas, se la pusieron;
18 They began to salute him, "Greetings, King of the Jews."
Y, como si lo honraran, dijeron: ¡Larga vida al Rey de los Judíos!
19 They struck his head with a reed, and spat on him, and bowing their knees, did homage to him.
Y le dieron golpes en la cabeza con un palo y se burlaban de él, y, arrodillándose, lo adoraron.
20 When they had mocked him, they took the purple off of him, and put his own garments on him. They led him out to crucify him.
Y cuando se burlaban de él, le quitaban la túnica púrpura y le ponían sus túnicas. Y lo sacaron para matarlo en la cruz.
21 And they forced one passing by, Simon of Cyrene, coming from the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to go with them, that he might carry his cross.
Y forzaron a uno que pasaba, Simón de Cirene, el padre de Alejandro y de Rufo, que venían del campo, a que le llevara la cruz.
22 And they brought him to the place called Golgotha, which is translated, "The place of a skull."
Y lo llevaron al lugar llamado Gólgota, que es, Lugar de las calaveras.
23 They offered him wine mixed with myrrh to drink, but he did not take it.
Y le dieron vino mezclado con mirra; pero él no lo tomó.
24 Crucifying him, they parted his garments among them, casting lots on them, what each should take.
Y él fue clavado en la cruz; e hicieron una división de su vestimenta entre ellos, dando a la decisión del azar lo que todos debían tomar.
25 It was nine in the morning, and they crucified him.
Y fue la tercera hora cuando lo pusieron en la cruz.
26 The superscription of his accusation was written over him, "THE KING OF THE JEWS."
Y la declaración de su crimen fue escrita en la cruz, EL REY DE LOS JUDÍOS.
27 With him they crucified two robbers; one on his right hand, and one on his left.
Y pusieron dos ladrones en cruces con él, uno en su lado derecho, y uno en su lado izquierdo.
28 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "And he was numbered with transgressors."
Asi se cumplio la escritura que dice Y fue contado entre los malvados.
29 Those who passed by blasphemed him, wagging their heads, and saying, "Ha. You who destroy the temple, and build it in three days,
Y los que pasaban se burlaban de él, meneando la cabeza y diciendo: ¡Ja! tú que destruyes el Templo, y lo vuelves a levantar en tres días,
30 save yourself and come down from the cross."
sálvate a ti mismo y desciende de la cruz.
31 Likewise, also the chief priests mocking among themselves with the scribes said, "He saved others. He cannot save himself.
De la misma manera, los principales sacerdotes, riéndose de él entre sí con los escribas, dijeron: Salvador de los demás, no se puede salvar a sí mismo.
32 Let the Messiah, the King of Israel, now come down from the cross, that we may see and believe him." Those who were crucified with him insulted him.
Deja que el Cristo, el Rey de Israel, baje ahora de la cruz, para que podamos ver y tener fe. Y los que fueron puestos en cruces con él dijeron cosas malas contra él.
33 Now when it was noon, there was darkness over the whole land until three in the afternoon.
Cuando llegó la hora sexta, oscureció sobre toda la tierra hasta la hora novena.
34 Then at three in the afternoon Jesus called out with a loud voice, saying, "Elohi, Elohi, lema shabachthani?" which is translated, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"
Y a la hora novena, Jesús dijo en voz alta, Eloi, Eloi, ¿lama sabactani? que es, Dios mío, Dios mío, ¿por qué me has abandonado?
35 Some of those who stood by, when they heard it, said, "Look, he is calling for Elijah."
Y algunos de los que estaban cerca, oyéndole, dijeron: Mira, él está clamando a Elías.
36 One ran, and filling a sponge full of vinegar, put it on a reed, and gave it to him to drink, saying, "Let him be. Let us see whether Elijah comes to take him down."
Y uno de ellos fue rápido, y tomando una esponja llena de vino amargo, la puso sobre una vara, y se la dio a beber, diciendo: Déjalo; veamos si Elías viene a bajarlo.
37 Jesus gave a loud cry, and gave up the spirit.
Entonces Jesús, dando un gran grito, y dio su último suspiro.
38 The veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom.
Y la cortina del Templo se dividió en dos de punta a punta.
39 And when the centurion, who stood by opposite him, saw that he cried out like this and breathed his last, he said, "Truly this man was the Son of God."
Y cuando el capitán que estaba cerca, vió cómo abandonaba su espíritu, dijo: Verdaderamente este hombre era un hijo de Dios.
40 There were also women watching from afar, among whom were both Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the younger and of Josi, and Salome;
Y había mujeres mirando de lejos: entre ellas estaban María Magdalena, y María, la madre de Santiago el menor, y de José, y Salomé,
41 who, when he was in Galilee, followed him, and served him; and many other women who came up with him to Jerusalem.
Que iban con él cuando estaba en Galilea y lo seguían y le servían; y varias otras mujeres que lo acompañaron a Jerusalén.
42 When evening had now come, because it was the Preparation Day, that is, the day before the Sabbath,
Y cuando era tarde, porque era tiempo de alistarse, es decir, el día antes del día de reposo,
43 Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent council member who also himself was looking for the Kingdom of God, came. He boldly went in to Pilate, and asked for the body of Jesus.
Vino José de Arimatea, hombre importante de la corte judía, que estaba esperando el reino de Dios; y él fue a Pilato sin temor, e hizo una petición para recoger el cuerpo de Jesús.
44 Pilate was surprised that he was already dead; and summoning the centurion, he asked him whether he had been dead long.
Y Pilato se sorprendió de que ya hubiese muerto; y, enviando al capitán, hizo una pregunta para ver si había estado muerto por mucho tiempo.
45 When he found out from the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph.
Y cuando tuvo noticias del capitán, dejó que José se llevara el cuerpo.
46 He bought a linen cloth, and taking him down, wound him in the linen cloth, and placed him in a tomb which had been cut out of a rock. He rolled a stone against the door of the tomb.
Compró una sábana de lino, bajandolo lo envolvió en la sábana y lo puso en el sepulcro en una cueva, e hizo rodar una piedra en la entrada del sepulcro.
47 Mary Magdalene and Mary, the mother of Josi, saw where he was placed.
Y María Magdalena y María, la madre de José, vieron dónde fue puesto.
