< Luke 24 >

1 But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they came to the tomb, bringing the spices which they had prepared.
Pa tsiku loyamba la Sabata, mmamawa kwambiri, amayi anatenga zonunkhira napita ku manda.
2 They found the stone rolled away from the tomb.
Anaona mwala wa pa manda utagubuduzika
3 They entered in, and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
ndipo atalowamo sanapeze mtembo wa Ambuye Yesu.
4 It happened, while they were greatly perplexed about this, look, two men stood by them in dazzling clothing.
Pamene iwo ankadabwa za zimenezi, mwadzidzidzi, amuna awiri ovala zovala zonyezimira kwambiri anayimirira pambali pawo.
5 Becoming terrified, they bowed their faces down to the earth. They said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead?
Ndi mantha, amayiwo anaweramitsa nkhope zawo pansi, koma amunawo anawawuza kuti, “Nʼchifukwa chiyani mukufuna wamoyo pakati pa akufa?
6 He is not here, but is risen. Remember what he told you when he was still in Galilee,
Iye sali muno ayi. Wauka! Kumbukirani zimene anakuwuzani pamene anali nanu ku Galileya:
7 saying that the Son of Man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again?"
‘Mwana wa Munthu ayenera kuperekedwa mʼmanja mwa anthu ochimwa, napachikidwa ndipo tsiku lachitatu adzaukitsidwanso.’”
8 Then they remembered his words.
Ndipo anakumbukira mawu ake.
9 And returning from the tomb, they told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest.
Atabwerera kuchokera ku mandako, anafotokoza zinthu zonse kwa khumi ndi mmodziwo ndi kwa ena onse.
10 Now they were Mary Magdalene and Joanna and Mary the mother of James and the other women with them who told these things to the apostles.
Amayi anali Mariya Magadalena, Yohana, Mariya amayi a Yakobo, ndi ena anali nawo amene anawuza atumwi.
11 These words seemed to them to be nonsense, and they did not believe them.
Koma iwo sanawakhulupirire amayiwa, chifukwa mawu awo amaoneka kwa iwo ngati opanda nzeru.
12 But Peter got up and ran to the tomb. Stooping and looking in, he saw the strips of linen by themselves, and he departed to his home, wondering what had happened.
Komabe Petro anayimirira ndi kuthamangira ku manda. Atasuzumira, anaona nsalu zimene anamukulungira zija zili pa zokha, ndipo iye anachoka, akudabwa ndi zimene zinachitikazo.
13 And look, two of them were going that very day to a village named Emmaus, which was about seven miles from Jerusalem.
Ndipo tsiku lomwelo, awiri a iwo ankapita ku mudzi wotchedwa Emau, pafupifupi makilomita khumi ndi imodzi kuchokera ku Yerusalemu.
14 They talked with each other about all of these things which had happened.
Iwo ankayankhulana za zonse zimene zinachitikazo.
15 It happened, while they talked and questioned together, that Jesus himself came near, and went with them.
Pamenepo Yesu mwini wake anabwera ndi kuyenda nawo pamodzi;
16 But their eyes were kept from recognizing him.
koma iwo sanamuzindikire.
17 And he said to them, "What are these words that you are exchanging with each other as you walk?" And they stood still, looking sad.
Iye anawafunsa kuti, “Kodi mukukambirana zotani mʼnjira muno?” Iwo anayima ndi nkhope zakugwa.
18 One of them, named Cleopas, answered him, "Are you the only stranger in Jerusalem who does not know the things which have happened there in these days?"
Mmodzi wa iwo wotchedwa Kaliyopa anamufunsa kuti, “Kodi ndiwe wekha wokhala mu Yerusalemu amene sukudziwa zinthu zimene zachitika mʼmasiku awa?”
19 He said to them, "What things?" They said to him, "The things concerning Jesus, the Nazarene, a man who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people;
Iye anafunsa kuti, “Zinthu zotani?” Iwo anayankha nati, “Za Yesu wa ku Nazareti, Iye anali mneneri, wamphamvu mʼmawu ndi mu zochita pamaso pa Mulungu ndi anthu onse.
20 and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him up to be condemned to death, and crucified him.
Akulu a ansembe ndi oweruza anamupereka Iye kuti aphedwe, ndipo anamupachika Iye;
21 But we were hoping that it was he who would redeem Israel. Yes, and besides all this, it is now the third day since these things happened.
koma ife tinkayembekezera kuti Iye ndiye amene akanawombola Israeli. Ndipo kuwonjeza apo, lero ndi tsiku lachitatu chichitikireni izi.
22 Also, certain women of our company amazed us, having arrived early at the tomb;
Kuwonjezanso apo, ena mwa amayi athu atidabwitsa ife. Iwo anapita ku manda mmamawa
23 and when they did not find his body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive.
koma sanakapeze mtembo wake. Iwo anabwera ndi kudzatiwuza ife kuti anaona masomphenya a angelo amene anati Yesu ali moyo.
24 Some of us went to the tomb, and found it just like the women had said, but they did not see him."
Kenaka ena mwa anzathu anapita ku manda ndipo anakapeza monga momwe amayiwo ananenera, koma Iye sanamuone.”
25 Then he said to them, "O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken.
Iye anawawuza kuti, “Inu ndinu anthu opusa, osafuna kukhulupirira msanga zonse zimene aneneri ananena!
26 Did not the Messiah have to suffer these things and to enter into his glory?"
Kodi Khristu sanayenera kumva zowawa izi ndipo kenaka ndi kulowa mu ulemerero wake?”
27 Beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.
Ndipo kuyambira ndi Mose ndi aneneri onse Iye anawafotokozera zimene zinalembedwa mʼmalemba wonse zokhudzana ndi Iye mwini.
28 They drew near to the village, where they were going, and he acted like he would go further.
Atayandikira mudzi omwe amapitako, Yesu anachita ngati akupitirira.
29 They urged him, saying, "Stay with us, for it is almost evening, and the day is almost over." He went in to stay with them.
Koma iwo anamupempha Iye kwambiri kuti, “Mukhale ndi ife, popeza kwatsala pangʼono kuda, ndipo dzuwa lili pafupi kulowa.” Ndipo Iye anapita kukakhala nawo.
30 It happened, that when he had sat down at the table with them, he took the bread and gave thanks. Breaking it, he gave to them.
Iye ali pa tebulo pamodzi nawo, anatenga buledi ndipo anayamika, nanyema nayamba kuwagawira.
31 Their eyes were opened, and they recognized him, and he vanished out of their sight.
Kenaka maso awo anatsekuka ndipo anamuzindikira Iye, ndipo anachoka pakati pawo.
32 And they said to one another, "Weren't our hearts burning within us, while he spoke to us along the way, and while he opened the Scriptures to us?"
Iwo anafunsana wina ndi mnzake kuti, “Kodi mitima yathu sinali kutentha mʼkati mwathu pamene Iye ankayankhulana nafe pa njira ndi mmene anatitsekulira malemba?”
33 They rose up that very hour, returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and those who were with them,
Nthawi yomweyo iwo anayimirira ndi kubwerera ku Yerusalemu. Iwo anapeza khumi ndi mmodziwo ndi ena anali nawo nasonkhana pamodzi
34 saying, "The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon."
ndipo anati, “Ndi zoonadi! Ambuye auka ndipo anaonekera kwa Simoni.”
35 They related the things that happened along the way, and how he was recognized by them in the breaking of the bread.
Kenaka awiriwo anawawuza zimene zinachitika pa njira, ndi mmene iwo anamudziwira Yesu, Iye atanyema buledi.
36 As they said these things, Jesus himself stood among them, and said to them, "Peace be to you."
Akufotokoza zimenezi, Yesu mwini wake anayimirira pakati pawo ndipo anati, “Mukhale ndi mtendere.”
37 But they were terrified and filled with fear, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.
Koma chifukwa choti anathedwa nzeru ndi kuchita mantha, ankaganiza kuti akuona mzukwa.
38 He said to them, "Why are you troubled? Why do doubts arise in your hearts?
Iye anawafunsa kuti, “Nʼchifukwa chiyani mukuvutika? Nʼchifukwa chiyani mukukayika mu mtima mwanu?
39 See my hands and my feet, that it is truly me. Touch me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones, as you see that I have."
Taonani manja anga ndi mapazi anga. Ine ndine amene! Khudzeni kuti muone. Mzukwa ulibe mnofu ndi mafupa monga mukuonera ndili nazo.”
40 When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet.
Iye atanena izi anawaonetsa manja ake ndi mapazi ake.
41 While they still did not believe for joy, and wondered, he said to them, "Do you have anything here to eat?"
Ndipo pamene iwo samakhulupirirabe, chifukwa cha chimwemwe ndi kudabwa, Iye anawafunsa kuti, “Kodi muli ndi chakudya chilichonse pano?”
42 And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish.
Iwo anamupatsa Iye kachidutswa ka nsomba yophika.
43 And he took it and ate in front of them.
Iye anakatenga ndi kukadya iwo akuona.
44 And he said to them, "This is what I told you, while I was still with you, that all things which are written in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms, concerning me must be fulfilled."
Iye anawawuza kuti, “Izi ndi zimene ndinakuwuzani pamene ndinali nanu: chilichonse chiyenera kukwaniritsidwa chimene chinalembedwa cha Ine mʼbuku la Malamulo a Mose, Aneneri ndi Masalimo.”
45 Then he opened their minds, that they might understand the Scriptures.
Kenaka anawatsekula maganizo kuti azindikire Malemba.
46 He said to them, "Thus it is written, for the Messiah to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day,
Iye anawawuza kuti, “Izi ndi zimene zinalembedwa: Khristu adzazunzika ndipo adzauka kwa akufa tsiku lachitatu.
47 and that repentance leading to forgiveness of sins should be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
Ndipo kutembenuka mtima ndi kukhululukidwa kwa machimo zidzalalikidwa mu dzina lake kwa anthu amitundu yonse kuyambira mu Yerusalemu.
48 You are witnesses of these things.
Inu ndinu mboni za zimenezi.
49 And look, I send forth the promise of my Father on you. But wait in the city until you are clothed with power from on high."
Ine ndidzakutumizirani chimene Atate anga analonjeza. Koma khalani mu mzinda muno mpaka mutavekedwa mphamvu yochokera kumwamba.”
50 He led them out as far as Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.
Iye atawatengera kunja kwa mzindawo mpaka ku Betaniya, anakweza manja ake ndi kuwadalitsa.
51 It happened, while he blessed them, that he departed from them, and was carried up into heaven.
Iye akuwadalitsa, anawasiya ndipo anatengedwa kupita kumwamba.
52 They worshiped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy,
Pamenepo anamulambira Iye ndipo anabwerera ku Yerusalemu ndi chimwemwe chachikulu.
53 and were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God.
Ndipo iwo anakhalabe ku Nyumba ya Mulungu, akulemekeza Mulungu.
