Yochanan 15
1 "I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.
ਅਹੰ ਸਤ੍ਯਦ੍ਰਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਲਤਾਸ੍ਵਰੂਪੋ ਮਮ ਪਿਤਾ ਤੂਦ੍ਯਾਨਪਰਿਚਾਰਕਸ੍ਵਰੂਪਞ੍ਚ|
2 Every branch in me that does not bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
ਮਮ ਯਾਸੁ ਸ਼ਾਖਾਸੁ ਫਲਾਨਿ ਨ ਭਵਨ੍ਤਿ ਤਾਃ ਸ ਛਿਨੱਤਿ ਤਥਾ ਫਲਵਤ੍ਯਃ ਸ਼ਾਖਾ ਯਥਾਧਿਕਫਲਾਨਿ ਫਲਨ੍ਤਿ ਤਦਰ੍ਥੰ ਤਾਃ ਪਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਕਰੋਤਿ|
3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
ਇਦਾਨੀਂ ਮਯੋਕ੍ਤੋਪਦੇਸ਼ੇਨ ਯੂਯੰ ਪਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤਾਃ|
4 Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me.
ਅਤਃ ਕਾਰਣਾਤ੍ ਮਯਿ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਤ ਤੇਨਾਹਮਪਿ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਸੁ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਾਮਿ, ਯਤੋ ਹੇਤੋ ਰ੍ਦ੍ਰਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਲਤਾਯਾਮ੍ ਅਸੰਲਗ੍ਨਾ ਸ਼ਾਖਾ ਯਥਾ ਫਲਵਤੀ ਭਵਿਤੁੰ ਨ ਸ਼ਕ੍ਨੋਤਿ ਤਥਾ ਯੂਯਮਪਿ ਮੱਯਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਨ੍ਤਃ ਫਲਵਨ੍ਤੋ ਭਵਿਤੁੰ ਨ ਸ਼ਕ੍ਨੁਥ|
5 I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
ਅਹੰ ਦ੍ਰਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਲਤਾਸ੍ਵਰੂਪੋ ਯੂਯਞ੍ਚ ਸ਼ਾਖਾਸ੍ਵਰੂਪੋਃ; ਯੋ ਜਨੋ ਮਯਿ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਤਿ ਯਤ੍ਰ ਚਾਹੰ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਾਮਿ, ਸ ਪ੍ਰਚੂਰਫਲੈਃ ਫਲਵਾਨ੍ ਭਵਤਿ, ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਮਾਂ ਵਿਨਾ ਯੂਯੰ ਕਿਮਪਿ ਕਰ੍ੱਤੁੰ ਨ ਸ਼ਕ੍ਨੁਥ|
6 If anyone does not remain in me, he is thrown out as a branch, and withers; and they gather them, throw them into the fire, and they are burned.
ਯਃ ਕਸ਼੍ਚਿਨ੍ ਮਯਿ ਨ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਤਿ ਸ ਸ਼ੁਸ਼਼੍ਕਸ਼ਾਖੇਵ ਬਹਿ ਰ੍ਨਿਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਿਪ੍ਯਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਤਾ ਆਹ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਯ ਵਹ੍ਨੌ ਨਿਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਿਪ੍ਯ ਦਾਹਯਨ੍ਤਿ|
7 If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you.
ਯਦਿ ਯੂਯੰ ਮਯਿ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਥ ਮਮ ਕਥਾ ਚ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਸੁ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਤਿ ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਯਦ੍ ਵਾਞ੍ਛਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਯਾਚਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਧ੍ਵੇ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਤਦੇਵ ਸਫਲੰ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ|
8 "In this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.
ਯਦਿ ਯੂਯੰ ਪ੍ਰਚੂਰਫਲਵਨ੍ਤੋ ਭਵਥ ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਤਦ੍ਵਾਰਾ ਮਮ ਪਿਤੁ ਰ੍ਮਹਿਮਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤੇ ਤਥਾ ਯੂਯੰ ਮਮ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾ ਇਤਿ ਪਰਿਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਧ੍ਵੇ|
9 Even as the Father has loved me, I also have loved you. Remain in my love.
ਪਿਤਾ ਯਥਾ ਮਯਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਵਾਨ੍ ਅਹਮਪਿ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਸੁ ਤਥਾ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਵਾਨ੍ ਅਤੋ ਹੇਤੋ ਰ੍ਯੂਯੰ ਨਿਰਨ੍ਤਰੰ ਮਮ ਪ੍ਰੇਮਪਾਤ੍ਰਾਣਿ ਭੂਤ੍ਵਾ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਤ|
10 If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and remain in his love.
ਅਹੰ ਯਥਾ ਪਿਤੁਰਾਜ੍ਞਾ ਗ੍ਰੁʼਹੀਤ੍ਵਾ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਪ੍ਰੇਮਭਾਜਨੰ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਾਮਿ ਤਥੈਵ ਯੂਯਮਪਿ ਯਦਿ ਮਮਾਜ੍ਞਾ ਗੁਹ੍ਲੀਥ ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਮਮ ਪ੍ਰੇਮਭਾਜਨਾਨਿ ਸ੍ਥਾਸ੍ਯਥ|
11 I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.
ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮੰਨਿਮਿੱਤੰ ਮਮ ਯ ਆਹ੍ਲਾਦਃ ਸ ਯਥਾ ਚਿਰੰ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਤਿ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕਮ੍ ਆਨਨ੍ਦਸ਼੍ਚ ਯਥਾ ਪੂਰ੍ੱਯਤੇ ਤਦਰ੍ਥੰ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਭ੍ਯਮ੍ ਏਤਾਃ ਕਥਾ ਅਤ੍ਰਕਥਮ੍|
12 "This is my commandment, that you love one another, even as I have loved you.
ਅਹੰ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਸੁ ਯਥਾ ਪ੍ਰੀਯੇ ਯੂਯਮਪਿ ਪਰਸ੍ਪਰੰ ਤਥਾ ਪ੍ਰੀਯਧ੍ਵਮ੍ ਏਸ਼਼ਾ ਮਮਾਜ੍ਞਾ|
13 Greater love has no one than this, that someone lays down his life for his friends.
ਮਿਤ੍ਰਾਣਾਂ ਕਾਰਣਾਤ੍ ਸ੍ਵਪ੍ਰਾਣਦਾਨਪਰ੍ੱਯਨ੍ਤੰ ਯਤ੍ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਤਸ੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਮਹਾਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕਸ੍ਯਾਪਿ ਨਾਸ੍ਤਿ|
14 You are my friends, if you do whatever I command you.
ਅਹੰ ਯਦ੍ਯਦ੍ ਆਦਿਸ਼ਾਮਿ ਤੱਤਦੇਵ ਯਦਿ ਯੂਯਮ੍ ਆਚਰਤ ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਯੂਯਮੇਵ ਮਮ ਮਿਤ੍ਰਾਣਿ|
15 No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing. But I have called you friends, for everything that I heard from my Father I have made known to you.
ਅਦ੍ਯਾਰਭ੍ਯ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਦਾਸਾਨ੍ ਨ ਵਦਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਮਿ ਯਤ੍ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਰ੍ਯਤ੍ ਕਰੋਤਿ ਦਾਸਸ੍ਤਦ੍ ਨ ਜਾਨਾਤਿ; ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਪਿਤੁਃ ਸਮੀਪੇ ਯਦ੍ਯਦ੍ ਅਸ਼੍ਰੁʼਣਵੰ ਤਤ੍ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੰ ਯੂਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਅਜ੍ਞਾਪਯਮ੍ ਤਤ੍ਕਾਰਣਾਦ੍ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਮਿਤ੍ਰਾਣਿ ਪ੍ਰੋਕ੍ਤਵਾਨ੍|
16 You did not choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
ਯੂਯੰ ਮਾਂ ਰੋਚਿਤਵਨ੍ਤ ਇਤਿ ਨ, ਕਿਨ੍ਤ੍ਵਹਮੇਵ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਰੋਚਿਤਵਾਨ੍ ਯੂਯੰ ਗਤ੍ਵਾ ਯਥਾ ਫਲਾਨ੍ਯੁਤ੍ਪਾਦਯਥ ਤਾਨਿ ਫਲਾਨਿ ਚਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਯਾਣਿ ਭਵਨ੍ਤਿ, ਤਦਰ੍ਥੰ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਨ੍ਯਜੁਨਜੰ ਤਸ੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਮਮ ਨਾਮ ਪ੍ਰੋਚ੍ਯ ਪਿਤਰੰ ਯਤ੍ ਕਿਞ੍ਚਿਦ੍ ਯਾਚਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਧ੍ਵੇ ਤਦੇਵ ਸ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਭ੍ਯੰ ਦਾਸ੍ਯਤਿ|
17 "I command these things to you, that you may love one another.
ਯੂਯੰ ਪਰਸ੍ਪਰੰ ਪ੍ਰੀਯਧ੍ਵਮ੍ ਅਹਮ੍ ਇਤ੍ਯਾਜ੍ਞਾਪਯਾਮਿ|
18 If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you.
ਜਗਤੋ ਲੋਕੈ ਰ੍ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਸੁ ਰੁʼਤੀਯਿਤੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਤੇ ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵੰ ਮਾਮੇਵਾਰ੍ੱਤੀਯਨ੍ਤ ਇਤਿ ਯੂਯੰ ਜਾਨੀਥ|
19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, since I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
ਯਦਿ ਯੂਯੰ ਜਗਤੋ ਲੋਕਾ ਅਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤ ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਜਗਤੋ ਲੋਕਾ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਆਤ੍ਮੀਯਾਨ੍ ਬੁੱਧ੍ਵਾਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤ; ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਯੂਯੰ ਜਗਤੋ ਲੋਕਾ ਨ ਭਵਥ, ਅਹੰ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਅਸ੍ਮਾੱਜਗਤੋ(ਅ)ਰੋਚਯਮ੍ ਏਤਸ੍ਮਾਤ੍ ਕਾਰਣਾੱਜਗਤੋ ਲੋਕਾ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਰੁʼਤੀਯਨ੍ਤੇ|
20 Remember the word that I said to you: 'A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will keep yours also.
ਦਾਸਃ ਪ੍ਰਭੋ ਰ੍ਮਹਾਨ੍ ਨ ਭਵਤਿ ਮਮੈਤਤ੍ ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵੀਯੰ ਵਾਕ੍ਯੰ ਸ੍ਮਰਤ; ਤੇ ਯਦਿ ਮਾਮੇਵਾਤਾਡਯਨ੍ ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨਪਿ ਤਾਡਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤਿ, ਯਦਿ ਮਮ ਵਾਕ੍ਯੰ ਗ੍ਰੁʼਹ੍ਲਨ੍ਤਿ ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕਮਪਿ ਵਾਕ੍ਯੰ ਗ੍ਰਹੀਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤਿ|
21 But all these things will they do to you because of my name, because they do not know him who sent me.
ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਤੇ ਮਮ ਨਾਮਕਾਰਣਾਦ੍ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਤਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ੰ ਵ੍ਯਵਹਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤਿ ਯਤੋ ਯੋ ਮਾਂ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤਵਾਨ੍ ਤੰ ਤੇ ਨ ਜਾਨਨ੍ਤਿ|
22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have had sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.
ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਸੰਨਿਧਿਮ੍ ਆਗਤ੍ਯ ਯਦ੍ਯਹੰ ਨਾਕਥਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯੰ ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਪਾਪੰ ਨਾਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤ੍ ਕਿਨ੍ਤ੍ਵਧੁਨਾ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਪਾਪਮਾੱਛਾਦਯਿਤੁਮ੍ ਉਪਾਯੋ ਨਾਸ੍ਤਿ|
23 He who hates me hates my Father also.
ਯੋ ਜਨੋ ਮਾਮ੍ ਰੁʼਤੀਯਤੇ ਸ ਮਮ ਪਿਤਰਮਪਿ ਰੁʼਤੀਯਤੇ|
24 If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would not have had sin. But now have they seen and also hated both me and my Father.
ਯਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ਾਨਿ ਕਰ੍ੰਮਾਣਿ ਕੇਨਾਪਿ ਕਦਾਪਿ ਨਾਕ੍ਰਿਯਨ੍ਤ ਤਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ਾਨਿ ਕਰ੍ੰਮਾਣਿ ਯਦਿ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਸਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਦ੍ ਅਹੰ ਨਾਕਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਯੰ ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਪਾਪੰ ਨਾਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤ੍ ਕਿਨ੍ਤ੍ਵਧੁਨਾ ਤੇ ਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟ੍ਵਾਪਿ ਮਾਂ ਮਮ ਪਿਤਰਞ੍ਚਾਰ੍ੱਤੀਯਨ੍ਤ|
25 But this happened so that the word may be fulfilled which is written in their law, 'They hated me without a cause.'
ਤਸ੍ਮਾਤ੍ ਤੇ(ਅ)ਕਾਰਣੰ ਮਾਮ੍ ਰੁʼਤੀਯਨ੍ਤੇ ਯਦੇਤਦ੍ ਵਚਨੰ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਸ਼ਾਸ੍ਤ੍ਰੇ ਲਿਖਿਤਮਾਸ੍ਤੇ ਤਤ੍ ਸਫਲਮ੍ ਅਭਵਤ੍|
26 "When the Helper has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me.
ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਪਿਤੁ ਰ੍ਨਿਰ੍ਗਤੰ ਯੰ ਸਹਾਯਮਰ੍ਥਾਤ੍ ਸਤ੍ਯਮਯਮ੍ ਆਤ੍ਮਾਨੰ ਪਿਤੁਃ ਸਮੀਪਾਦ੍ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਸਮੀਪੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼਼ਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਮਿ ਸ ਆਗਤ੍ਯ ਮਯਿ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣੰ ਦਾਸ੍ਯਤਿ|
27 And you will also testify, because you have been with me from the beginning.
ਯੂਯੰ ਪ੍ਰਥਮਮਾਰਭ੍ਯ ਮਯਾ ਸਾਰ੍ੱਧੰ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਥ ਤਸ੍ਮਾੱਧੇਤੋ ਰ੍ਯੂਯਮਪਿ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣੰ ਦਾਸ੍ਯਥ|
