< Job 31 >

1 "I made a covenant with my eyes, how then should I look lustfully at a young woman?
Hanki nagrama navuma kezani'afima mago huvempa kema hu'noana, mago mofa'ma negesuna havi antahintahia e'orisnue hu'na huvempa hu'noe.
2 For what is the portion from God above, and the heritage from Shaddai on high?
E'inahu havi avu'ava'zama hanugeno'a, manisgama hu'nea Hankavenentake Anumzamo'a ana havi avu'ava zanirera havi mizana namigahie.
3 Is it not calamity for the unrighteous, and disaster for evildoers?
Havizama hu'za refkoma hu so'ema nosaza vahera Anumzamo'a knaza nezamino, kumi'ma haza vahetera hazenkeza atregeno ne-e.
4 Doesn't he see my ways, and number all my steps?

10 then let my wife grind for another, and let others sleep with her.
atrenkeno nagri a'mo'a ru vemofo a' nemanina, ru venenemo'za a'ni'a ante'za maseho.
11 For that would be a heinous crime. Yes, it would be an iniquity to be punished by the judges:

12 For it is a fire that consumes to destruction, and would root out all my increase.

15 Did not he who made me in the womb make him? Did not the same one fashion us in the womb?
16 "If I have withheld the poor from their desire, or have caused the eyes of the widow to fail,

Hagi keaga refkohu ne'mo'a, nagri kaziga antegahie nehu'na, nagra keagafina oti'na megusa mofavre naga'ma keagama huzmantesnuana,
22 then let my shoulder fall from the shoulder blade, and my arm be broken from the bone.
nazamo'a nazo'nafinti rutasagi huramigahie.
23 For calamity from God is a terror to me. Because his majesty, I can do nothing.

25 If I have rejoiced because my wealth was great, and because my hand had gotten much;
26 if I have seen the sun when it shined, or the moon moving in splendor,

28 this also would be an iniquity to be punished by the judges; for I should have denied the God who is above.
Hanki nagrama anama hu'nesanuana kumi hu'noankino, kema refko'ma hunantesnia nemo'a knaza namigahie. Na'ankure onagamu monafinkama nemania Anumzamofontera havige hu'na eri fraki'nogu anara hugahie.

33 if like Adam I have covered my transgressions, by hiding my iniquity in my heart,
Mago'a vahe'mo'zama nehazaza hu'na kumi'ni'a nagu'afina eri frakinaku hu'noanagi, anara osu'noe.
34 because I feared the great multitude, and the contempt of families terrified me, so that I kept silence, and did not go out of the door—
Hagi rama'a vahe'mo'zama nenage'za, kiza zokago kema hunenantesage'za, naga'nimo'zama eme nasami'zankura korera hu'na nompina omani'noe.
35 oh that I had one to hear me. (look, here is my signature, let Shaddai answer me); let the accuser write my indictment.
Hagi nagra nagesama antahuana, nagrama nehuankema mago vahe'mo'ma agesama anteno antahiresina knare hisine. Nagra nazanko avona ama antoanki atre'nenkeno Hankavenentake Anumzamo negeno kenona hunanteno. Hagi mago vahe'mo'ma nagri'ma keagama hunantenaku'ma hanuno'a avompi krenteno.
36 Surely I would carry it on my shoulder; and I would bind it to me as a crown.
37 I would declare to him the number of my steps; as a prince would I go near to him.

38 If my land cries out against me, and its furrows weep together;
Hagi mopa'nimo'ma haviza hu'nane huno'ma keagama hunantenigeno, hoza tinkamo'a tusi zavi'netenigeno,
39 if I have eaten its fruits without money, or have caused its owners to lose their life,

40 let briars grow instead of wheat, and stinkweed instead of barley." The words of Job are ended.
