Jeremiah 9
1 Oh that my head were waters, and my eyes a spring of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people.
Кто даст главе моей воду и очесем моим источник слез? И плачуся день и нощь о побиенных дщере людий моих.
2 Oh that I had in the wilderness a lodging place of wayfaring men; that I might leave my people, and go from them. For they are all adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men."
Кто даст мне в пустыни виталище последнее? И оставлю люди моя и отиду от них: понеже вси любодействуют, соборище преступников.
3 "They bend their tongue as a bow. Falsehood and not truth has grown strong in the land; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they do not know me," says the LORD.
И налякоша язык свой яко лук: лжа и неверство укрепишася на земли, ибо от злых во злая произыдоша и Мене не познаша, рече Господь.
4 "Everyone be on guard against his neighbor, and do not trust any brother; for every brother is a deceiver, and every neighbor will go about with slanders.
Кийждо от искренняго своего да стрежется, и на братию свою не уповайте, ибо всяк брат запинанием запнет, и всяк друг льстивно наскочит.
5 Everyone deceives his neighbor, and does not speak the truth. They have taught their tongue to speak lies; they do evil, they do not cease so as to return.
Кийждо другу своему посмеется, истины не возглаголют: научиша язык свой глаголати лжу, неправдоваша и не восхотеша обратитися.
6 Oppression upon oppression, and deceit upon deceit. They refuse to know me," says the LORD.
Лихва на лихву и лесть на лесть: не восхотеша уведети Мене, рече Господь.
7 Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, "Look, I will melt them, and try them; for how should I deal with the wickedness of the daughter of my people?
Сего ради тако глаголет Господь Сил: се, Аз разжегу их и искушу их: что бо ино сотворю от лица лукавства дщери людий Моих?
8 Their tongue is a deadly arrow; it speaks deceit: one speaks peaceably to his neighbor with his mouth, but in his heart he lies in wait for him.
Стрела уязвляющая язык их, льстивии глаголы уст их: приятелю своему глаголет мирная, внутрь же себе имеет вражду.
9 Shall I not visit them for these things?" says the LORD; "shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?"
Еда на сих не посещу? Рече Господь: или людем таковым не отмстит душа Моя?
10 "For the mountains I will take up weeping and wailing, and for the pastures of the wilderness a lamentation, because they are laid waste so that no one passes through; nor can men hear the voice of the cattle. Both the birds of the sky and the animals have fled, they are gone."
На горах восприимите плачь и тужение и на стезях пустыни рыдание, яко оскудеша, за еже не быти человеком преходящым: не слышаша гласа обитания от птиц небесных и даже до скотов, ужасошася, отидоша.
11 "I will make Jerusalem heaps, a dwelling place of jackals; and I will make the cities of Judah a desolation, without inhabitant."
И дам Иерусалим в преселение и в жилище змием и грады Иудины положу в разорение, яко не будет обитающаго.
12 "Who is the wise man, that may understand this? Who is he to whom the mouth of the LORD has spoken, that he may declare it? Why is the land perished and burned up like a wilderness, so that none passes through?"
Кто муж премудр, и уразумеет сие? И к немуже слово уст Господних, да возвестит вам, чесо ради погибе земля, сожжена есть яко пустыня, еяже никтоже проходит?
13 The LORD says, "Because they have forsaken my law which I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice, neither walked in it,
И рече Господь ко мне: понеже оставиша закон Мой, егоже дах пред лицем их, и не послушаша гласа Моего и не ходиша по нему,
14 but have walked after the stubbornness of their own heart, and after the Baals, which their fathers taught them;
но поидоша по изволению сердца своего лукаваго и вслед идолов, имже научиша их отцы их:
15 therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, 'Look, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.
сего ради тако глаголет Господь Сил, Бог Израилев: се, Аз напитаю люди сия теснотами и в питие дам им воду желчную,
16 I will scatter them also among the nations, whom neither they nor their fathers have known; and I will send the sword after them, until I have consumed them.'"
и расточу их во языки, ихже не знаша тии и отцы их, и послю на них мечь, дондеже истлятся.
17 Thus says the LORD of hosts, "Consider, and call for the mourning women, that they may come; and send for the skillful women, that they may come:"
Сия рече Господь Сил: призовите плачевниц, и да приидут, и ко женам премудрым послите, и да вещают
18 "and let them make haste, and take up a wailing for us, that our eyes may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with waters.
и да приимут над вами плачь, и да изведут очи ваши слезы, и вежди ваши да излиют воду:
19 For a voice of wailing is heard out of Zion, 'How are we ruined. We are greatly confounded, because we have forsaken the land, because they have cast down our dwellings.'"
зане глас плача слышан бысть во Сионе: како бедни быхом, постыждени зело, яко оставихом землю и отринухом жилища наша?
20 "Yet hear the word of the LORD, you women, and let your ear receive the word of his mouth; and teach your daughters wailing, and everyone her neighbor lamentation.
Темже слышите, жены, слово Господне, и приимите ушима вашима словеса уст Его, и научите дщери вашя рыданию, и каяждо искреннюю свою плачу:
21 'For death has come up into our windows, it is entered into our palaces; to cut off the children from outside, and the young men from the streets.'
понеже взыде смерть сквозе окна ваша и вниде в землю вашу погубити отрочата отвне и юношы от стогн.
22 Speak, 'Thus says the LORD, "The dead bodies of men shall fall as dung on the open field, and as the handful after the harvester; and none shall gather them."'"
(Глаголи: ) сия рече Господь: и будут мертвии человецы в пример на лицы поля земли вашея, яко сено созади жнущаго, и не будет собирающаго.
23 Thus says the LORD, "Do not let the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, do not let the rich man glory in his riches;
Тако глаголет Господь: да не хвалится мудрый мудростию своею, и да не хвалится крепкий крепостию своею, и да не хвалится богатый богатством своим:
24 but let him who boasts boast in this, that he has understanding, and knows me, that I am the LORD who exercises loving kindness, justice, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight," says the LORD.
но о сем да хвалится хваляйся, еже разумети и знати, яко Аз есмь Господь творяй милость и суд и правду на земли, яко в сих воля Моя, глаголет Господь.
25 "Look, the days come," says the LORD, "that I will punish all those who are circumcised in uncircumcision:
Се, дние грядут, глаголет Господь, и посещу на всех, иже обрезаную имут плоть свою:
26 Egypt, and Judah, and Edom, and the people of Ammon, and Moab, and all that have the corners of their hair cut off, who dwell in the wilderness; for all the nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in heart."
на Египет и на Идумею, и на Едом и на сыны Аммони, и на сыны Моавли и на всякаго остризающаго власы по лицу своему, обитающыя в пустыни, яко вси языцы необрезани плотию, весь же дом Израилев необрезани суть сердцы своими.
