Isaiah 40
1 "Comfort, comfort my people," says your God.
১তোমালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰে কৈছে, মোৰ লোকসকলৰ শান্ত্বনা হওক।
2 "Speak tenderly to Jerusalem; and call out to her that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned, that she has received of the LORD's hand double for all her sins."
২যিৰূচালেমক নম্রতাৰে কোৱা, আৰু তেওঁলৈ ঘোষনা কৰা, যে তেওঁৰ সংগ্রাম শেষ হ’ল, তেওঁৰ অপৰাধ ক্ষমা কৰা হ’ল, তেওঁৰ সকলো পাপৰ সলনি যিহোৱাৰ হাতৰ পৰা তেওঁ দুগুণ মঙ্গল পালে।
3 The voice of one who calls out in the wilderness, "Prepare the way of the LORD. Make his roads straight.
৩এটা মাতে চিঞৰিছে, মৰুপ্রান্তৰত যিহোৱাৰ পথ যুগুত কৰা, আমাৰ ঈশ্বৰৰ বাবে মৰুভূমিত এটি পোন ৰাজপথ তৈয়াৰ কৰা।”
4 Every valley will be filled, and every mountain and hill will be made low, and the uneven will be made level, and the rough places a plain.
৪প্ৰত্যেক উপত্যকা ওখ কৰা হ’ব; আৰু প্ৰত্যেক পৰ্ব্বত আৰু পাহাৰ সমান কৰা হ’ব; অসমতল ঠাই সমান কৰা হ’ব, খলাবমা মাটি সমান কৰা হ’ব;
5 And the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all humanity will see the salvation of God together; for the mouth of the LORD has spoken."
৫আৰু যিহোৱাৰ মহিমা প্ৰকাশ কৰা হ’ব, আৰু সকলো মৰ্ত্ত্যই একে সময়তে তাক দেখিব; কাৰণ যিহোৱাই নিজৰ মুখেৰে ইয়াকে ক’লে।
6 The voice of one saying, "Cry." And I said, "What shall I cry?" "All flesh is like grass, and all its glory is like the flower of the field.
৬এজনে কৈছে, “কান্দা।” আন এজনে উত্তৰ দিছে, “মই কিয় কান্দিম?” সকলো মাংসই তৃণ হ’য়, আৰু তেওঁৰ সকলো বিশ্ৱাসযোগ্য চুক্তি পথাৰৰ ফুলৰ দৰে।
7 The grass withers, the flower fades, because the LORD's breath blows on it. Surely the people are like grass.
৭যেতিয়া যিহোৱাৰ প্ৰশ্বাস-বায়ু তাৰ ওপৰত বলায় তেতিয়া ঘাঁহ শুকাই যায়, ফুল জঁয় পৰে; আৰু লোকসকল নিশ্চয় ঘাঁহ।
8 The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of the LORD stands forever."
৮ঘাঁহ শুকাই যায়, ফুল জয় পৰে, কিন্তু আমাৰ ঈশ্বৰৰ বাক্য অনন্ত কাললৈকে থাকে।
9 You who tell good news to Zion, go up on a high mountain. You who tell good news to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with strength. Lift it up. Do not be afraid. Say to the cities of Judah, "Look, your God."
৯হে চিয়োনৰ আগত শুভবাৰ্ত্তা প্ৰচাৰ কৰোঁতা লোক, ওখ পৰ্ব্বতলৈ উঠি যোৱা; যিৰূচালেমলৈ শুভবাৰ্ত্তা ঘোষণা কৰা, শক্তিৰে সৈতে জোৰেৰে ৰিঙিওৱা। চিঞৰি কান্দা, ভয় নকৰিবা। যিহূদাৰ নগৰবোৰক কোৱা, “এইয়া তোমালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ।”
10 Look, the LORD will come as a mighty one, and his arm will rule for him. Look, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.
১০চোৱা, প্ৰভু যিহোৱা জয়যুক্ত বীৰস্বৰূপে আহিছে, আৰু তেওঁ নিজ বাহুবলেৰে শাসন কৰিব। চোৱা তেওঁৰ পুৰস্কাৰ তেওঁৰ লগত আছে, তেওঁৰ প্রতিদান তেওঁৰ আগে আগে যায়।
11 He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will gather the lambs in his arm, and carry them in his bosom. He will gently lead those who have their young.
১১তেওঁ মেৰ-ছাগ ৰখীয়াৰ দৰে নিজৰ জাকক চৰাব, তেওঁ নিজৰ বাহুৰ তলত মেৰ-ছাগ পোৱালিক গোটাব, আৰু সিহঁতক হৃদয়ৰ কাষ চপায় কঢ়িয়াব আৰু সিহঁতৰ সৰুবোৰক মৰমেৰে প্রতিপালন কৰি চলাই নিব।
12 Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and marked off the sky with his span, and calculated the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?
১২কোনে নিজৰ হাতৰ তলুৱাত জলৰাশি জুখিছিল? আৰু কোনে আকাশ-মণ্ডল জুখিছিল? কোনে পৃথিবীৰ সমূদায় ধূলি দোনত ভৰাই জুখিছিল? কোনে পৰ্ব্বতবোৰক পাল্লাত বা পাহাৰবোৰক তুলাঁচনীত জুখিছিল?
13 Who has known the mind of the LORD, or who has instructed him as his counselor?
১৩কোনে যিহোৱাৰ আত্মাৰ তত্ত্ব নিৰূপণ কৰিছিল? বা কোনে তেওঁৰ পৰামৰ্শদাতা হৈ তেওঁক শিক্ষা দিছিল?
14 From whom did he take counsel with, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of justice, and taught him knowledge, and showed him the way of understanding? Or who has first given to him, and it will be repaid to him again?
১৪তেওঁ কাৰ পৰা পৰামৰ্শ পাইছিল? কোনে তেওঁক ন্যায় কার্য কৰিবলৈ শিকাইছিল? আৰু কোনে তেওঁক জ্ঞানৰ শিক্ষা দিছিল, আৰু তেওঁক বিবেচনাৰ পথ দেখুৱাইছিল?
15 Look, the nations are like a drop in a bucket, and are regarded as a speck of dust on a balance. Look, he lifts up the islands like a very little thing.
১৫চোৱা, দেশবাসীসকল কলহৰ গাত লাগি থকা পানীৰ কণিকাৰ দৰে আৰু তুলাচনীত লাগি থকা ধুলিৰ কণিকাৰ দৰে গণিত হয়; চোৱা, তেওঁ অতি ক্ষুদ্র বস্তুৰ দৰে দ্বীপবোৰক তোলে।
16 Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor its animals sufficient for a burnt offering.
১৬ইন্ধনৰ বাবে লিবানোন, নাইবা হোম বলিৰ বাবে অৰণ্যৰ জন্তুবোৰ যথেষ্ট নহয়।
17 All the nations are like nothing before him. They are regarded by him as less than nothing, and vanity.
১৭তেওঁৰ দৃষ্টিত সকলো দেশবাসী অপৰ্যাপ্ত; তেওঁৰ আগত তেওঁলোক একোৱে নহয় দৰে গণিত হয়।
18 To whom then will you liken God? Or what likeness will you compare to him?
১৮তেন্তে তোমালোকে কাৰ সৈতে ঈশ্বৰক তুলনা কৰিবা? বা তেওঁৰ লগত কোন মুৰ্ত্তিৰ উপমা দিবা?
19 A workman has cast an image, and the goldsmith overlays it with gold, and casts silver chains for it.
১৯এটা কটা মুৰ্ত্তি! এজন কৰ্মকাৰে নিজে তৈয়াৰ কৰে; সোণাৰীয়ে তাৰ ওপৰত সোণৰ পতা মাৰে, আৰু তাৰ বাবে ৰূপৰ শিকলি যুগুত কৰে।
20 He who is too impoverished for such an offering chooses a tree that will not rot. He seeks a skillful workman to set up an engraved image for him that will not be moved.
২০মানুহে উপহাৰ দিবলৈ নপচা কাঠ বাচি লৈ; পৰিব নোৱাৰা প্ৰতিমা নিজৰ বাবে যুগুত কৰিবলৈ নিপুণ শিল্পকাৰ বিচাৰে।
21 Haven't you known? Haven't you heard, yet? Haven't you been told from the beginning? Haven't you understood from the foundations of the earth?
২১তোমালোকে নাজানা নে? তোমালোকে শুনা নাই নে? আদিৰে পৰা তোমালোকক সম্বাদ দিয়া নাই নে? পৃথিবীৰ মূল স্থাপন কৰাৰে পৰা তোমালোকে বুজা নাই নে?
22 It is he who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in;
২২যি জনা পৃথিৱীৰ আকাশ মণ্ডলৰ ওপৰত বহি আছে, আৰু তেওঁৰ আগত তাৰ নিবাসীসকল ফৰিঙৰ দৰে, তেওঁ পৰ্দাৰ দৰে আকাশ মণ্ডল বিস্তাৰ কৰে, আৰু বাস কৰা তম্বুৰ দৰে তাক প্রসাৰিত কৰে।
23 who brings princes to nothing; who makes the judges of the earth meaningless.
২৩তেওঁ শাসনকৰ্ত্তাসকলক নথকাৰ দৰে লুপ্ত কৰে; আৰু পৃথিবীৰ শাসনকৰ্ত্তাসকলক অৰ্থহীনৰ দৰে কৰে;
24 They are planted scarcely. They are sown scarcely. Their stock has scarcely taken root in the ground. He merely blows on them, and they wither, and the whirlwind takes them away as stubble.
২৪চোৱা, তেওঁলোকে কেৱল ৰোৱে আৰু বয়, এনে কি, তেওঁলোকৰ মুঢ়ায়ো মাটিত কেৱল শিপা ধৰিছে, তেওঁ তেওঁলোকৰ ওপৰত ফু দিয়াৰ আগতে তেওঁলোক শুকাই যায়, আৰু তেওঁলোকক বা’মৰলী বতাহে মৰাৰ দৰে উৰুৱাই নিয়ে।
25 "To whom then will you liken me? Who is my equal?" says the Holy One.
২৫পবিত্ৰ জনাই কৈছে, “তেনেহ’লে তোমালোকে মোক কাৰ সৈতে উপমা দিলে মই তাৰ সদৃশ হ’ম?
26 Lift up your eyes on high, and see who has created these, who brings out their host by number. He calls them all by name; by the greatness of his might, and because he is strong in power, not one is lacking.
২৬আকাশলৈ চকু তুলি চোৱা, কোনে সৌ তৰাবোৰ সৃষ্টি কৰিলে? তেওঁ তেওঁলোকৰ সমস্ত সৃষ্টি পৰিচালনা কৰে, আৰু তেওঁ সেইবোৰক নাম কাঢ়ি মাতে, সেই জনাৰ অধিক সামৰ্থ আৰু বহু পৰাক্ৰমৰ কাৰণে সেইবোৰৰ কোনো এটাও অনুপস্থিত নাথাকে।
27 Why do you say, Jacob, and why do you assert, Israel, "My way is hidden from the LORD, and the justice due me is disregarded by my God?"
২৭মোৰ পথ যিহোৱাৰ পৰা গুপ্ত হৈ আছে, আৰু মোৰ গোচৰলৈ তেওঁ মন নিদিয়ে, হে যাকোব আৰু হে ইস্ৰায়েল, তুমি কিয় এনে কথা কৈছা?
28 And now, haven't you known? Haven't you heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the farthest parts of the earth, doesn't faint. He isn't weary. His understanding is unsearchable.
২৮তুমি জনা নাই নে? তুমি জানো শুনা নাই? অনাদি অনন্ত ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই, পৃথিৱীৰ সীমাবোৰ সৃষ্টিকৰ্ত্তা তেওঁ ক্লান্ত নহয়, আৰু ভাগৰ নাপায়, আৰু তেওঁৰ বুদ্ধি অগম্য।
29 He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might.
২৯তেওঁ ক্লান্ত হোৱা লোকক শক্তি দান কৰে, আৰু দুৰ্ব্বল হোৱা লোকক অধিক বল দান কৰে।
30 Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall;
৩০এনে কি ডেকাসকলে ক্লান্ত হৈ ভাগৰ পায়, আৰু যুৱকসকলে উজুতি খাই পৰে।
31 But those who wait for the LORD will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.
৩১কিন্তু যিসকলে যিহোৱালৈ অপেক্ষা কৰে, তেওঁলোকে নতুন বল পাব, তেওঁলোকে কুৰৰ পক্ষীৰ দৰে ডেউকাৰে ওপৰলৈ উৰিব, তেওঁলোকে দৌৰিব আৰু ক্লান্ত নহ’ব, তেওঁলোকে খোজ কাঢ়িব আৰু ভাগৰ নাপাব।
