Ezekiel 37
1 The hand of the LORD was upon me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones.
Veiu sobre mim a mão do Senhor, e o Senhor, pelo espirito, me levou e me poz no meio de um valle que estava cheio de ossos.
2 And he led me walk all around among them. And look, there were very many on the surface of the valley, and look, they were very dry.
E me fez passar por toda a roda d'elles; e eis que eram mui numerosos sobre a face do valle, e eis que estavam sequissimos.
3 And he said to me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" And I answered, "LORD, you know."
E me disse: Filho do homem, porventura viverão estes ossos? E eu disse: Senhor Jehovah, tu o sabes.
4 Then he said to me, "Prophesy over these bones, and tell them, 'Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.'
Então me disse: Prophetiza sobre estes ossos, e dize-lhes: Ossos seccos, ouvi a palavra do Senhor.
5 Thus says the LORD to these bones: 'Look, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you will live.
Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah a estes ossos: Eis que farei entrar em vós o espirito, e vivereis.
6 And I will put tendons on you, and make flesh grow on you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you will live. Then you will know that I am the LORD.'"
E porei nervos sobre vós, e farei crescer carne sobre vós, e sobre vós estenderei pelle, e porei em vós o espirito, e vivereis, e sabereis que eu sou o Senhor.
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a sound, and look, a rattling, and the bones came together, bone to bone.
Então prophetizei como se me deu ordem; e houve um arroido, prophetizando eu; e eis que se fez um reboliço, e os ossos se achegaram, cada osso ao seu osso.
8 And I watched, and look, there were tendons on them, and flesh grew and skin covered them. But there was no breath in them.
E olhei, e eis que vinham nervos sobre elles, e cresceu a carne, e estendeu-se a pelle sobre elles por cima; porém não havia n'elles espirito.
9 Then he said to me, "Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and tell the breath, 'Thus says the LORD: Come from the four winds, breath, and breathe on these corpses, that they may live.'"
E elle me disse: Prophetiza ao espirito, prophetiza, ó filho do homem, e dize ao espirito: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Vem dos quatro ventos, ó espirito, e assopra sobre estes mortos, e viverão.
10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived and stood up on their feet, an exceedingly great army.
E prophetizei como elle me deu ordem: então o espirito entrou n'elles, e viveram, e se pozeram em seus pés, um exercito grande em extremo.
11 Then he said to me, "Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Look, they say, 'Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost; we are completely cut off.'
Então me disse: Filho do homem, estes ossos são toda a casa de Israel: eis que dizem: Os nossos ossos se seccaram, e pereceu a nossa esperança: nós estamos cortados.
12 Therefore prophesy, and tell them, 'Thus says the LORD: Look, I will open your graves and will raise you from your graves, my people. And I will bring you into the land of Israel.
Portanto prophetiza, e dize-lhes: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Eis que eu abrirei as vossas sepulturas, e vos farei subir das vossas sepulturas, ó povo meu, e vos trarei á terra de Israel.
13 And you will know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves and raise you up out of your graves, my people.
E sabereis que eu sou o Senhor, quando eu abrir as vossas sepulturas, e vos fizer subir das vossas sepulturas, ó povo meu.
14 And I will put my breath in you and you will live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you will know that I am the LORD; I have spoken it and I will do it,' says the LORD."
E porei em vós o meu espirito, e vivereis, e vos metterei na vossa terra, e sabereis que eu, o Senhor, fallei isto, e o fiz, diz o Senhor.
15 And the word of the LORD came again to me, saying,
E veiu a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:
16 "And you, son of man, take one stick and write on it, 'For Judah, and the people of Israel associated with him.' Then take another stick and write on it, 'For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and all the house of Israel associated with him.'
Tu, pois, ó filho do homem, toma um pau, e escreve n'elle: A Judah e aos filhos de Israel, seus companheiros. E toma outro pau, e escreve n'elle: A José, o pau de Ephraim, e de toda a casa de Israel, seus companheiros.
17 Then join them one to another for yourself into one stick, that they may become one in your hand.
E ajunta um ao outro, para que sejam um pau; e serão unidos na tua mão.
18 And when your people ask you, saying, 'Will you not tell us what these things mean?'
E quando te fallarem os filhos do teu povo, dizendo: Porventura não nos declaras que significam estas coisas?
19 tell them, 'Thus says the LORD: "Look, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel associated with him, and I will put them on it, that is, on the stick of Judah, and make them into one stick, and they will be one in my hand."'
Então lhes dirás: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Eis que eu tomarei o pau de José, que esteve na mão de Ephraim, e das tribus de Israel, seus companheiros, e os ajuntarei com elle ao pau de Judah, e farei d'elles um só pau, e elles se farão um só na minha mão.
20 And the sticks on which you write on will be in your hand in front of them.
E os paus, sobre que houveres escripto, estarão na tua mão, perante os olhos d'elles.
21 "Then say to them, 'Thus says the LORD: Look, I am going to take the people of Israel from among the nations where they are gone, and will gather them from all around, and bring them into their own land.
Dize-lhes pois: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Eis que eu tomarei os filhos de Israel de entre as nações, para onde elles foram, e os congregarei de todas as partes, e os levarei á sua terra.
22 And I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel, and one king will rule over them, and they will no longer be two nations, and no longer be divided into two kingdoms.
E d'elles farei uma nação na terra, nos montes d'Israel, e todos elles terão por seu rei um só rei; e nunca mais serão duas nações; nunca mais para o futuro se dividirão em dois reinos.
23 And they will no longer defile themselves with their idols, or with their detestable things, or with any of their transgressions. But I will save them from all their unfaithfulness in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. And will they be my people, and I will be their God.
E nunca mais se contaminarão com os seus idolos, nem com as suas abominações, nem com as suas prevaricações, e os livrarei de todas as suas habitações, em que peccaram, e os purificarei: assim me serão por povo, e eu lhes serei por Deus.
24 "'"And my servant David will be king over them; and they will all have one shepherd. And they will walk in my ordinances, and observe my statutes, and do them.
E meu Servo David será rei sobre elles, e todos elles terão um só pastor; e andarão nos meus juizos, e guardarão os meus estatutos, e os farão.
25 And they will live in the land that I gave to Jacob my servant, in which your fathers lived; and they and their children and their children's children will live there forever, and David my servant will be their prince forever.
E habitarão na terra que dei a meu servo Jacob, em que habitaram vossos paes; e habitarão n'ella, elles e seus filhos, e os filhos de seus filhos, para sempre, e David, meu servo, será seu principe eternamente.
26 And I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant with them. And I will give to them and increase their numbers, and will set my sanctuary in their midst forever.
E farei com elles um concerto de paz; será com elles um concerto perpetuo; e os porei, e os multiplicarei, e porei o meu sanctuario no meio d'elles para sempre.
27 And my dwelling place will be with them; and I will be their God, and they will be my people.
E o meu tabernaculo estará com elles, e lhes serei por Deus e elles me serão por povo.
28 Then the nations will know that I am the LORD who sanctifies Israel, when my sanctuary is in their midst forever."'"
E as nações saberão que eu sou o Senhor que sanctifico a Israel, quando estiver o meu sanctuario no meio d'elles para sempre.
