Ezekiel 25

1 The word of the LORD came to me, saying,

I doszło do mnie słowo PANA mówiące:

2 "Son of man, set your face toward the people of Ammon, and prophesy against them:

Synu człowieczy, zwróć swoją twarz przeciwko Ammonitom i prorokuj przeciwko nim.

3 and tell the people of Ammon, 'Hear the word of the LORD: Thus says the LORD, "Because you said, 'Aha,' against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was made desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity:

Powiedz Ammonitom: Słuchajcie słowa Pana BOGA. Tak mówi Pan BÓG: Ponieważ mówiłeś: Ha! na moją świątynię, gdy została zbezczeszczona, i na ziemię Izraela, gdy była spustoszona, i na dom Judy, gdy poszedł w niewolę;

4 therefore, look, I will deliver you to the people of the east for a possession, and they shall set their encampments in you, and make their dwellings in you; they shall eat your fruit, and they shall drink your milk.

Oto wydam cię w posiadanie narodom Wschodu. Pobudują swoje pałace u ciebie i urządzą u ciebie swoje mieszkania. Będą jeść twoje plony i będą pić twoje mleko.

5 I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the people of Ammon a resting place for flocks: and you shall know that I am the LORD."

I uczynię z Rabby legowisko dla wielbłądów, a z [miast] Ammonitów – legowisko dla trzód. I poznacie, że ja jestem PANEM.

6 For thus says the LORD: "Because you have clapped your hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced with all the despite of your soul against the land of Israel;

Tak bowiem mówi Pan BÓG: Ponieważ klaskałeś rękami, tupałeś nogami i cieszyłeś się w sercu z całą pogardą wobec ziemi Izraela;

7 therefore, look, I have stretched out my hand on you, and will deliver you for a spoil to the nations; and I will cut you off from the peoples, and I will cause you to perish out of the countries: I will destroy you; and you shall know that I am the LORD."'"

Oto wyciągnę swą rękę przeciwko tobie i wydam cię na łup poganom; wytnę cię spośród narodów, wytracę cię z ziem i wyniszczę cię. I poznasz, że ja jestem PANEM.

8 "Thus says the LORD: 'Because Moab and Seir say, "Look, the house of Judah is like all the nations";

Tak mówi Pan BÓG: Ponieważ Moab i Seir mówią: Oto dom Judy jest jak wszystkie inne narody;

9 therefore, look, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and Kiriathaim,

Dlatego odsłonię zbocze Moabu od miast, od jego granicznych miast, [które są] ozdobą ziemi: Bet-Jeszimot, Baal-Meon i Kiriataim;

10 to the people of the east, to go against the people of Ammon; and I will give them for a possession, that the people of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations.

Przed narodami Wschodu wraz z Ammonitami; dam je w posiadanie, aby nie wspominano Ammonitów między narodami.

11 and I will execute judgments on Moab; and they shall know that I am the LORD.'"

I dokonam sądów nad Moabem, i poznają, że ja jestem PANEM.

12 "Thus says the LORD: 'Because Edom has dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended, and revenged himself on them';

Tak mówi Pan BÓG: Ponieważ Edom srodze się mścił nad domem Judy i ciężko zawinił, mszcząc się nad nim;

13 therefore thus says the LORD, 'I will stretch out my hand on Edom, and will cut off man and animal from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; even to Dedan shall they fall by the sword.

Tak mówi Pan BÓG: Wyciągnę też swoją rękę na [ziemię] Edomu i wytracę z niej ludzi i zwierzęta, i zamienię ją w pustynię; od Temanu aż do Dedanu polegną od miecza.

14 I will lay my vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel; and they shall do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath; and they shall know my vengeance, says the LORD.'"

I dokonam swojej zemsty na Edomie przez ręce mego ludu Izraela, a postąpią z Edomem według mojej zapalczywości i według mojego gniewu. I poznają moją pomstę, mówi Pan BÓG.

15 "Thus says the LORD: 'Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with despite of soul to destroy with perpetual enmity;

Tak mówi Pan BÓG: Ponieważ Filistyni się mścili i dokonali zemsty złośliwym sercem, aby prowadzić do zguby z powodu odwiecznej nieprzyjaźni;

16 therefore thus says the LORD, Look, I will stretch out my hand on the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.

Dlatego tak mówi Pan BÓG: Oto wyciągnę swoją rękę na Filistynów, wykorzenię Keretytów i wytracę resztkę wybrzeża morskiego.

17 I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful rebukes; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall lay my vengeance on them.'"

I dokonam na nich wielkiej pomsty, karząc [ich] w zapalczywości; i poznają, że ja jestem PANEM, gdy wywrę na nich swoją pomstę.
