Exodus 28
1 "Bring Aaron your brother, and his sons with him, near to you from among the children of Israel, that he may minister to me in the priest's office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron's sons.
൧നിന്റെ സഹോദരനായ അഹരോനെയും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും എനിക്ക് പുരോഹിതശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന് യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളുടെ ഇടയിൽനിന്ന് നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുത്തുക; അഹരോനെയും അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായ നാദാബ്, അബീഹൂ, എലെയാസാർ, ഈഥാമാർ എന്നിവരെയും തന്നെ.
2 You shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, for glory and for beauty.
൨നിന്റെ സഹോദരനായ അഹരോന് മഹത്വത്തിനും അലങ്കാരത്തിനും വേണ്ടി വിശുദ്ധവസ്ത്രം ഉണ്ടാക്കണം.
3 You shall speak to all who are wise-hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they make Aaron's garments to sanctify him, that he may minister to me in the priest's office.
൩അഹരോൻ എനിക്ക് പുരോഹിതശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം അവനെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണ്ടതിന് അവന് വസ്ത്രം ഉണ്ടാക്കണമെന്ന് ഞാൻ ജ്ഞാനാത്മാവുകൊണ്ട് നിറച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന സകലജ്ഞാനികളോടും നീ പറയണം.
4 These are the garments which they shall make: a breastplate, and an ephod, and a robe, and a coat of checker work, a turban, and a sash: and they shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, and his sons, that he may minister to me in the priest's office.
൪അവർ ഉണ്ടാക്കേണ്ട വസ്ത്രങ്ങൾ: പതക്കം, ഏഫോദ്, നീളക്കുപ്പായം, ചിത്രത്തയ്യലുള്ള നിലയങ്കി, തലപ്പാവ്, നടുക്കെട്ട് എന്നിവയാണ്. നിന്റെ സഹോദരനായ അഹരോൻ എനിക്ക് പുരോഹിതശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന് അവർ അവനും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർക്കും വിശുദ്ധവസ്ത്രം ഉണ്ടാക്കണം.
5 They shall take the gold, and the blue, and the purple, and the scarlet, and the fine linen.
൫അതിന് പൊന്ന്, നീലനൂൽ, ധൂമ്രനൂൽ, ചുവപ്പുനൂൽ, പിരിച്ച പഞ്ഞിനൂൽ എന്നിവ എടുക്കണം.
6 "They shall make the ephod of gold, of blue, and purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen, the work of the skillful workman.
൬പൊന്ന്, നീലനൂൽ, ധൂമ്രനൂൽ, ചുവപ്പുനൂൽ, പിരിച്ച പഞ്ഞിനൂൽ എന്നിവകൊണ്ട് നെയ്ത്തുകാരന്റെ ചിത്രപ്പണിയായി ഏഫോദ് ഉണ്ടാക്കണം.
7 It shall have two shoulder straps joined to the two ends of it, that it may be joined together.
൭അതിന്റെ രണ്ട് അറ്റത്തോട് ചേർന്നതായി രണ്ട് തോൾപ്പട്ട ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കണം. അത് തമ്മിൽ ബന്ധിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കണം.
8 The skillfully woven band, which is on it, that is on him, shall be like its work and of the same piece; of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.
൮അത് കെട്ടിമുറുക്കുവാൻ ഏഫോദ് പോലെ ചിത്രപ്പണിയുള്ള നടുക്കെട്ട് വേണം. അതിന്റെ പണിപോലെ പൊന്ന്, നീലനൂൽ, ധൂമ്രനൂൽ, ചുവപ്പുനൂൽ, പിരിച്ച പഞ്ഞിനൂൽ എന്നിവകൊണ്ട് ആയിരിക്കണം.
9 You shall take two onyx stones, and engrave on them the names of the sons of Israel:
൯അത് കൂടാതെ രണ്ട് ഗോമേദകക്കല്ല് എടുത്ത് അവയിൽ യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളുടെ പേര് കൊത്തണം.
10 six of their names on the one stone, and the names of the six that remain on the other stone, in the order of their birth.
൧൦ആറ് പേരുകൾ ഒരു കല്ലിലും ശേഷമുള്ള ആറ് പേരുകൾ മറ്റേ കല്ലിലും അവരുടെ ജനനക്രമത്തിൽ ആയിരിക്കണം.
11 With the work of an engraver in stone, like the engravings of a signet, you shall engrave the two stones, according to the names of the sons of Israel: you shall make them to be enclosed in settings of gold.
൧൧രത്നശില്പി മുദ്ര കൊത്തുന്നതുപോലെ രണ്ട് കല്ലിലും യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളുടെ പേര് കൊത്തണം; അവ പൊൻ തടങ്ങളിൽ പതിക്കണം;
12 You shall put the two stones on the shoulder straps of the ephod, to be stones of memorial for the sons of Israel: and Aaron shall bear their names before the LORD on his two shoulders for a memorial.
൧൨കല്ല് രണ്ടും ഏഫോദിന്റെ തോൾപ്പട്ടയുടെമേൽ യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളുടെ ഓർമ്മയ്ക്കായി വെക്കണം; അഹരോൻ യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ അവരുടെ പേരുകൾ ഓർമ്മയ്ക്കായി തന്റെ രണ്ട് ചുമലിന്മേലും വഹിക്കണം.
13 You shall make settings of gold,
൧൩പൊന്ന് കൊണ്ട് തടങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കണം.
14 and two chains of pure gold; you shall make them like cords of braided work: and you shall put the braided chains on the settings.
൧൪തങ്കംകൊണ്ട് പിരിച്ചെടുത്ത ചരടുകൾ പോലെ രണ്ട് സരപ്പളി നിർമ്മിച്ച് അവ തടങ്ങളിൽ ചേർക്കണം.
15 "You shall make a breastplate of judgment, the work of the skillful workman; like the work of the ephod you shall make it; of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, you shall make it.
൧൫ന്യായവിധിപ്പതക്കം ചിത്രപ്പണികളോടുകൂടി ഉണ്ടാക്കണം; അത് ഏഫോദിന്റെ പണിപോലെ പൊന്ന്, നീലനൂൽ, ധൂമ്രനൂൽ, ചുവപ്പുനൂൽ, പിരിച്ച പഞ്ഞിനൂൽ എന്നിവകൊണ്ട് ഉണ്ടാക്കണം.
16 It shall be square and folded double; a span shall be its length of it, and a span its breadth.
൧൬അത് സമചതുരവും രണ്ട് മടക്കുള്ളതും ഒരു ചാൺ നീളമുള്ളതും ഒരു ചാൺ വീതിയുള്ളതും ആയിരിക്കണം.
17 You shall set in it settings of stones, four rows of stones: a row of ruby, topaz, and beryl shall be the first row;
൧൭അതിൽ നാല് നിര കല്ല് പതിക്കണം; താമ്രമണി, പീതരത്നം, മരതകം എന്നിവ ഒന്നാമത്തെ നിര.
18 and the second row a turquoise, a sapphire, and an emerald;
൧൮രണ്ടാമത്തെ നിര: മാണിക്യം, നീലക്കല്ല്, വജ്രം.
19 and the third row a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst;
൧൯മൂന്നാമത്തെ നിര: പത്മരാഗം, വൈഡൂര്യം, സുഗന്ധിക്കല്ല്.
20 and the fourth row a chrysolite, an onyx, and a jasper: they shall be enclosed in gold in their settings.
൨൦നാലാമത്തെ നിര: പുഷ്പരാഗം, ഗോമേദകം, സൂര്യകാന്തം. അവ അതത് തടത്തിൽ പൊന്നിൽ പതിച്ചിരിക്കണം.
21 The stones shall be according to the names of the sons of Israel, twelve, according to their names; like the engravings of a signet, everyone according to his name, they shall be for the twelve tribes.
൨൧ഇവ ക്രമമായി യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളുടെ പേരുകൾ കൊത്തിയ പന്ത്രണ്ട് കല്ലുകൾ ആയിരിക്കണം; പന്ത്രണ്ട് ഗോത്രങ്ങളുടെയും പേരുകൾ അവയിൽ മുദ്രയായി കൊത്തിയിരിക്കണം.
22 You shall make on the breastplate chains like cords, of braided work of pure gold.
൨൨പതക്കത്തിന് തങ്കംകൊണ്ട് പിരിച്ചെടുത്ത ചരടുകൾ പോലെ രണ്ട് സരപ്പളി നിർമ്മിക്കണം.
23 You shall make on the breastplate two rings of gold, and shall put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.
൨൩പതക്കത്തിന് പൊന്നുകൊണ്ട് രണ്ട് വളയങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കി പതക്കത്തിന്റെ രണ്ട് അറ്റത്തും വെക്കണം.
24 You shall put the two braided chains of gold in the two rings at the ends of the breastplate.
൨൪പൊന്നുകൊണ്ട് പിരിച്ചെടുത്ത ചരടുകൾ പോലെയുള്ള ചങ്ങലകൾ രണ്ടും പതക്കത്തിന്റെ അറ്റങ്ങളിൽ ഉള്ള വളയങ്ങൾ രണ്ടിലും കൊളുത്തേണം.
25 The other two ends of the two braided chains you shall put on the two settings, and put them on the shoulder straps of the ephod in its forepart.
൨൫പിരിച്ചെടുത്ത രണ്ട് ചങ്ങലകളുടെയും മറ്റേഅറ്റം രണ്ടും രണ്ട് തടത്തിൽ കൊളുത്തി ഏഫോദിന്റെ തോൾപ്പട്ടയുടെ മുൻഭാഗത്ത് വെക്കണം.
26 You shall make two rings of gold, and you shall put them on the two ends of the breastplate, on its edge, which is toward the side of the ephod inward.
൨൬പൊന്നുകൊണ്ട് രണ്ട് വളയങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കി പതക്കത്തിന്റെ മറ്റെ രണ്ട് അറ്റത്തും ഏഫോദിന്റെ കീഴറ്റത്തിന് നേരെ അതിന്റെ വിളുമ്പിൽ അകത്തായി വെക്കണം.
27 You shall make two rings of gold, and shall put them on the two shoulder straps of the ephod underneath, in its forepart, close by its coupling, above the skillfully woven band of the ephod.
൨൭പൊന്നുകൊണ്ട് വേറെ രണ്ട് വളയങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കി, ഏഫോദിന്റെ മുൻഭാഗത്ത് അതിന്റെ രണ്ട് തോൾപ്പട്ടയുടെ താഴെ അതിന്റെ ചേർപ്പിനരികെ ഏഫോദിന്റെ നടുക്കെട്ടിന് മേലായി വെക്കണം.
28 They shall bind the breastplate by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it may be on the skillfully woven band of the ephod, and that the breastplate may not swing out from the ephod.
൨൮പതക്കം ഏഫോദിന്റെ നടുക്കെട്ടിന് മേലായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിനും ഏഫോദിൽ ആടാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിനും അതിന്റെ വളയങ്ങളാൽ ഏഫോദിന്റെ വളയങ്ങളോട് നീലനാടകൊണ്ട് കെട്ടണം.
29 Aaron shall bear the names of the sons of Israel on the breastplate for judging over his heart, when he goes in to the holy place, as a continual reminder before God.
൨൯അങ്ങനെ അഹരോൻ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽ കടക്കുമ്പോൾ ന്യായവിധിപ്പതക്കത്തിൽ യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളുടെ പേരുകൾ എപ്പോഴും യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ ഓർമ്മയ്ക്കായിട്ട് തന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിന്മേൽ വഹിക്കണം.
30 You are to put in the breastplate for judging the Urim and the Thummim; and they are to be over Aaron's heart, when he goes in before the LORD. And Aaron will carry the means to make decisions for the children of Israel over his heart before the LORD continually.
൩൦ന്യായവിധിപ്പതക്കത്തിനകത്ത് ഊറീമും തുമ്മീമും വെക്കണം; അഹരോൻ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധാനത്തിൽ കടക്കുമ്പോൾ അവന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിന്മേൽ ഇരിക്കണം; അഹരോൻ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കുള്ള ന്യായവിധി എപ്പോഴും യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ തന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിന്മേൽ വഹിക്കണം.
31 "You shall make the robe of the ephod all of blue.
൩൧ഏഫോദിന്റെ അങ്കി മുഴുവനും നീലനൂൽകൊണ്ട് ഉണ്ടാക്കണം.
32 It shall have a hole for the head in its midst: it shall have a binding of woven work around its hole, as it were the hole of a coat of mail, that it not be torn.
൩൨അതിന്റെ നടുവിൽ തല കടത്തുവാൻ ഒരു ദ്വാരം വേണം; ദ്വാരത്തിന് നെയ്ത്തുപണിയായ ഒരു നാട ചുറ്റിലും വേണം; അത് കീറിപ്പോകാതിരിക്കുവാൻ കവചത്തിന്റെ ദ്വാരംപോലെ അതിന് ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കണം.
33 On its hem you shall make pomegranates of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, around its hem; and bells of gold between and around them:
൩൩നീലനൂൽ, ധൂമ്രനൂൽ, ചുവപ്പുനൂൽ എന്നിവകൊണ്ട് അതിന്റെ വിളുമ്പിൽ ചുറ്റും മാതളപ്പഴങ്ങളും അവയുടെ ഇടയിൽ പൊന്നുകൊണ്ട് മണികളും ഉണ്ടാക്കണം.
34 a golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, around the hem of the robe.
൩൪അങ്കിയുടെ വിളുമ്പിൽ ചുറ്റും ഒരു പൊന്മണി ഒരു മാതളപ്പഴം, ഒരു പൊന്മണി, ഒരു മാതളപ്പഴം, ഇങ്ങനെ വേണം.
35 It shall be on Aaron to minister: and its sound shall be heard when he goes in to the holy place before the LORD, and when he comes out, that he not die.
൩൫അഹരോൻ ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ അത് ധരിക്കണം. യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽ കടക്കുമ്പോഴും പുറത്ത് വരുമ്പോഴും അവൻ മരിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന് അതിന്റെ ശബ്ദം കേൾക്കണം.
36 "You shall make a plate of pure gold, and engrave on it, like the engravings of a signet, 'HOLY TO THE LORD.'
൩൬തങ്കംകൊണ്ട് ഒരു തകിട് ഉണ്ടാക്കി അതിൽ “യഹോവയ്ക്ക് വിശുദ്ധം” എന്ന് മുദ്ര കൊത്തണം.
37 You shall put it on a lace of blue, and it shall be on the sash; on the front of the sash it shall be.
൩൭അത് തലപ്പാവിൽ നീലച്ചരടുകൊണ്ട് കെട്ടെണം; അത് തലപ്പാവിന്റെ മുൻഭാഗത്ത് ഇരിക്കണം.
38 It shall be on Aaron's forehead, and Aaron shall bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall make holy in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always on his forehead, that they may be accepted before the LORD.
൩൮യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കൾ തങ്ങളുടെ സകല വിശുദ്ധവഴിപാടുകളിലും ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്ന വിശുദ്ധവസ്തുക്കളുടെ കുറ്റം അഹരോൻ വഹിക്കേണ്ടതിന് അത് അഹരോന്റെ നെറ്റിയിൽ ഇരിക്കണം; യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ അവർക്ക് പ്രസാദം ലഭിക്കേണ്ടതിന് അത് എപ്പോഴും അവന്റെ നെറ്റിയിൽ ഇരിക്കണം.
39 You shall weave the coat in checker work of fine linen, and you shall make a turban of fine linen, and you shall make a sash, the work of the embroiderer.
൩൯പഞ്ഞിനൂൽകൊണ്ട് ഉള്ളങ്കിയും ചിത്രപ്പണിയായി നെയ്യണം; പഞ്ഞിനൂൽകൊണ്ട് തലപ്പാവും ഉണ്ടാക്കണം; നടുക്കെട്ടും ചിത്രത്തയ്യൽപണിയായിട്ട് ഉണ്ടാക്കണം.
40 "You shall make coats for Aaron's sons, and you shall make sashes for them and you shall make headbands for them, for glory and for beauty.
൪൦അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർക്ക് മഹത്വത്തിനും അലങ്കാരത്തിനും വേണ്ടി അങ്കി, നടുക്കെട്ട്, തലപ്പാവ് എന്നിവ ഉണ്ടാക്കണം.
41 You shall put them on Aaron your brother, and on his sons with him, and shall anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister to me in the priest's office.
൪൧അവ നിന്റെ സഹോദരനായ അഹരോനെയും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും ധരിപ്പിക്കണം; അവർ എനിക്ക് പുരോഹിതശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന് അവരെ അഭിഷേകവും കരപൂരണവും ചെയ്ത് ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കണം.
42 You shall make them linen breeches to cover the flesh of their nakedness; from the waist even to the thighs they shall reach:
൪൨അവരുടെ നഗ്നത മറയ്ക്കുവാൻ അവർക്ക് ചണനൂൽകൊണ്ട് കാൽചട്ടയും ഉണ്ടാക്കണം; അത് അര തുടങ്ങി തുടവരെ എത്തണം.
43 They shall be on Aaron, and on his sons, when they go in to the Tent of Meeting, or when they come near to the altar to minister in the holy place; that they do not bear iniquity, and die: it shall be a statute forever to him and to his descendants after him.
൪൩അഹരോനും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽ ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യുവാൻ സമാഗമനകൂടാരത്തിൽ കടക്കുമ്പോഴോ യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെല്ലുമ്പോഴോ കുറ്റം വഹിച്ച് മരിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന് അവർ അത് ധരിക്കണം. അവനും അവന്റെ സന്തതിക്കും അത് എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടം ആയിരിക്കണം.
