< Ecclesiastes 2 >

1 I said in my heart, "Come now, I will test you with mirth: therefore enjoy pleasure;" and look, this also was vanity.
Namilobelaki: « Yaka sik’oyo; nakomekisa yo bilengi mpo ete ozala moto ya esengo! » Nzokande, yango mpe ezalaki kaka pamba.
2 I said of laughter, "It is foolishness;" and of mirth, "What does it accomplish?"
Na tina na koseka, nalobaki: « Ezali na yango kaka bozoba! » Bongo na tina na elengi, nalobaki: « Esalaka nini? »
3 I searched in my heart how to cheer my flesh with wine, my heart yet guiding me with wisdom, and how to lay hold of folly, until I might see what it was good for the sons of men that they should do under heaven all the days of their lives.
Wana motema na ngai ezalaki nanu kokamba ngai na bwanya, nazwaki mokano ya komipesa na masanga ya vino mpe na makambo ya bozoba. Nazalaki nde na posa ya kososola bolamu nini moto akoki kozwa na kosala bongo na se ya moyi, na mwa mikolo ya bomoi na ye.
4 I made myself great works. I built myself houses. I planted myself vineyards.
Nazwaki mokano ya kosalisa misala minene: namitongelaki bandako minene mpe namilonelaki bilanga ya vino mpo na bomoi na ngai;
5 I made myself gardens and parks, and I planted trees in them of all kinds of fruit.
nasalaki bilanga mpe nabongisaki bisika mpo na kolona banzete ya ndenge na ndenge, oyo ebotaka bambuma;
6 I made myself pools of water, to water from it the forest where trees were reared.
natimolaki mpo na ngai moko, mabulu minene ya mayi mpo na kosopela banzete ya mike mayi.
7 I bought male servants and female servants, and had servants born in my house. I also had great possessions of herds and flocks, above all who were before me in Jerusalem;
Nasombaki bawumbu ya mibali mpe ya basi; kobakisa na motango ya bawumbu mosusu oyo babotamaki kati na ndako na ngai. Nazalaki mpe na bangombe, bantaba mpe bameme ebele koleka bakonzi nyonso oyo bazalaki na Yelusalemi liboso na ngai.
8 I also gathered silver and gold for myself, and the treasure of kings and of the provinces. I got myself male and female singers, and the delights of the sons of men—musical instruments, and that of all sorts.
Nakongolaki mpo na ngai moko palata mpe wolo oyo ewutaki na bomengo ya bakonzi mpe ya bituka; nazwaki mpo na ngai bayembi ya basi mpe ya mibali, mpe oyo esepelisaka makasi mibali: mwasi mpe basi ebele ya kitoko.
9 So I was great, and increased more than all who were before me in Jerusalem. My wisdom also remained with me.
Nakomaki moto monene koleka bakonzi nyonso oyo bazalaki na Yelusalemi liboso na ngai; kasi atako bongo, bwanya ezalaki kaka kotambolisa ngai.
10 Whatever my eyes desired, I did not keep from them. I did not withhold my heart from any joy, for my heart rejoiced because of all my labor, and this was my portion from all my labor.
Napimelaki miso na ngai eloko moko te oyo elulaki, napimelaki motema na ngai esengo moko te. Motema na ngai esepelaki na misala na ngai nyonso, mpe yango ezalaki lifuti ya mosala na ngai nyonso.
11 Then I looked at all the works that my hands had worked, and at the labor that I had labored to do; and look, all was vanity and a chasing after wind, and there was no profit under the sun.
Boye, tango natali misala nyonso oyo maboko na ngai esalaki mpe pasi nyonso oyo namonaki mpo na kokokisa yango, namoni ete nyonso wana ezalaki kaka pamba, ezali lokola moto azali kolanda mopepe, ezali na yango na litomba moko te na se ya moyi.
12 I turned myself to consider wisdom, madness, and folly. For what can the man who comes after the king do? Just that which he has already done.
Bongo, nabalolaki makanisi na ngai mpo na koyekola bwanya, bozoba mpe bolema. Eloko nini mokitani ya mokonzi akoki kosala, oyo eleki oyo esila kosalema?
13 Then I saw that wisdom excels folly, as far as light excels darkness.
Namonaki ete bwanya ezali malamu koleka bozoba, ndenge pole ezali malamu koleka molili.
14 The wise man's eyes are in his head, and the fool walks in darkness—and yet I perceived that one event happens to them all.
Moto ya bwanya ayebi epai azali kokende, kasi zoba atambolaka na molili; kasi nasosoli likambo moko: suka na bango mibale ekozala kaka ndenge moko.
15 Then said I in my heart, "As it happens to the fool, so will it happen even to me; and why was I then more wise?" Then said I in my heart that this also is vanity.
Namilobelaki: « Suka ya zoba ekozala ndenge moko kaka na suka na ngai; sik’oyo, litomba nini ezali na moto ya kozala na bwanya mingi? » Namilobelaki: « Oyo mpe ezali kaka pamba. »
16 For of the wise man, even as of the fool, there is no memory for ever, seeing that in the days to come all will have been long forgotten. Indeed, the wise man must die just like the fool.
Pamba te ezala moto ya bwanya to zoba, bakotikala kokanisa bango tango molayi te; mpe na mikolo ekoya, bato bakobosana bango mibale. Moto ya bwanya mpe akokufa lokola moto ya zoba.
17 So I hated life, because the work that is worked under the sun was grievous to me; for all is vanity and a chasing after wind.
Boye, nayinaki bomoi, pamba te misala oyo esalemaka na se ya moyi ezali mabe mpo na ngai. Nyonso wana ezali pamba, ezali lokola moto azali kolanda mopepe.
18 I hated all my labor in which I labored under the sun, seeing that I must leave it to the man who comes after me.
Nayinaki biloko nyonso oyo namonelaki pasi na se ya moyi, pamba te nakotika yango epai ya moto oyo akoya sima na ngai.
19 Who knows whether he will be a wise man or a fool? Yet he will have rule over all of my labor in which I have labored, and in which I have shown myself wise under the sun. This also is vanity.
Bongo, nani ayebi soki moto yango akozala moto ya bwanya to zoba? Nzokande, ye nde akozala na bokonzi na likolo ya misala nyonso oyo nabimiselaki motoki mpe mayele na ngai na se ya tango. Yango mpe ezali kaka pamba.
20 Therefore I began to cause my heart to despair concerning all the labor in which I had labored under the sun.
Bongo, motema na ngai ekomaki kobungisa elikya likolo ya misala makasi oyo nazalaki kosala na se ya moyi.
21 For there is a man whose labor is with wisdom, with knowledge, and with skillfulness; yet he shall leave it for his portion to a man who has not labored for it. This also is vanity and a great evil.
Pamba te moto akoki kosala mosala na ye na bwanya, na boyebi mpe na ndenge esengeli penza; kasi akotika nyonso oyo azali na yango epai ya moto oyo amonelaki yango pasi te; yango mpe ezali pamba mpe mabe makasi.
22 For what has a man of all his labor, and of the striving of his heart, in which he labors under the sun?
Litomba nini moto akoki kozwa na misala nyonso oyo asali mpe amonelaka pasi na se ya moyi?
23 For all his days are sorrows, and his travail is grief; yes, even in the night his heart takes no rest. This also is vanity.
Mikolo nyonso ya mosala na ye ezali kaka pasi mpe komitungisa; ezala na butu, makanisi na ye ezalaka na kimia te; oyo mpe ezali kaka pamba.
24 There is nothing better for a man than that he should eat and drink, and make his soul enjoy good in his labor. This also I saw, that it is from the hand of God.
Eloko eleki malamu mpo na moto ezali kaka kolia, komela mpe kosepela na mosala na ye. Namoni ete oyo mpe ewuti na loboko na Nzambe;
25 For who can eat, or who can have enjoyment, apart from him?
pamba te soki Nzambe azalaki te, nani akoki kolia mpe kosepela?
26 For to the man who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy; but to the sinner he gives travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him who pleases God. This also is vanity and a chasing after wind.
Nzambe apesaka bwanya, mayele mpe esengo na moto oyo asepelisaka Ye; kasi apesaka mosala ya kosangisa mpe ya konduka bomengo epai ya moto oyo asalaka masumu mpo ete atika yango na maboko ya moto oyo asepelisaka Nzambe. Wana mpe ezali pamba, ezali lokola moto azali kolanda mopepe.
