< 2 Samuel 6 >
1 And David again gathered together all the chosen men of Israel, thirty thousand.
Ary novorin’ i Davida indray ny lehilahy voafantina rehetra tamin’ ny Isiraely, dia telo alina.
2 And David arose, and went with all the people who were with him to Baalah, that is, Kiriath Jearim of Judah, to bring up from there the ark of God, which is called there by the name of the LORD enthroned on the cherubim.
Dia niainga Davida sy ny olona rehetra izay nanaraka azy ka niala tany Bala-joda hampakatra ny fiaran’ Andriamanitra izay niantsoana ny anaran’ i Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro, Izay mipetraka amin’ ny kerobima.
3 And they set the ark of God on a new cart, and brought it out of the house of Abinadab that was on the hill. And Uzza and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, guided the cart
Ary nataony teo amin’ ny sariety vaovao ny fiaran’ Andriamanitra ka nentiny avy tao an-tranon’ i Abinadaba teo an-kavoana; ary Oza sy Ahio, zanak’ i Abinadaba, no nampandeha ny sariety vaovao.
4 with the ark; and Ahio was walking in front of the ark.
Ary dia nentiny niala tao an-tranon’ i Abinadaba teo ankavoana niaraka tamin’ ny fiaran’ Andriamanitra izany; ary Ahio nandeha teo alohan’ ny fiara.
5 And David and the children of Israel played before the LORD with all their strength and with songs, and with harps, and with stringed instruments, and with tambourines, and with castanets, and with cymbals.
Ary Davida sy ny taranak’ Isiraely rehetra nitsinjaka teo anatrehan’ i Jehovah tamin’ ny karazan’ ny zava-maneno rehetra natao tamin’ ny hazo kypreso, dia tamin’ ny lokanga sy ny valiha sy ny ampongatapaka sy ny korintsana ary ny kipantsona.
6 And when they came to the threshing floor of Nodan, Uzza reached out his hand to the ark of God, to steady it; for the oxen stumbled.
Ary nony tonga teo amin’ ny famoloan’ i Nakona izy, dia naninjitra ny tanany tamin’ ny fiaran’ Andriamanitra Oza ka nihazona azy, satria nazeran’ ny omby ny fiara.
7 And the LORD became angry at Uzza; and God struck him there for his error; and there he died before God.
Dia nirehitra tamin’ i Oza ny fahatezeran’ i Jehovah; ary namely azy teo Andriamanitra noho ny fahadisoany, ka dia maty teo anilan’ ny fiaran’ Andriamanitra izy.
8 And David was displeased, because the LORD had broken forth on Uzza; and he called that place Perez Uzza, to this day.
Ary dia tezitra Davida noho ny namelezan’ i Jehovah an’ i Oza, ka dia nataony hoe Perez-oza ny anaran’ izany tany izany mandraka androany.
9 And David was afraid of the LORD that day; and he said, "How can the ark of God come to me?" Now the ark of the LORD arrived,
Ary Davida natahotra an’ i Jehovah tamin’ izany andro izany ka nanao hoe: Nahoana no ho entina atỳ amiko ny fiaran’ i Jehovah?
10 but David was not willing to move the ark of the LORD with him to the City of David; so David diverted it to the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite.
Ary Davida dia tsy nety namindra ny fiaran’ i Jehovah ho ao aminy ao an-Tanànan’ i Davida; fa naviliny ho ao an-tranon’ i Obed-edoma Gatita.
11 And the ark of the LORD remained in the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite three months, and the LORD blessed Obed-Edom and all his house.
Ary nipetraka telo volana tao an-tranon’ i Obed-edoma Gatita ny fiaran’ i Jehovah; ka dia notahin’ i Jehovah Obed-edoma sy ny ankohonany rehetra.
12 And it was told king David, saying, "The LORD has blessed the house of Obed-Edom and all that belongs to him because of the ark of God." And David said, "I will bring back the blessing to my house." And David went and brought up the ark of the LORD from the house of Obed-Edom into the City of David with joy.
Ary nambara tamin’ i Davida mpanjaka hoe: Jehovah efa nitahy ny ankohonan’ i Obed-edoma sy izay nananany rehetra noho ny fiaran’ Andriamanitra. Dia nandeha Davida ka nampakatra ny fiaran’ Andriamanitra tamim-pifaliana avy tao an-tranon’ i Obed-edoma ho any an-Tanànan’ i Davida.
13 And it was so, that, when those who bore the ark had gone six steps, he sacrificed an ox and a fattened calf.
Ary rehefa namindra inenina ny mpitondra ny fiaran’ i Jehovah, dia namono omby sy zanak’ omby mifahy izy hatao fanatitra.
14 And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and he was clothed in a linen ephod.
Ary Davida nitsinjaka mafy dia mafy teo anatrehan’ i Jehovah sady nisalotra efoda rongony fotsy.
15 And David and all Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet.
Ary Davida sy ny taranak’ i Isiraely rehetra nampakatra ny fiaran’ i Jehovah tamin’ ny hoby sy ny feon’ ny anjomara.
16 Now, as the ark entered the City of David, Mikal the daughter of Saul looked out at the window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the LORD; and she despised him in her heart.
Ary nony tonga teo an-Tanànan’ i Davida ny fiaran’ i Jehovah, dia nitsirika teo am-baravarankely Mikala, zanakavavin’ i Saoly, ka nahita an’ i Davida mpanjaka nibitaka sy nitsinjaka teo anatrehan’ i Jehovah; ka dia nikizaka azy tao am-pony izy.
17 And they brought in the ark of the LORD, and set it in its place, in the midst of the tent that David had set up for it; and David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD.
Ary nampiditra ny fiaran’ i Jehovah ny olona ka nametraka azy teo amin’ ny fitoerany tao amin’ ny lay izay naorin’ i Davida hitoerany; ary Davida nanatitra fanatitra dorana sy fanati-pihavanana teo anatrehan’ i Jehovah.
18 And when David had made an end of offering the burnt offering and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD of hosts.
Ary nony voatitr’ i Davida ny fanatitra dorana sy ny fanati-pihavanana, dia nitso-drano ny vahoaka tamin’ ny anaran’ i Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro, izy.
19 And he gave to all the people, even among the whole multitude of Israel, both to men and women, to everyone a portion of bread, a date cake, and a raisin cake. So all the people departed everyone to his house.
Dia nomeny mofo iray sy hena iray didy ary ampempam-boaloboka iray avy ny olona rehetra, dia ny Isiraely rehetra, na lahy na vavy. Ary dia samy nody tany an-tranony avy ny olona rehetra.
20 And then David returned to bless his household. Mikal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David. And she greeted him, and said, "How glorious the king of Israel was today, who uncovered himself today in the eyes of the servants of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovers himself."
Ary Davida koa mba nody hitso-drano ny ankohonany. Fa Mikala, zanakavavin’ i Saoly, nivoaka hitsena an’ i Davida ka nanao hoe: Akory ity voninahitry ny mpanjakan’ ny Isiraely androany! ilay nanary lamba anikeheo teo imason’ ny zanakavavin’ ny mpanompony, tahaka ny adala manary lamba ka tsy manan-kenatra.
21 And David said to Mikal, "I was dancing before the LORD. Blessed be the LORD, who chose me above your father, and above all his house, to appoint me prince over his people Israel; therefore I will celebrate before the LORD.
Ary hoy kosa Davida tamin’ i Mikala: Teo anatrehan’ i Jehovah, Izay nifidy ahy noho ny rainao sy ny ankohonany rehetra ka nanendry ahy ho mpanapaka ny Isiraely, olon’ i Jehovah, eny, teo anatrehan’ i Jehovah no nitsinjahako.
22 And I will be yet more vile than this, and will be lowly in your eyes. But of the servants of whom you have spoken, they shall honor me."
Ary mbola hivazina kokoa noho izany aza aho, ka hataoko tsinontsinona ny tenako; nefa hiaraka hanam-boninahitra amin’ ireo tovovavy nantsoinao ireo kosa aho.
23 And Mikal the daughter of Saul had no child to the day of her death.
Ka dia tsy nanan-janaka intsony mandra-pahafatiny Mikala, zanakavavin’ i Saoly.
