2 Kings 24
1 In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant three years: then he turned and rebelled against him.
En su tiempo subió Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia, al cual sirvió Joacim tres años; y volvió, y se rebeló contra él.
2 The LORD sent against him bands of the Chaldeans, and bands of the Arameans, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the people of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the LORD, which he spoke by his servants the prophets.
Y el SEÑOR envió contra él ejércitos de caldeos, y ejércitos de siros, y ejércitos de moabitas, y ejércitos de amonitas; los cuales envió contra Judá para que la destruyesen, conforme a la palabra del SEÑOR que había hablado por sus siervos los profetas.
3 Surely at the commandment of the LORD this came on Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did,
Ciertamente vino esto contra Judá por dicho del SEÑOR, para quitarla de delante de su presencia, por los pecados de Manasés, conforme a todo lo que hizo;
4 and also for the innocent blood that he shed; for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood: and the LORD would not pardon.
asimismo por la sangre inocente que derramó, pues llenó a Jerusalén de sangre inocente; por tanto el SEÑOR no quiso perdonar.
5 Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and all that he did, aren't they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
Lo demás de los hechos de Joacim, y todas las cosas que hizo, ¿no está todo escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Judá?
6 So Jehoiakim slept with his fathers; and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his place.
Y durmió Joacim con sus padres, y reinó en su lugar Joaquín su hijo.
7 The king of Egypt did not come again out of his land any more; for the king of Babylon had taken, from the Wadi of Egypt to the river Perath, all that pertained to the king of Egypt.
Y nunca más el rey de Egipto salió de su tierra; porque el rey de Babilonia le tomó todo lo que era suyo, desde el río de Egipto hasta el río de Eufrates.
8 Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he began to reign; and he reigned in Jerusalem three months: and his mother's name was Nehushta the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.
De dieciocho años era Joaquín cuando comenzó a reinar, y reinó en Jerusalén tres meses. El nombre de su madre fue Nehusta hija de Elnatán, de Jerusalén.
9 He did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father had done.
E hizo lo malo en ojos del SEÑOR, conforme a todas las cosas que había hecho su padre.
10 At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up to Jerusalem, and the city was besieged.
En aquel tiempo subieron los siervos de Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia contra Jerusalén y la ciudad fue cercada.
11 Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came to the city, while his servants were besieging it;
Vino también Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia contra la ciudad, cuando sus siervos la tenían cercada.
12 and Jehoiachin the king of Judah went out to the king of Babylon, he, and his mother, and his servants, and his officers, and his officers. And the king of Babylon took him in the eighth year of his reign.
Entonces salió Joaquín rey de Judá al rey de Babilonia, él, y su madre, y sus siervos, y sus príncipes, y sus eunucos; y lo prendió el rey de Babilonia en el octavo año de su reinado.
13 He carried out there all the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king's house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold, which Solomon king of Israel had made in the LORD's temple, as the LORD had said.
Y sacó de allí todos los tesoros de la Casa del SEÑOR, y los tesoros de la casa real, y quebró en piezas todos los vasos de oro que había hecho Salomón rey de Israel en la Casa del SEÑOR, como el SEÑOR había dicho.
14 He carried away all Jerusalem, and all the officials, and all the mighty men of valor, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and the smiths; none remained, except the poorest sort of the people of the land.
Y llevó cautivos a toda Jerusalén, a todos los príncipes, y a todos los hombres valientes, diez mil cautivos; asimismo a todos los oficiales y herreros; que no quedó nadie, excepto los pobres del pueblo de la tierra.
15 He carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon; and the king's mother, and the king's wives, and his officers, and the chief men of the land, carried he into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.
Asimismo trasportó a Joaquín a Babilonia, y a la madre del rey, y a las mujeres del rey, y a sus eunucos, y a los poderosos de la tierra; a todos los llevó cautivos de Jerusalén a Babilonia.
16 All the men of might, even seven thousand, and the craftsmen and the smiths one thousand, all of them strong and apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.
A todos los hombres de guerra, que fueron siete mil, y a los oficiales y herreros, que fueron mil, y a todos los valientes que hacían la guerra, llevó cautivos el rey de Babilonia.
17 The king of Babylon made Mattaniah, Jehoiachin's father's brother, king is his place, and changed his name to Zedekiah.
Y el rey de Babilonia puso por rey a Matanías su tío en su lugar, y le mudó el nombre en el de Sedequías.
18 Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he began to reign; and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
De veintiún años era Sedequías cuando comenzó a reinar, y reinó en Jerusalén once años. El nombre de su madre fue Hamutal hija de Jeremías, de Libna.
19 He did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.
E hizo lo malo en ojos del SEÑOR, conforme a todo lo que había hecho Joacim.
20 For through the anger of the LORD, it happened in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence. Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
Porque la ira del SEÑOR era contra Jerusalén y Judá, hasta que los echó de delante de su presencia. Y Sedequías se rebeló contra el rey de Babilonia.
