2 Corinthians 6
1 Working together, we entreat also that you not receive the grace of God in vain,
Wir ermahnen euch nun als Mitarbeiter, daß ihr die Gnade Gottes nicht vergeblich empfanget.
2 for he says, "At an acceptable time I listened to you, and in a day of salvation I helped you." Look, now is the "acceptable time." Look, now is the "day of salvation."
Denn Er spricht: Ich habe dich zur Zeit der Gnade erhört, und dir am Tage des Heils geholfen. Seht, jetzt ist die Zeit der Gnade, jetzt ist der Tag des Heils.
3 We give no occasion of stumbling in anything, that our service may not be blamed,
Wir geben niemand Ärgernis, auf daß unser Amt kein Vorwurf treffe,
4 but in everything commending ourselves, as servants of God, in great endurance, in afflictions, in hardships, in distresses,
Sondern erweisen uns in allen Dingen als Diener Gottes, durch große Standhaftigkeit in Drangsalen, Ängsten und Nöten,
5 in beatings, in imprisonments, in riots, in labors, in watchings, in fastings;
Unter Schlägen, in Gefängnissen, in Aufständen, in Mühseligkeiten, in Nachtwachen, in Fasten;
6 in pureness, in knowledge, in patience, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in sincere love,
In Sittenreinheit, in Erkenntnis, in Langmut, in Freundlichkeit, im Heiligen Geist, in ungeheuchelter Liebe,
7 in the word of truth, in the power of God; by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
In wahrhaftiger Lehre, in der Kraft Gottes, durch die Waffen der Gerechtigkeit zu Schutz und Trutz;
8 by glory and dishonor, by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true;
Durch Ehre und Schande, durch bösen und durch guten Leumund, als Verführer und als Wahrhaftige,
9 as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and look, we live; as punished, and not killed;
Als Verkannte, und doch bekannt, als sterbend und siehe, wir leben, als Gezüchtige und doch nicht Ertötete,
10 as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
Als Betrübte und die doch allezeit fröhlich sind, als Arme, die aber viele reich machen, als solche, die nichts haben und doch alles besitzen. -
11 Our mouth is open to you, Corinthians. Our heart is enlarged.
Unser Mund, Korinther, hat sich gegen euch aufgetan; unser Herz ist erweitert.
12 You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted by your own affections.
Ihr habt in uns keinen engen Raum, habt aber engen Raum in euren Herzen. Zur Wiedervergeltung -
13 Now in return, I speak as to my children, you also be open wide.
Ich rede zu euch, wie zu meinen Kindern - lasset es auch bei euch weiter werden.
14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?
Ziehet nicht am unrechten Joch mit den Ungläubigen; denn was hat die Gerechtigkeit gemein mit der Ungerechtigkeit? Welche Gemeinschaft ist zwischen dem Licht und der Finsternis?
15 What agreement has Messiah with Belial? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever?
Wie stimmt Christus mit Belial? Oder was hat der Gläubige zu schaffen mit dem Ungläubigen?
16 What agreement has a temple of God with idols? For we are a temple of the living God. Even as God said, "I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they will be my people."
Wie kann der Tempel Gottes mit Götzenbildern in einen Vergleich kommen? Ihr seid ja der Tempel des lebendigen Gottes, wie Gott spricht: Ich will in ihnen wohnen und unter ihnen wandeln, und will ihr Gott sein und sie sollen Mein Volk sein.
17 Therefore, "'Go out from their midst, and be separate,' says the Lord, 'and touch no unclean thing,' and I will receive you.
Darum entfernt euch aus ihrer Mitte, und sondert euch ab von ihnen! spricht der Herr, und rührt das Unreine nicht an, so will Ich euch annehmen.
18 "And I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters," says the Lord Almighty.
Und will euch Vater sein, und ihr sollt mir Söhne und Töchter sein, spricht der Herr, der Allmächtige.
