2 Chronicles 3
1 Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where he appeared to David his father, at the place that David had designated, on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
E começou Salomão a edificar a casa do Senhor em Jerusalem, no monte de Moria, onde o Senhor se tinha mostrado a David seu pae, no logar que David tinha preparado na eira d'Ornan, jebuseo.
2 And he began to build in the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.
E começou a edificar no segundo mez, no dia segundo, no anno quarto do seu reinado.
3 Now these are the foundations which Solomon laid for the building of God's house. The length, using the former standard measure, was one hundred three feet and four inches, and the breadth was thirty-four feet and five inches, and its height was fifty-one feet and eight inches.
E estes foram os fundamentos que Salomão poz para edificar a casa de Deus: o comprimento em covados, segundo a medida primeira, de sessenta covados, e a largura de vinte covados.
4 The porch that was in front of the house was the same as the width of the house, thirty-four feet and five inches, and the depth was seventeen feet and three inches; and he overlaid it on the inside with pure gold.
E o alpendre, que estava na frente, de comprimento segundo a largura da casa, era de vinte covados, e a altura de cento e vinte: o que dentro cobriu com oiro puro.
5 The greater house he made a ceiling with fir wood, which he overlaid with fine gold, and ornamented it with palm trees and chains.
E a casa grande cobriu com madeira de faia; e então a cobriu com oiro fino: e fez sobre ella palmas e cadeias.
6 He garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold was gold of Parvaim.
Tambem a casa adornou de pedras preciosas para ornamento: e o oiro era oiro de Parvaim.
7 He overlaid also the house, the beams, the thresholds, and its walls, and its doors, with gold; and engraved cherubim on the walls.
Tambem na casa cobriu as traves, os umbraes, e as suas paredes, e as suas portas, com oiro: e lavrou cherubins nas paredes.
8 He made the most holy house: its length, according to the breadth of the house, was thirty-four feet and five inches, and its breadth thirty-four feet and five inches; and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.
Fez mais a casa da sanctidade das sanctidades, cujo comprimento, segundo a largura da casa, era de vinte covados, e a sua largura de vinte covados: e cobriu-a de oiro fino, do peso de seiscentos talentos.
9 The weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. He overlaid the upper rooms with gold.
O peso dos pregos era de cincoenta siclos d'oiro: e os cenaculos cobriu d'oiro.
10 In the most holy house he made two cherubim of sculptured work; and he overlaid them with gold.
Tambem fez na casa da sanctidade das sanctidades dois cherubins de feição d'andantes, e cobriu-os d'oiro.
11 The wings of the cherubim were thirty-four feet and five inches: the wing of the one was eight feet and seven inches, reaching to the wall of the house; and the other wing was eight feet and seven inches, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.
E, quanto ás azas dos cherubins, o seu comprimento era de vinte covados; a aza d'um d'elles de cinco covados, e tocava na parede da casa; e a outra aza de cinco covados, e tocava na aza do outro cherubim.
12 The wing of the other cherub was eight feet and seven inches, reaching to the wall of the house; and the other wing was eight feet and seven inches, joining to the wing of the other cherub.
Tambem a aza do outro cherubim era de cinco covados, e tocava na parede da casa: era tambem a outra aza de cinco covados, e estava pegada á aza do outro cherubim.
13 The wings of these cherubim were extended thirty-four feet and five inches: and they stood on their feet, and their faces were toward the house.
E as azas d'estes cherubins se estendiam vinte covados: e estavam postos em pé, e os seus rostos virados para a casa.
14 He made the veil of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and ornamented it with cherubim.
Tambem fez o véu de azul, e purpura, e carmezim, e linho fino: e poz sobre elle cherubins.
15 Also he made before the house two pillars sixty feet and three inches high, and the capital that was on the top of each of them was eight feet and seven inches.
Fez tambem diante da casa duas columnas de trinta e cinco covados d'altura: e o capitel, que estava sobre cada uma, era de cinco covados.
16 He made chains in the inner sanctuary, and put them on the tops of the pillars; and he made one hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chains.
Tambem fez as cadeias, como no oraculo, e as poz sobre as cabeças das columnas: fez tambem cem romãs, as quaes poz entre as cadeias.
17 He set up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jakin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.
E levantou as columnas diante do templo, uma á direita, e outra á esquerda; e chamou o nome da que estava á direita Jachin, e o nome da que estava á esquerda Boaz.
