< 1 Timothy 2 >

1 I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings, be made for all people:
Lanwani ii, n dá ba paani a pali, ke ŋan ya tie i jaandi, ki miadi u sanu, ki miadi sugli, ki tiendi uU Tienu balga bi niba kuli po,
2 for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence.
bi badcianba yeni yaaba n pia yikodi kuli po, lan todi tin ya ye ya yema n ŋua mi yanduanma, li yanŋaali, U Tienu sanŋɔdma yeni li seli nni.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior;
4 who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.
Li tie o po buamɔnma, ke bikuli ń baa mi faabma, ki bandi i mɔmɔni cain.
5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and humanity, a human, Messiah Jesus,
Kelima, tienyendu baba n ye, yeni candanyendo baba, bi niba yeni U ienu siiga nni, Jesu yua n tie Kiristi yeni nilo.
6 who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times;
Lani n wangi wan tieni ya kasiedi lan buali ya yognu.
7 to which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle (I am telling the truth, I am not lying), a teacher of the non-Jews in faith and truth.
Lanyapo i, ke bi bili nni ke n tie tundka yini tondo. N maadi i mɔni i, n ki pua tuofaama ka. N tuonli n tie min tundi bi nilanba ti dudugdi yeni i mɔmɔni sanu nni.
8 I desire therefore that the men in every place pray, lifting up holy hands without anger and doubting.
9 In the same way, that women also adorn themselves in decent clothing, with modesty and propriety; not just with braided hair, gold, pearls, or expensive clothing;
10 but (which becomes women professing godliness) with good works.
Ama, N bua ke ban ya ŋanbidi bi yula lan buali maama nani ya puoba n wangi ti dudugdi bi tuonŋama po yeni.
11 Let a woman learn in quietness with all subjection.
O pua bi baa bangi bonli kuli li ŋminŋminli nni i, yeni u cɔlungu sanu nni,
12 But I do not permit a woman to teach, nor to exercise authority over a man, but to be in quietness.
Li ki cabi ke o pua ń tundi o ja lanyaaka wan ya pia ti yikodi o ja po, ama o baa ye li ŋminŋminli nni i.
13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
14 Adam was not deceived, but the woman, being deceived, has fallen into disobedience;
Bi nan ki bɔndi ki tulni Adama ka, ama bi bɔndi ki tulni o pua i, ke o kua mi tudma nni, ki miidi li kuali.
15 but she will be delivered through the childbirth, if they continue in faith and love and holiness, with self-control.
