1 Peter 5
1 I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Messiah, and who will also share in the glory that will be revealed:
௧உங்களில் உள்ள மூப்பர்களுக்கு உடன்மூப்பனும், கிறிஸ்துவின் பாடுகளுக்குச் சாட்சியும், இனி வெளிப்படும் மகிமைக்குப் பங்குள்ளவனாக இருக்கிற நான் புத்திசொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்:
2 Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, exercising the oversight, not under compulsion, but voluntarily, as God wants; not for dishonest gain, but willingly;
௨உங்களிடம் உள்ள தேவனுடைய மந்தையை நீங்கள் மேய்த்து, கட்டாயமாக இல்லை, மனப்பூர்வமாகவும், அவலட்சணமான ஆதாயத்திற்காகவும் இல்லை, உற்சாக மனதோடும்,
3 neither as lording it over those entrusted to you, but making yourselves examples to the flock.
௩சுதந்திரத்தை பெருமையோடு ஆளுகிறவர்களாக இல்லை, மந்தைக்கு முன்மாதிரிகளாகவும், கண்காணிப்புச் செய்யுங்கள்.
4 When the chief Shepherd is revealed, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.
௪அப்படி செய்தால் பிரதான மேய்ப்பர் வெளிப்படும்போது மகிமை குறையாத கிரீடத்தைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்வீர்கள்.
5 Likewise, you younger ones, be subject to the elder. Yes, all of you clothe yourselves with humility, towards one another; for God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.
௫அப்படியே, இளைஞர்களே, மூப்பர்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியுங்கள். நீங்கள் எல்லோரும் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் கீழ்ப்படிந்து, மனத்தாழ்மையை அணிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்; “பெருமை உள்ளவர்களுக்கு தேவன் எதிர்த்து நிற்கிறார், தாழ்மை உள்ளவர்களுக்கோ கிருபை அளிக்கிறார்.”
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time;
௬ஆகவே, குறித்தக் காலத்திலே தேவன் உங்களை உயர்த்துவதற்காக, அவருடைய பலத்த கரங்களுக்குள் அடங்கி இருங்கள்.
7 casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.
௭அவர் உங்களை விசாரிக்கிறவராக இருப்பதினால், உங்களுடைய கவலைகளையெல்லாம் அவர்மேல் வைத்துவிடுங்கள்.
8 Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
௮தெளிந்த புத்தி உள்ளவர்களாக இருங்கள், விழித்திருங்கள்; ஏனென்றால், உங்களுடைய எதிராளியாகிய பிசாசு கெர்ச்சிக்கிற சிங்கம்போல யாரை விழுங்கலாமோ என்று தேடிச் சுற்றித்திரிகிறான்.
9 Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings.
௯விசுவாசத்தில் உறுதியாக இருந்து, அவனுக்கு எதிர்த்து நில்லுங்கள்; உலகத்தில் உள்ள உங்களுடைய சகோதரர்களும் அப்படிப்பட்டப் பாடுகளை அனுபவிக்கிறார்கள் என்று தெரிந்திருக்கிறீர்களே.
10 And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Messiah, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen and establish you. (aiōnios g166)
௧0கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவிற்குள் நம்மை அவருடைய நித்திய மகிமைக்கு அழைத்தவராக இருக்கிற எல்லாக் கிருபையும் பொருந்திய தேவன்தாமே கொஞ்சக்காலம் பாடுகள் அனுபவிக்கிற உங்களைச் சீர்ப்படுத்தி, உறுதிப்படுத்தி, பலப்படுத்தி, நிலைநிறுத்துவாராக; (aiōnios g166)
௧௧அவருக்கு மகிமையும் வல்லமையும் எல்லாக் காலங்களிலும் உண்டாயிருப்பதாக. ஆமென். (aiōn g165)
12 Through Silvanus, our faithful brother, as I consider him, I have written to you briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God. Stand firm in it.
௧௨உங்களுக்குப் புத்திசொல்லுவதற்கும், நீங்கள் நிலைகொண்டு நிற்கிற கிருபை, தேவனுடைய உண்மையான கிருபைதான் என்று சாட்சியிடுவதற்கும், நான் சுருக்கமாக உங்களுக்கு எழுதி, உண்மையுள்ள சகோதரனாக எனக்குத் தோன்றுகிற சில்வானுவின் கையிலே கொடுத்து அனுப்பியிருக்கிறேன்.
13 She who is in Babylon, chosen together with you, greets you; and so does Mark, my son.
௧௩உங்களோடு தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டிருக்கிற பாபிலோனிலுள்ள சபையும், என் மகனாகிய மாற்கும் உங்களுக்கு வாழ்த்துதல் சொல்லுகிறார்கள்.
14 Greet one another with a kiss of love. Peace be to you all who are in Messiah.
௧௪ஒருவரையொருவர் அன்பின் முத்தத்தோடு வாழ்த்துதல் செய்யுங்கள். கிறிஸ்து இயேவிற்குள்ளான உங்கள் அனைவருக்கும் சமாதானம் உண்டாவதாக. ஆமென்.
