Romans 3
1 Then what advantage does the Jew have? Or what is the profit of circumcision?
౧అలాగైతే యూదుల గొప్పతనం ఏమిటి? సున్నతి వలన ప్రయోజనం ఏమిటి?
2 Much in every way. Because first of all, they were entrusted with the oracles of God.
౨ప్రతి విషయంలో ఎక్కువే. మొదటిది, దేవుని వాక్కులు యూదులకే అప్పగించబడ్డాయి.
3 For what if some were without faith? Will their lack of faith nullify the faithfulness of God?
౩కొందరు యూదులు నమ్మదగని వాళ్ళు అయినంత మాత్రాన దేవుడు నమ్మదగినవాడు కాకపోతాడా?
4 Absolutely not. Let God be found true, but every human being a liar. As it is written, "That you may be justified in your words, and prevail when you judge."
౪కానేకాదు. “నీ మాటల్లో నీవు నీతిమంతుడుగా కనిపించడానికి, నీపై విచారణ జరిగినప్పుడు గెలవడానికి” అని రాసి ఉన్న ప్రకారం మనుషులంతా అబద్ధికులైనా సరే, దేవుడు మాత్రం సత్యవంతుడే.
5 But if our unrighteousness commends the righteousness of God, what will we say? Is God unrighteous who inflicts wrath? (I am speaking in human terms).
౫మన దుర్నీతి దేవుని న్యాయాన్ని వెల్లడి చేస్తున్నప్పటికీ కోపం చూపే దేవుడు అన్యాయం చేసేవాడని చెప్పాలా? నేను మానవ వ్యవహార రీతిలో మాట్లాడుతున్నాను.
6 Absolutely not. For then how will God judge the world?
౬అలా కానే కాదు. అలాగైతే దేవుడు లోకానికి ఎలా తీర్పు తీరుస్తాడు?
7 For if the truth of God through my lie abounded to his glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner?
౭నా అబద్ధం ద్వారా దేవుని సత్యం విస్తరించి ఆయనకు మహిమ కలిగితే నేను పాపినని తీర్పు పొందడం ఎందుకు?
8 And why not (as we are slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say), "Let us do evil, that good may come?" Their condemnation is just.
౮మంచి జరగడం కోసం చెడు జరిగిద్దాం అని మేము బోధిస్తున్నామని ఇప్పటికే కొందరు మాపై నిందారోపణ చేసినట్టు మేము నిజంగానే ఆ ప్రకారం చెప్పవచ్చు కదా? వారి మీదికి వచ్చే శిక్ష న్యాయమైనదే.
9 What then? Are we better than they? No, in no way. For we previously warned both Jews and Greeks, that they are all under sin.
౯అలాగని మేము వారికంటే మంచివారమా? ఎంతమాత్రం కాదు. యూదులైనా, యూదేతరులైనా, అందరూ పాపం కింద ఉన్నారని ఇప్పటికే దోషారోపణ చేశాం కదా.
10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one."
౧౦దీని విషయంలో ఏమని రాసి ఉన్నదంటే, “నీతిమంతుడు లేడు, ఒక్కడు కూడా లేడు.
11 "There is no one who understands. There is no one who seeks after God.
౧౧గ్రహించేవాడెవడూ లేడు, దేవుణ్ణి వెదికే వాడెవడూ లేడు.
12 They have all turned aside. They have together become unprofitable. There is no one who does good, there is not even one."
౧౨అందరూ దారి తప్పిపోయారు, అందరూ ఏకంగా పనికిమాలినవారయ్యారు. మంచి జరిగించేవాడు లేడు, ఒక్కడు కూడా లేడు.
13 "Their throat is an open tomb. With their tongues they have used deceit." "Viper's poison is under their lips;"
౧౩వారి గొంతుక తెరచి ఉన్న సమాధిలాగా ఉంది. వారు నాలుకతో మోసం చేస్తూ ఉంటారు. వారి పెదవుల కింద పాము విషం ఉంది.
14 "Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness."
౧౪వారి నోటినిండా శాపనార్ధాలు, పగ ఉన్నాయి.
15 "Their feet are swift to shed blood.
౧౫రక్తం చిందించడానికి వారి పాదాలు పరిగెడుతూ ఉన్నాయి.
16 Destruction and calamity are in their paths.
౧౬వారి మార్గాల్లో నాశనం, కష్టం ఉన్నాయి.
17 The way of peace, they have not known."
౧౭వారికి శాంతిమార్గం తెలియదు.
18 "There is no fear of God before their eyes."
౧౮వారి దృష్టికి దేవుని భయం అంటే తెలియదు.”
19 Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God.
౧౯ప్రతి నోటికీ మూతపడాలనీ, లోకమంతా దేవుని తీర్పు కిందికి రావాలనీ ధర్మశాస్త్రం చెప్పే మాటలన్నీ దానికి లోబడి ఉన్నవారితోనే చెబుతున్నదని మనకు తెలుసు.
20 Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight. For through the law comes the knowledge of sin.
౨౦ఎందుకంటే ధర్మశాస్త్రాన్ని పాటించడం ద్వారా ఏ మనిషీ దేవుని దృష్టికి నీతిమంతుడు కాలేడు. ధర్మశాస్త్రం వలన పాపమంటే ఏమిటో తెలుస్తున్నది.
21 But now apart from the law, a righteousness of God has been revealed, being testified by the Law and the Prophets;
౨౧ఇదిలా ఉంటే ధర్మశాస్త్రంతో సంబంధం లేకుండా దేవుని న్యాయం వెల్లడైంది. ధర్మశాస్త్రమూ ప్రవక్తలూ రాసింది దానికి సాక్ష్యంగా ఉన్నాయి.
22 even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. For there is no distinction,
౨౨అది యేసు క్రీస్తులో విశ్వాసమూలంగా నమ్మే వారందరికీ కలిగే దేవుని నీతి.
23 for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;
౨౩భేదమేమీ లేదు. అందరూ పాపం చేసి దేవుడు ఇవ్వజూపిన మహిమను అందుకోలేక పోతున్నారు.
24 being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus;
౨౪నమ్మేవారు దేవుని కృప చేతా, క్రీస్తు యేసులోని విమోచన ద్వారా, ఉచితంగా నీతిమంతులని తీర్పు పొందుతున్నారు.
25 whom God displayed publicly as a mercy seat, through faith in his blood, for a demonstration of his righteousness, because in God's forbearance he had passed over the sins previously committed;
౨౫క్రీస్తు యేసు రక్తంలో విశ్వాసం ద్వారా పాప పరిహారం పొందేలా దేవుడు తన కోపాగ్నిని తొలగించే పాప పరిహారార్ధ బలిగా ఆయనను కనుపరిచాడు. అందులో దేవుని ఉద్దేశం తన న్యాయాన్ని ప్రదర్శించడమే. ఎందుకంటే, గతంలోని పాపాలను దేవుడు సహనంతో దాటిపోయాడు.
26 to demonstrate his righteousness at this present time, so that he would be just, and the justifier of him who has faith in Jesus.
౨౬ప్రస్తుత కాలంలో తన న్యాయాన్ని కనబరిచే నిమిత్తం తాను న్యాయవంతుడుగా, యేసులో విశ్వాసంగల వాణ్ణి న్యాయవంతుని తీర్చే వాడుగా ఉండడానికి దేవుడు ఇలా చేశాడు.
27 Where then is the boasting? It is excluded. By what manner of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith.
౨౭కాబట్టి మనం గొప్పలు చెప్పుకోడానికి కారణమేది? దాన్ని కొట్టివేయడం అయిపోయింది. ఏ నియమాన్ని బట్టి? క్రియలను బట్టా? కాదు, విశ్వాస నియమాన్ని బట్టే.
28 For we maintain that one is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.
౨౮కాబట్టి మనుషులు ధర్మశాస్త్ర క్రియలు లేకుండానే విశ్వాసం వలన నీతిమంతులని తీర్పు పొందుతున్నారని నిర్ణయిస్తున్నాము.
29 Or is God for Jews only? Is he not the God of the non-Jews also? Yes, of the non-Jews also,
౨౯దేవుడు యూదులకు మాత్రమేనా దేవుడు? యూదేతరులకు కాడా? అవును, వారికి కూడా దేవుడే.
30 since indeed there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith, and the uncircumcised through faith.
౩౦దేవుడు ఒక్కడే కాబట్టి, ఆయన సున్నతి గలవారిని విశ్వాసం ద్వారా, సున్నతి లేని వారిని విశ్వాసం మూలంగా నీతిమంతులుగా తీరుస్తాడు.
31 Do we then nullify the law through faith? Absolutely not. No, we establish the law.
౩౧విశ్వాసం ద్వారా ధర్మశాస్త్రాన్ని కొట్టివేస్తున్నామా? కాదు, ధర్మశాస్త్రాన్ని స్థిరపరుస్తున్నాము.
