Psalms 70

1 [For the Chief Musician. By David. A reminder.] Hurry, God, to deliver me. Come quickly to help me, Jehovah.

Kwa mwimbishaji. Zaburi ya Daudi. Maombi. Ee Mungu, ufanye haraka kuniokoa; Ee Bwana, njoo hima unisaidie.

2 Let them be put to shame and confounded who seek my soul. Let those who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace.

Wale wanaotafuta kuuondoa uhai wangu, waaibishwe na kufadhaishwa; wote wanaotamani kuangamizwa kwangu, warudishwe nyuma kwa aibu.

3 Let them be turned back because of their shame who say to me, "Aha. Aha."

Wale waniambiao, “Aha! Aha!” warudi nyuma kwa sababu ya aibu yao.

4 Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. Let those who love your salvation continually say, "Let God be exalted."

Lakini wote wakutafutao washangilie na kukufurahia, wale wapendao wokovu wako siku zote waseme, “Mungu na atukuzwe!”

5 But I am poor and needy. Come to me quickly, God. You are my help and my deliverer. Jehovah, do not delay.

Lakini bado mimi ni maskini na mhitaji; Ee Mungu, unijie haraka. Wewe ndiwe msaada wangu na mwokozi wangu; Ee Bwana, usikawie.
