< Psalms 7 >
1 [A meditation by David, which he sang to Jehovah, concerning the words of Cush, the Benjamite.] Jehovah, my God, I take refuge in you. Save me from all those who pursue me, and deliver me,

6 Arise, Jehovah, in your anger. Lift up yourself against the rage of my adversaries. Awake, my God; you have appointed judgment.
Simukai, imi Jehovha pakutsamwa kwenyu; simukai murwise hasha dzavavengi vangu. Simukai, Mwari wangu; rayirai kururamisira.
7 And let the congregation of the peoples surround you, and rule over them on high.

12 If a man doesn't relent, he will sharpen his sword; he has bent and strung his bow.
Kana munhu asingatendeuki, iye acharodza munondo wake; achakunga uta hwake agogadzirira.
13 He has also prepared for himself deadly weapons. He makes ready his flaming arrows.

Zvakashata zvake zvichadzokera pamusoro wake; uye kumanikidza kwake kuchauya pamusoro wake.
17 I will give thanks to Jehovah according to his righteousness, and will sing praise to the name of Jehovah Most High.
