< Psalms 61 >
1 [For the Chief Musician. For a stringed instrument. By David.] Hear my cry, God. Listen to my prayer.
David ƒe ha na hɛnɔ la. Woadzii ɖe kasaŋku ŋu. Se nye ɣlidodo, O Mawu, eye nàlé to ɖe nye gbedodoɖa ŋu.
2 From the most remote place of the earth, I will call to you, when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
Meyɔ wò tso anyigba ƒe mlɔenu, meyɔ wò, esi nu te nye dzi ŋu belibelibeli; azɔ kplɔm yi ɖe agakpe si kɔ wum la dzi,
3 For you have been a refuge for me, a strong tower from the enemy.
elabena wòe nye nye sitsoƒe kple mɔ sesẽ, le futɔ la ta.
4 I will dwell in your tent forever. I will take refuge in the shelter of your wings. (Selah)
Medi vevie be manɔ wò agbadɔ me tegbee, eye mabe ɖe wò aʋala ƒe fafaƒe. (Sela)
5 For you, God, have heard my vows. You have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.
O! Mawu, èse nye adzɔgbeɖeɖewo, eye nètsɔ ame siwo vɔ̃a wò ŋkɔ la ƒe domenyinu nam.
6 You will prolong the king's life; his years shall be for generations.
Dzi fia la ƒe agbemeŋkekewo ɖe edzi nɛ, eƒe ƒewo nasɔ gbɔ be wòakpɔ dzidzime geɖewo.
7 He shall be enthroned in God's presence forever. Appoint your loving kindness and truth, that they may preserve him.
Neɖu fia le Mawu ŋkume tegbee, eye na wò lɔlɔ̃ kple nuteƒewɔwɔ nakpɔ eta.
8 So I will sing praise to your name forever, that I may fulfill my vows day after day.
