< Psalms 4 >
1 [For the Chief Musician; on stringed instruments. A Psalm by David.] Answer me when I call, God of my righteousness. You set me free in my distress. Be gracious to me and hear my prayer.
2 You sons of man, how long will you shame my honor, love what is worthless, chase after a lie? (Selah)
Har yaushe, ya ku mutane za ku mai da ɗaukakata abin kunya? Har yaushe za ku ƙaunaci ruɗu ku nemi allolin ƙarya? (Sela)
3 But know that Jehovah works wonders for his godly one; Jehovah will hear when I call to him.
Ku san cewa Ubangiji ya keɓe masu tsoron Allah wa kansa; Ubangiji zai ji sa’ad da na yi kira gare shi.
4 Be angry, but do not sin. Ponder in your heart, but be at rest on your bed. (Selah)
Cikin fushinku kada ku yi zunubi; sa’ad da kuke kan gadajenku, ku bincike zukatanku ku kuma yi shiru. (Sela)
5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in Jehovah.
Ku miƙa hadayun da suka dace ku kuma dogara ga Ubangiji.
6 Many say, "Who will show us any good?" Jehovah, lift up the light of your face upon us.
Yawanci suna cewa, “Wa zai yi mana alheri?” Bari hasken fuskarka yă haskaka a kanmu, ya Ubangiji.
7 You have put gladness in my heart, more than when their grain and wine and oil abound.
Ka cika zuciyata da farin ciki sa’ad da hatsinsu da sabon ruwan inabinsu ya yi yawa.
8 In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Jehovah alone, make me live in safety.
Zan kwanta in kuma yi barci lafiya, gama kai kaɗai, ya Ubangiji, kake sa mazaunina yă kasance lafiya lau.
