Psalms 29

1 [A Psalm by David.] Ascribe to Jehovah, you sons of the mighty, ascribe to Jehovah glory and strength.

¡Tributen a Yavé, oh hijos de los poderosos! ¡Tributen a Yavé la gloria y el poder!

2 Ascribe to Jehovah the glory due to his name. Worship Jehovah in holy array.

¡Tributen a Yavé la gloria debida a su Nombre! ¡Póstrense ante Yavé en el esplendor de la santidad!

3 The voice of Jehovah is on the waters. The God of glory thunders, even Jehovah on many waters.

4 The voice of Jehovah is powerful. The voice of Jehovah is full of majesty.

5 The voice of Jehovah breaks the cedars. Yes, Jehovah breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.

6 He makes them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young, wild ox.

7 The voice of Jehovah strikes with flashes of lightning.

9 The voice of Jehovah makes the large trees tremble, and strips the forests bare. In his temple everything says, "Glory."
