< Psalms 28 >
1 [By David.] To you, Jehovah, I call. My rock, do not be deaf to me; lest, if you are silent to me, I would become like those who go down into the pit.
Dawid dwom. Wo na misu frɛ wo, Awurade me Botan; nsiw wʼaso wɔ me ho. Sɛ woyɛ komm a, mɛyɛ sɛ wɔn a wɔasian kɔ amoa mu no.
2 Hear the voice of my petitions, when I cry to you, when I lift up my hands toward your Most Holy Place.
Tie me mmɔborɔsu bere a mefrɛ wo apɛ mmoa, bere a mema me nsa so kyerɛ wo Tenabea Kronkron hɔ.
3 Do not draw me away with the wicked, with evildoers who speak peace with their neighbors, but mischief is in their hearts.
Mfa me mfra amumɔyɛfo mu ntwe me nkɔ, mfa me nka wɔn a wɔyɛ bɔne no ho. Wɔne wɔn yɔnkonom kasa fɛfɛ, nanso wɔde ɔtan sie wɔn koma mu.
4 Give them according to their work, and according to the wickedness of their doings. Give them according to the operation of their hands. Bring back on them what they deserve.
Twe wɔn aso wɔ nea wɔayɛ no so; wɔn adwuma bɔne no so; tua nea wɔde wɔn nsa ayɛ so ka na fa nea ɛfata wɔn san bra wɔn so.
5 Because they do not regard the works of Jehovah, nor the operation of his hands, he will break them down and not build them up.
Sɛ wommu nea Awurade ayɛ ne nea ɔde ne nsa ayɛ no nti ɔbɛbrɛ wɔn ase na ɔremma wɔnnsɔre bio.
6 Blessed be Jehovah, because he has heard the voice of my petitions.
Ayeyi nka Awurade, efisɛ watie me mmɔborɔsu.
7 Jehovah is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him.
Awurade ne mʼahoɔden ne me nkatabo me koma wɔ ne mu ahotoso, na ɔboa me. Me koma di ahurusi na mede dwonto bɛda no ase.
8 Jehovah is the strength of his people. He is a stronghold of salvation to his anointed.
Awurade yɛ ahoɔden ma ne nkurɔfo; ne nkwagye nsraban ma nea wɔasra no ngo.
9 Save your people, and bless your inheritance. Be their shepherd also, and bear them up forever.
Gye wo nkurɔfo na hyira wʼagyapade; yɛ wɔn hwɛfo, na wo ne wɔn nnantew afebɔɔ.
