Psalms 20

1 [For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.] May Jehovah answer you in the day of trouble. May the name of the God of Jacob set you up on high.

സംഗീതസംവിധായകന്. ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. കഷ്ടകാലത്തിൽ, യഹോവ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് ഉത്തരമരുളുമാറാകട്ടെ; യാക്കോബിൻ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നാമം നിങ്ങളെ സംരക്ഷിക്കട്ടെ.

2 He will send you help from the sanctuary, and give you support from Zion.

അവിടന്ന് തിരുസന്നിധാനത്തിൽനിന്ന് നിങ്ങൾക്കു സഹായം അയയ്ക്കട്ടെ സീയോനിൽനിന്ന് അവിടന്ന് പിൻതുണയേകട്ടെ.

3 He will remember all your offerings, and accept your burnt sacrifice. (Selah)

നിങ്ങളുടെ യാഗാർപ്പണങ്ങൾ അവിടന്ന് ഓർക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹോമയാഗങ്ങൾ അവിടത്തേക്ക് സ്വീകാര്യമായിരിക്കട്ടെ. (സേലാ)

4 He will grant you your heart's desire, and fulfill all your plans.

അവിടന്ന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയാഭിലാഷങ്ങൾ നിറവേറ്റട്ടെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഉദ്യമങ്ങളെല്ലാം സഫലമാക്കട്ടെ.

5 We will triumph in your salvation. In the name of our God, we will set up our banners. May Jehovah grant all your requests.

താങ്കളുടെ വിജയംനേടുമ്പോൾ ഞങ്ങൾ ആനന്ദഘോഷം മുഴക്കും ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവത്തിൻ നാമത്തിൽ ഞങ്ങൾ വിജയക്കൊടികൾ പാറിക്കും. യഹോവ നിങ്ങളുടെ അപേക്ഷകളെല്ലാം സാധിപ്പിച്ചുനൽകട്ടെ.

6 Now I know that Jehovah saves his anointed. He will answer him from his holy heaven, with a mighty act of deliverance by his right hand.

യഹോവ തന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തനെ മോചിപ്പിക്കുന്നുവെന്ന് ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ അറിയുന്നു. അവിടത്തെ വലതുകരത്തിന്റെ രക്ഷാകരമായ ശക്തിയാൽ വിശുദ്ധ സ്വർഗത്തിൽനിന്ന് അവിടന്ന് അവന് ഉത്തരമരുളുന്നു.

7 Some [trust] in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust the name of Jehovah our God.

ചിലർ രഥങ്ങളിലും ചിലർ കുതിരകളിലും ആശ്രയംവെക്കുന്നു, എന്നാൽ ഞങ്ങൾ ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നു.

8 They are bowed down and fallen, but we rise up, and stand upright.

അവർ ശക്തിക്ഷയിച്ച് നിലംപൊത്തും, ഞങ്ങളോ, എഴുന്നേറ്റ് ഉറച്ചുനിൽക്കും.

9 Save, Jehovah. Let the King answer us when we call.

യഹോവേ, രാജാവിനു വിജയം നൽകണമേ! ഞങ്ങൾ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഉത്തരമരുളണമേ!
