< Psalms 20 >
1 [For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.] May Jehovah answer you in the day of trouble. May the name of the God of Jacob set you up on high.
Hanoiñ’azo an-tsan-kasotriañe t’Iehovà, hañonjoñ’ azo ankaboañe ey ty tahinan’ Añahare’ Iakobe.
2 He will send you help from the sanctuary, and give you support from Zion.
Hañitrifa’e imba boak’amy toe-miavakey hanohañ’ azo hirik’e Tsiône ao.
3 He will remember all your offerings, and accept your burnt sacrifice. (Selah)
Ho tiahi’e o enga-mahakama iabio, vaho hiantofa’e o fisoroña’oo! Selà
4 He will grant you your heart's desire, and fulfill all your plans.
Hatolots’ azo ze salalan’ arofo’o le ho henefeñe iaby o ereñere’oo.
5 We will triumph in your salvation. In the name of our God, we will set up our banners. May Jehovah grant all your requests.
Ho poñafe’ay rebeke ty fandrombaha’o, ty tahinan’Añahare’ay ro añelahelà’ay kobaiñe; ho henefa’ Iehovà abey o halali’oo.
6 Now I know that Jehovah saves his anointed. He will answer him from his holy heaven, with a mighty act of deliverance by his right hand.
Apotako henaneo, te ho rombahe’ Iehovà i noriza’ey; ho toiñe’e boak’ an-dindi’e masiñe ao, amy haozaram-pandrombaha’ i fitàn-kavana’eiy.
7 Some [trust] in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust the name of Jehovah our God.
Miato an-tsarete o ila’eo, an-tsoavala ka ty ila’e; fa ho tiahi’ay ty tahina’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’ay.
8 They are bowed down and fallen, but we rise up, and stand upright.
Nibokoke iereo naho nikorovoke mitroatse zahay vaho mijohañe.
9 Save, Jehovah. Let the King answer us when we call.
