< Psalms 19 >

1 [For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.] The heavens declare the glory of God. The expanse shows his handiwork.
Dawid dwom. Ɔsoro ka Onyankopɔn animuonyam ho asɛm! Ewiem pae mu ka ne nsa ano adwuma,
2 Day after day they pour forth speech, and night after night they display knowledge.
Ɛda biara, wɔkasa; anadwo biara, wɔkyerɛ nimdeɛ.
3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
Ɔkasa anaa nsɛm nnim na wɔnnte wɔn nne.
4 Their voice has gone out to all the earth, their words to the farthest part of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun,
Nanso wɔn asɛm akɔduru asase so mmaa nyinaa, wɔn nsɛm nso akɔduru asase ano. Wɔ ɔsoro hɔ, wasi ntomadan ama owia,
5 which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, like a strong man rejoicing to run his course.
a ɔte sɛ ayeforɔkunu a ɔfiri ne pia mu, te sɛ ɔbrane a ne ho pere no sɛ ɔbɛtu ne mmirika.
6 His going forth is from the end of the heavens, his circuit to its ends; There is nothing hidden from its heat.
Ɛpue wɔ ɔsoro fa baabi na atwa ne ho akɔsi ano; biribiara nhinta ne hyeɛ.
7 Jehovah's Law is perfect, restoring the soul. Jehovah's testimony is sure, making wise the simple.
Awurade mmara yɛ pɛ, ɛkanyane ɔkra no. Ahotosoɔ wɔ Awurade nhyehyɛeɛ mu, ɛma deɛ ɔnnim nyansa hunu nyansa.
8 Jehovah's precepts are right, rejoicing the heart. Jehovah's commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes.
Awurade ahyɛdeɛ tene; ɛma akoma mu anigyeɛ. Awurade ɔhyɛ nsɛm mu da hɔ; na ɛbue ani.
9 The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring forever. Jehovah's ordinances are true, and righteous altogether.
Awurade suro yɛ kronn, ɛte hɔ daa. Awurade mmaransɛm yɛ nokorɛ na ne nyinaa tene.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, yes, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the extract of the honeycomb.
Ɛsom bo sene sikakɔkɔɔ sene sikakɔkɔɔ amapa mpo; ɛyɛ dɛ sene ɛwoɔ, sene ɛwoɔ a ɛfiri ɛwokyɛm mu.
11 Moreover by them is your servant warned. In keeping them there is great reward.
Wɔnam so bɔ wo ɔsomfoɔ kɔkɔ sɛ, ɛsodie so akatua yɛ bebree.
12 Who can discern his errors? Forgive me from hidden errors.
Hwan na ɔhunu nʼankasa mfomsoɔ? Fa me mfomsoɔ a ahinta kyɛ me.
13 Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins. Let them not have dominion over me. Then I will be upright. I will be blameless and innocent of great transgression.
Bɔ wʼakoa ho ban firi ɔboayɛ bɔne ho, na anhyɛ me so. Ɛno na ɛbɛma madi bem, a merenni fɔ wɔ bɔne akɛseɛ ho.
14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight always, Jehovah, my rock and my redeemer.
Ma mʼanom nsɛm ne mʼakoma mu mpaeɛbɔ nyɛ deɛ ɛsɔ wʼani, Ao Awurade me Botan ne me Gyefoɔ. Wɔde ma dwomkyerɛfoɔ.
