< Psalms 15 >

1 [A Psalm by David.] Jehovah, who shall dwell in your sanctuary? Who shall live on your holy mountain?
Ko e Saame ʻa Tevita. ‌ʻE Sihova, ko hai te ne nofo ʻi ho fale fehikitaki? Ko hai te ne nofomaʻu ʻi ho moʻunga māʻoniʻoni?
2 He who walks blamelessly and does what is right, and speaks truth in his heart.
Ko ia ia ʻoku ʻeveʻeva ʻi he angatonu, pea ngāue ʻi he māʻoniʻoni, mo lea ʻaki ʻae moʻoni ʻi hono loto.
3 He doesn't slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his friend, nor lifts up an insult against his neighbor.
Ko ia ʻoku ʻikai lauʻikovi ʻaki hono ʻelelo, pe fai kovi ki hono kaungāʻapi, pe toʻo hake ʻae lea kovi ki hono kaungāʻapi.
4 In his eyes a vile man is despised, but he honors those who fear Jehovah. He keeps an oath even when it hurts, and doesn't change it.
‌ʻAia ʻoku kovi ki hono mata ʻae tangata fai kovi; ka ʻoku ne fakaʻapaʻapa kiate kinautolu ʻoku manavahē kia Sihova. ʻOku ne fuakava, pea kovi ai ia, ka ʻe ʻikai liliu ai.
5 He doesn't lend out his money for interest, nor take a bribe against the innocent. The one who does these things will never be upended.
Ko ia ʻoku ʻikai ʻange ʻene ngaahi paʻanga koeʻuhi ko e totongi, pe toʻo ʻe ia ʻae totongi ke fai kovi ki he māʻoniʻoni. Ko ia ʻoku ne fai ʻae ngaahi meʻa ni ʻe ʻikai ueʻi ia ʻo taʻengata.
