< Psalms 15 >
1 [A Psalm by David.] Jehovah, who shall dwell in your sanctuary? Who shall live on your holy mountain?
Psalm Davidov. Gospod, kdo naj prebiva v šatoru tvojem; kdo naj stanuje na gori svetosti tvoje?
2 He who walks blamelessly and does what is right, and speaks truth in his heart.
Kdor hodi pošteno in dela pravico ter govori resnico iz svojega srca;
3 He doesn't slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his friend, nor lifts up an insult against his neighbor.
Ne obrekuje z jezikom svojim, ne dela hudega bližnjemu svojemu, in ne sramoti svojega soseda:
4 In his eyes a vile man is despised, but he honors those who fear Jehovah. He keeps an oath even when it hurts, and doesn't change it.
V očeh njegovih je zaničevan krivični, česti pa njé, ki se bojé Gospoda; ko je prisegel v škodo svojo, vendar ne gane;
5 He doesn't lend out his money for interest, nor take a bribe against the innocent. The one who does these things will never be upended.
Denarja svojega ne posoja na obresti, in darila ne prejema zoper nedolžnega; kdor tako ravna, ne omahne nikdar.
