Psalms 149

1 Praise JAH. Sing to Jehovah a new song, his praise in the assembly of the faithful ones.

੧ਹਲਲੂਯਾਹ! ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਨਵਾਂ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਓ, ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਭਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰੋ!

2 Let Israel rejoice in him who made them. Let the people of Zion be joyful in their King.

੨ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਨੰਦ ਹੋਵੇ, ਸੀਯੋਨ ਦੇ ਵਾਸੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਾਗ-ਬਾਗ ਹੋਣ।

3 Let them praise his name in the dance. Let them sing praises to him with tambourine and harp.

੩ਓਹ ਨੱਚਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰਨ, ਅਤੇ ਤਬਲਾ ਤੇ ਸਿਤਾਰ ਵਜਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ ਗਾਉਣ!

4 For Jehovah takes pleasure in his people. He crowns the humble with salvation.

੪ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਨਾਲ ਖੁਸ਼ ਜੋ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮਸਕੀਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ਤਹ ਨਾਲ ਸਿੰਗਾਰੇਗਾ,

5 Let the faithful ones rejoice in glory. Let them sing for joy on their beds.

੫ਸੰਤ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਾਗ-ਬਾਗ ਹੋਣ, ਓਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਛਾਉਣਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਜੈਕਾਰਾ ਗਜਾਉਣ!

6 May the high praises of God be in their mouths, and a two-edged sword in their hand;

੬ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਡਿਆਈਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋਧਾਰੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ,

7 To execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments on the peoples;

੭ਕਿ ਪਰਾਈਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਦਲਾ ਲੈਣ, ਅਤੇ ਉੱਮਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਝਿੜਕੀਂ ਦੇਣ,

8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

੮ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਗਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ, ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਤਵੰਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਹੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੇੜੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਣ,

9 to execute on them the written judgment. All his faithful ones have this honor. Praise JAH.

੯ਅਤੇ ਲਿਖੇ ਹੋਏ ਫ਼ਤਵੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਚਲਾਉਣ, - ਇਹ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਣ ਹੈ। ਹਲਲੂਯਾਹ!
