< Psalms 142 >
1 [A contemplation by David, when he was in the cave. A Prayer.] I cry with my voice to Jehovah. With my voice, I ask Jehovah for mercy.
Keima Yahweh Pakai henga kataovin, Yahweh Pakai henga khotona kathum in ahi.
2 I pour out my complaint before him. I tell him my troubles.
Keima Yahweh Pakai ang-sunga kakiphin in, kahahsatna jouse jong kaphongdoh'in.
3 When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, you knew my path. In the way in which I walk, they have hidden a snare for me.
Kalhagao alam vai jitan, hinlah Yahweh Pakai nangbou nahi kachena ding lampi ei-hil ji. Kajotna lam'a chun ei-douten thang eikam peh jiuvin ahi.
4 Look on my right, and see; for there is no one who is concerned for me. Refuge has fled from me. No one cares for my soul.
Keiman mikhat tou hunga eipanpi ding kangaichat lai jin, koiman amitsih jenga jong eive poi! Koimacha eikithopi ding aumpoi, kachunga thilsoh koiman imachan eigelpeh poi.
5 I cried to you, Jehovah. I said, "You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living."
O Yahweh Pakai, keima na henga kataovin, “Nangma hi kakiselna nahi, kahinkhoa kangaichat pen nang bou nahi,” kati.
6 Listen to my cry, for I am in desperate need. Deliver me from my persecutors, for they are stronger than me.
Kataona hi nei ngaipeh teijin, ei-kisunem behseh jeng tai! Ei-bolgenthei hoa kon'in neihuhdoh tan, ajeh chu amaho keisang in ahatval jeng tauve.
7 Bring my soul out of prison, that I may give thanks to your name. The righteous will surround me, for you will be good to me.
Songkul'a kon'in neihuhdoh loijin, chutileh nangma kathangvah thei ding ahi. Lolhing tah'a neibol jeh'a kajet le kaveija mikitah dim lha diu ahi.
