< Psalms 13 >
1 [For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.] How long, Jehovah? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?
Ya Mukulu wa Bayimbi. Zabbuli ya Dawudi. Olinneerabira kutuusa ddi, Ayi Mukama? Okutuusa emirembe gyonna? Olikomya ddi okunkweka amaaso go?
2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart every day? How long shall my enemy triumph over me?
Okulumwa mu mmeeme yange kulikoma ddi, n’okunyolwa okwa buli lunaku mu mutima gwange kuliggwaamu ddi? Abalabe bange balikomya ddi okumpangulanga nga beegulumiza?
3 Look, and answer me, Jehovah, my God. Give light to my eyes, lest I sleep in death;
Onnyanukule, Ayi Mukama Katonda wange; onzizeemu amaanyi nneme okufa.
4 Lest my enemy say, "I have prevailed against him," and my adversaries rejoice when I fall.
Si kulwa ng’omulabe wange yeewaana nti, “Mmuwangudde;” abalabe bange ne bajaguza nga ngudde.
5 But I trust in your loving kindness. My heart rejoices in your salvation.
Naye nze neesiga okwagala kwo okutajjulukuka; era omutima gwange gunaasanyukiranga mu bulokozi bwo.
6 I will sing to Jehovah, because he has dealt bountifully with me, and I will sing to the name of Jehovah Most High.
Nnaayimbiranga Mukama, kubanga ankoledde ebirungi.
