< Psalms 13 >

1 [For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.] How long, Jehovah? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?
O Yahweh Pakai, phat itihchan geihi neisuhmil ding hitam? Itih chan keija kon'a nakiselmang ding nahim?
2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart every day? How long shall my enemy triumph over me?
Itihchan gei hiche hahsatna hi kathoh ding ham? Itih chan asun ajan'a lungkhamna dimset'a kaum ding ham? Itih chan kagalmiten hanla eisap khum diu hitam?
3 Look, and answer me, Jehovah, my God. Give light to my eyes, lest I sleep in death;
O Yahweh Pakai, Elohim ka Pathen hung kiheiyin, neihin donbut tan! Katha kile dohsah'in, neithisah hih'in.
4 Lest my enemy say, "I have prevailed against him," and my adversaries rejoice when I fall.
“Ama hi kajou tai!” tin kamelma te hi ka lhuh nin kipasah hih beh in.
5 But I trust in your loving kindness. My heart rejoices in your salvation.
Amavang namingailutna longlouvachu kingai jing kahi. Neihuhdoh jeh a keima kipa jing ding kahi.
6 I will sing to Jehovah, because he has dealt bountifully with me, and I will sing to the name of Jehovah Most High.
Keiman Yahweh Pakai vahchoi lan sang e ajeh chu Ama keidin thilpha tah eibol peh ati.
