Psalms 126

1 [A Song of Ascents.] When Jehovah brought back those who returned to Zion, we were like those who dream.

١ تَرْنِيمَةُ الْمَصَاعِدِ عِنْدَمَا أَرْجَعَ الرَّبُّ أَهْلَ أُورُشَلِيمَ مِنَ السَّبْيِ، صِرْنَا كَمَنْ يَرَى حُلْماً.

2 Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, "Jehovah has done great things for them."

٢ عِنْدَئِذٍ امْتَلأَتْ أَفْوَاهُنَا ضِحْكاً، وَأَلْسِنَتُنَا تَرَنُّماً. عِنْدَئِذٍ قَالَتِ الأُمَمُ: إِنَّ الرَّبَّ قَدْ أَجْرَى أُمُوراً عَظِيمَةً مَعَ هَؤُلاءِ.

3 Jehovah has done great things for us, and we are glad.

٣ نَعَمْ، إِنَّ الرَّبَّ قَدْ صَنَعَ أُمُوراً عَظِيمَةً لَنَا، فَفَرِحْنَا.

4 Restore our fortunes again, Jehovah, like the streams in the Negev.

٤ أَرْجِعْنَا يَا رَبُّ مِنْ سَبْيِنَا، كَمَا تَرْجِعُ السُّيُولُ إِلَى النَّقَبِ.

5 Those who sow in tears will reap in joy.

٥ فَمَنْ يَزْرَعْ بِالدُّمُوعِ يَحْصُدْ غَلّاتِهِ بِالابْتِهَاجِ.

6 He who goes out weeping, carrying seed for sowing, will certainly come again with joy, carrying his sheaves.

٦ وَمَنْ يَذْهَبْ بَاكِياً حَامِلاً بِذَارَهُ يَرْجِعْ مُتَرَنِّماً حَامِلاً حُزَمَ حَصِيدِهِ.
