Psalms 125

1 [A Song of Ascents.] Those who trust in Jehovah are as Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but remains forever.

١ تَرْنِيمَةُ الْمَصَاعِدِ الْوَاثِقُونَ بِالرَّبِّ هُمْ مِثْلُ جَبَلِ صِهْيَوْنَ الرَّاسِخِ الَّذِي لَا يَتَزَعْزَعُ إِلَى الأَبَدِ.

2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so Jehovah surrounds his people from this time forth and forevermore.

٢ كَمَا تُحِيطُ الْجِبَالُ بِأُورُشَلِيمَ، كَذَلِكَ يُحِيطُ الرَّبُّ بِشَعْبِهِ مِنَ الآنَ وَإِلَى الأَبَدِ،

3 For the scepter of wickedness won't remain over the allotment of the righteous; so that the righteous won't use their hands to do evil.

٣ فَلَا يَتَسَلَّطُ الأَشْرَارُ عَلَى نَصِيبِ الأَبْرَارِ لِئَلّا يَمُدَّ الأَبْرَارُ أَيْدِيَهُمْ إِلَى الإِثْمِ.

4 Do good, Jehovah, to those who are good, to those who are upright in their hearts.

٤ أَحْسِنْ يَا رَبُّ إِلَى الأَخْيَارِ وَإِلَى ذَوِي الْقُلُوبِ الْمُسْتَقِيمَةِ.

5 But as for those who turn aside to their crooked ways, Jehovah will lead them away with evildoers. Peace be on Israel.

٥ أَمَّا الَّذِينَ يَحِيدُونَ إِلَى طُرُقٍ مُلْتَوِيَةٍ، فَإِنَّ الرَّبَّ يَسُوقُهُمْ إِلَى الْهَلاكِ مَعَ فَاعِلِي الإِثْمِ. لِيَكُنِ السَّلامُ لِشَعْبِ إِسْرَائِيلَ.
