Philippians 2
1 If there is therefore any exhortation in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any tender mercies and compassion,
ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਾਦ੍ ਯਦਿ ਕਿਮਪਿ ਸਾਨ੍ਤ੍ਵਨੰ ਕਸ਼੍ਚਿਤ੍ ਪ੍ਰੇਮਜਾਤੋ ਹਰ੍ਸ਼਼ਃ ਕਿਞ੍ਚਿਦ੍ ਆਤ੍ਮਨਃ ਸਮਭਾਗਿਤ੍ਵੰ ਕਾਚਿਦ੍ ਅਨੁਕਮ੍ਪਾ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਪਾ ਵਾ ਜਾਯਤੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਯੂਯੰ ਮਮਾਹ੍ਲਾਦੰ ਪੂਰਯਨ੍ਤ
2 make my joy full, by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind;
ਏਕਭਾਵਾ ਏਕਪ੍ਰੇਮਾਣ ਏਕਮਨਸ ਏਕਚੇਸ਼਼੍ਟਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਭਵਤ|
3 doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself;
ਵਿਰੋਧਾਦ੍ ਦਰ੍ਪਾਦ੍ ਵਾ ਕਿਮਪਿ ਮਾ ਕੁਰੁਤ ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਨਮ੍ਰਤਯਾ ਸ੍ਵੇਭ੍ਯੋ(ਅ)ਪਰਾਨ੍ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼੍ਟਾਨ੍ ਮਨ੍ਯਧ੍ਵੰ|
4 each of you not just looking to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others.
ਕੇਵਲਮ੍ ਆਤ੍ਮਹਿਤਾਯ ਨ ਚੇਸ਼਼੍ਟਮਾਨਾਃ ਪਰਹਿਤਾਯਾਪਿ ਚੇਸ਼਼੍ਟਧ੍ਵੰ|
5 Have this in your attitude, which was also in Christ Jesus,
ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਸ੍ਯ ਯੀਸ਼ੋ ਰ੍ਯਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ਃ ਸ੍ਵਭਾਵੋ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕਮ੍ ਅਪਿ ਤਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ੋ ਭਵਤੁ|
6 who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God a thing to be grasped,
ਸ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਰੂਪੀ ਸਨ੍ ਸ੍ਵਕੀਯਾਮ੍ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਤੁਲ੍ਯਤਾਂ ਸ਼੍ਲਾਘਾਸ੍ਪਦੰ ਨਾਮਨ੍ਯਤ,
7 but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men.
ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਸ੍ਵੰ ਸ਼ੂਨ੍ਯੰ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ ਦਾਸਰੂਪੀ ਬਭੂਵ ਨਰਾਕ੍ਰੁʼਤਿੰ ਲੇਭੇ ਚ|
8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, yes, the death of the cross.
ਇੱਥੰ ਨਰਮੂਰ੍ੱਤਿਮ੍ ਆਸ਼੍ਰਿਤ੍ਯ ਨਮ੍ਰਤਾਂ ਸ੍ਵੀਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਯ ਮ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਯੋਰਰ੍ਥਤਃ ਕ੍ਰੁਸ਼ੀਯਮ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਯੋਰੇਵ ਭੋਗਾਯਾਜ੍ਞਾਗ੍ਰਾਹੀ ਬਭੂਵ|
9 Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name;
ਤਤ੍ਕਾਰਣਾਦ੍ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰੋ(ਅ)ਪਿ ਤੰ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੋੰਨਤੰ ਚਕਾਰ ਯੱਚ ਨਾਮ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਨਾਮ੍ਨਾਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼਼੍ਠੰ ਤਦੇਵ ਤਸ੍ਮੈ ਦਦੌ,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth,
ਤਤਸ੍ਤਸ੍ਮੈ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਨਾਮ੍ਨੇ ਸ੍ਵਰ੍ਗਮਰ੍ਤ੍ਯਪਾਤਾਲਸ੍ਥਿਤੈਃ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੈ ਰ੍ਜਾਨੁਪਾਤਃ ਕਰ੍ੱਤਵ੍ਯਃ,
11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
ਤਾਤਸ੍ਥੇਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਯ ਮਹਿਮ੍ਨੇ ਚ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਃ ਪ੍ਰਭੁਰਿਤਿ ਜਿਹ੍ਵਾਭਿਃ ਸ੍ਵੀਕਰ੍ੱਤਵ੍ਯੰ|
12 So then, my beloved, even as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with awe and reverence.
ਅਤੋ ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਿਯਤਮਾਃ, ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਭਿ ਰ੍ਯਦ੍ਵਤ੍ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਦਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਯਤੇ ਤਦ੍ਵਤ੍ ਕੇਵਲੇ ਮਮੋਪਸ੍ਥਿਤਿਕਾਲੇ ਤੰਨਹਿ ਕਿਨ੍ਤ੍ਵਿਦਾਨੀਮ੍ ਅਨੁਪਸ੍ਥਿਤੇ(ਅ)ਪਿ ਮਯਿ ਬਹੁਤਰਯਤ੍ਨੇਨਾਜ੍ਞਾਂ ਗ੍ਰੁʼਹੀਤ੍ਵਾ ਭਯਕਮ੍ਪਾਭ੍ਯਾਂ ਸ੍ਵਸ੍ਵਪਰਿਤ੍ਰਾਣੰ ਸਾਧ੍ਯਤਾਂ|
13 For it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure.
ਯਤ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰ ਏਵ ਸ੍ਵਕੀਯਾਨੁਰੋਧਾਦ੍ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਨ੍ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਮਨਸ੍ਕਾਮਨਾਂ ਕਰ੍ੰਮਸਿੱਧਿਞ੍ਚ ਵਿਦਧਾਤਿ|
14 Do everything without complaining or arguing,
ਯੂਯੰ ਕਲਹਵਿਵਾਦਰ੍ਵਿਜਤਮ੍ ਆਚਾਰੰ ਕੁਰ੍ੱਵਨ੍ਤੋ(ਅ)ਨਿਨ੍ਦਨੀਯਾ ਅਕੁਟਿਲਾ
15 that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you are seen as lights in the world,
ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਯ ਨਿਸ਼਼੍ਕਲਙ੍ਕਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਸਨ੍ਤਾਨਾਇਵ ਵਕ੍ਰਭਾਵਾਨਾਂ ਕੁਟਿਲਾਚਾਰਿਣਾਞ੍ਚ ਲੋਕਾਨਾਂ ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਤ,
16 holding up the word of life; that I may have something to boast in the day of Christ, that I did not run in vain nor labor in vain.
ਯਤਸ੍ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਯੂਯੰ ਜੀਵਨਵਾਕ੍ਯੰ ਧਾਰਯਨ੍ਤੋ ਜਗਤੋ ਦੀਪਕਾ ਇਵ ਦੀਪ੍ਯਧ੍ਵੇ| ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਭਿਸ੍ਤਥਾ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤੇ ਮਮ ਯਤ੍ਨਃ ਪਰਿਸ਼੍ਰਮੋ ਵਾ ਨ ਨਿਸ਼਼੍ਫਲੋ ਜਾਤ ਇਤ੍ਯਹੰ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਸ੍ਯ ਦਿਨੇ ਸ਼੍ਲਾਘਾਂ ਕਰ੍ੱਤੁੰ ਸ਼ਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਮਿ|
17 Yes, and if I am poured out on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice, and rejoice with you all.
ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਾਸਾਰ੍ਥਕਾਯ ਬਲਿਦਾਨਾਯ ਸੇਵਨਾਯ ਚ ਯਦ੍ਯਪ੍ਯਹੰ ਨਿਵੇਦਿਤਵ੍ਯੋ ਭਵੇਯੰ ਤਥਾਪਿ ਤੇਨਾਨਨ੍ਦਾਮਿ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕਮ੍ ਆਨਨ੍ਦਸ੍ਯਾਂਸ਼ੀ ਭਵਾਮਿ ਚ|
18 In the same way, you also rejoice, and rejoice with me.
ਤਦ੍ਵਦ੍ ਯੂਯਮਪ੍ਯਾਨਨ੍ਦਤ ਮਦੀਯਾਨਨ੍ਦਸ੍ਯਾਂਸ਼ਿਨੋ ਭਵਤ ਚ|
19 But I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, that I also may be cheered up when I know how you are doing.
ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕਮ੍ ਅਵਸ੍ਥਾਮ੍ ਅਵਗਤ੍ਯਾਹਮਪਿ ਯਤ੍ ਸਾਨ੍ਤ੍ਵਨਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪ੍ਨੁਯਾਂ ਤਦਰ੍ਥੰ ਤੀਮਥਿਯੰ ਤ੍ਵਰਯਾ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਤ੍ਸਮੀਪੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼਼ਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਮੀਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੌ ਪ੍ਰਤ੍ਯਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਕੁਰ੍ੱਵੇ|
20 For I have no one else like-minded, who will truly care about you.
ਯਃ ਸਤ੍ਯਰੂਪੇਣ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਹਿਤੰ ਚਿਨ੍ਤਯਤਿ ਤਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ ਏਕਭਾਵਸ੍ਤਸ੍ਮਾਦਨ੍ਯਃ ਕੋ(ਅ)ਪਿ ਮਮ ਸੰਨਿਧੌ ਨਾਸ੍ਤਿ|
21 For they all seek their own, not the things of Jesus Christ.
ਯਤੋ(ਅ)ਪਰੇ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇ ਯੀਸ਼ੋਃ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਸ੍ਯ ਵਿਸ਼਼ਯਾਨ੍ ਨ ਚਿਨ੍ਤਯਨ੍ਤ ਆਤ੍ਮਵਿਸ਼਼ਯਾਨ੍ ਚਿਨ੍ਤਯਨ੍ਤਿ|
22 But you know the proof of him, that, as a child serves a father, so he served with me in furtherance of the Good News.
ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਪਰੀਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਿਤਤ੍ਵੰ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਭਿ ਰ੍ਜ੍ਞਾਯਤੇ ਯਤਃ ਪੁਤ੍ਰੋ ਯਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਕ੍ ਪਿਤੁਃ ਸਹਕਾਰੀ ਭਵਤਿ ਤਥੈਵ ਸੁਸੰਵਾਦਸ੍ਯ ਪਰਿਚਰ੍ੱਯਾਯਾਂ ਸ ਮਮ ਸਹਕਾਰੀ ਜਾਤਃ|
23 Therefore I hope to send him at once, as soon as I see how it will go with me.
ਅਤਏਵ ਮਮ ਭਾਵਿਦਸ਼ਾਂ ਜ੍ਞਾਤ੍ਵਾ ਤਤ੍ਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਣਾਤ੍ ਤਮੇਵ ਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼਼ਯਿਤੁੰ ਪ੍ਰਤ੍ਯਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਕੁਰ੍ੱਵੇ
24 But I trust in the Lord that I myself also will come shortly.
ਸ੍ਵਯਮ੍ ਅਹਮਪਿ ਤੂਰ੍ਣੰ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਤ੍ਸਮੀਪੰ ਗਮਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਮੀਤ੍ਯਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੁਨਾ ਕੁਰ੍ੱਵੇ|
25 But I counted it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, fellow worker, fellow soldier, and your apostle and servant of my need;
ਅਪਰੰ ਯ ਇਪਾਫ੍ਰਦੀਤੋ ਮਮ ਭ੍ਰਾਤਾ ਕਰ੍ੰਮਯੁੱਧਾਭ੍ਯਾਂ ਮਮ ਸਹਾਯਸ਼੍ਚ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਦੂਤੋ ਮਦੀਯੋਪਕਾਰਾਯ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਨਿਧਿਸ਼੍ਚਾਸ੍ਤਿ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਤ੍ਸਮੀਪੇ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼਼ਣਮ੍ ਆਵਸ਼੍ਯਕਮ੍ ਅਮਨ੍ਯੇ|
26 since he longed for you all, and was very troubled, because you had heard that he was sick.
ਯਤਃ ਸ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਾਨ੍ ਅਕਾਙ੍ਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਤ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਭਿਸ੍ਤਸ੍ਯ ਰੋਗਸ੍ਯ ਵਾਰ੍ੱਤਾਸ਼੍ਰਾਵੀਤਿ ਬੁੱਧ੍ਵਾ ਪਰ੍ੱਯਸ਼ੋਚੱਚ|
27 For indeed he was sick, nearly to death, but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, that I might not have sorrow on sorrow.
ਸ ਪੀਡਯਾ ਮ੍ਰੁʼਤਕਲ੍ਪੋ(ਅ)ਭਵਦਿਤਿ ਸਤ੍ਯੰ ਕਿਨ੍ਤ੍ਵੀਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਤੰ ਦਯਿਤਵਾਨ੍ ਮਮ ਚ ਦੁਃਖਾਤ੍ ਪਰੰ ਪੁਨਰ੍ਦੁਃਖੰ ਯੰਨ ਭਵੇਤ੍ ਤਦਰ੍ਥੰ ਕੇਵਲੰ ਤੰ ਨ ਦਯਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਮਾਮਪਿ ਦਯਿਤਵਾਨ੍|
28 I have sent him all the more eagerly, therefore, so that when you see him again you may rejoice, and that I may be less anxious.
ਅਤਏਵ ਯੂਯੰ ਤੰ ਵਿਲੋਕ੍ਯ ਯਤ੍ ਪੁਨਰਾਨਨ੍ਦੇਤ ਮਮਾਪਿ ਦੁਃਖਸ੍ਯ ਹ੍ਰਾਸੋ ਯਦ੍ ਭਵੇਤ੍ ਤਦਰ੍ਥਮ੍ ਅਹੰ ਤ੍ਵਰਯਾ ਤਮ੍ ਅਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼਼ਯੰ|
29 Receive him therefore in the Lord with all joy, and hold such in honor,
ਅਤੋ ਯੂਯੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੋਃ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤੇ ਸਮ੍ਪੂਰ੍ਣੇਨਾਨਨ੍ਦੇਨ ਤੰ ਗ੍ਰੁʼਹ੍ਲੀਤ ਤਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ਾਨ੍ ਲੋਕਾਂਸ਼੍ਚਾਦਰਣੀਯਾਨ੍ ਮਨ੍ਯਧ੍ਵੰ|
30 because for the work of Christ he came near to death, risking his life to supply that which was lacking in your service toward me.
ਯਤੋ ਮਮ ਸੇਵਨੇ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਤ੍ਰੁਟਿੰ ਪੂਰਯਿਤੁੰ ਸ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾਨ੍ ਪਣੀਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਯ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਸ੍ਯ ਕਾਰ੍ੱਯਾਰ੍ਥੰ ਮ੍ਰੁʼਤਪ੍ਰਾਯੇ(ਅ)ਭਵਤ੍|
