Numbers 34
1 Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
TUHAN memberi kepada Musa
2 "Command the children of Israel, and tell them, 'When you come into the land of Canaan (this is the land that shall fall to you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan according to its borders),
perintah-perintah ini untuk bangsa Israel, "Sebentar lagi kamu masuk ke negeri Kanaan, negeri yang Kuberikan kepadamu sebagai tanah pusaka. Inilah batas-batas negerimu itu.
3 then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the side of Edom, and your south border shall be from the end of the Salt Sea eastward;
Di selatan, batas itu mulai dari padang gurun Zin menyusuri Edom. Di timur batas itu mulai dari ujung selatan Laut Mati,
4 and your border shall turn about southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass along to Zin; and the goings out of it shall be southward of Kadesh Barnea; and it shall go forth to Hazar Addar, and pass along to Azmon;
belok ke selatan menuju Jalan Akrabim dan terus ke Zin sampai Kades-Barnea di selatan. Dari situ belok ke barat laut sampai Hazar-Adar, dan terus ke Azmon.
5 and the border shall turn about from Azmon to the Wadi of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the sea.
Di situ belok ke lembah di perbatasan Mesir dan berakhir di Laut Tengah.
6 "'For the western border, the Great Sea shall be a border to you; this shall be your west border.
Laut Tengah merupakan batas negerimu di sebelah barat.
7 "'This shall be your north border: from the Great Sea you shall mark out for you Mount Hor;
Di utara, batas itu mulai di Laut Tengah menuju ke Gunung Hor
8 from Mount Hor you shall mark out to Lebo Hamath; and the goings out of the border shall be at Zedad;
dan dari situ ke Jalan Hamat, lalu terus ke Zedad
9 and the border shall go forth to Ziphron, and the goings out of it shall be at Hazar Enan: this shall be your north border.
dan ke Zifron dan berakhir di Hazar-Enan.
10 "'You shall mark out your east border from Hazar Enan to Shepham;
Di timur, batas itu mulai dari Hazar-Enan ke Sefam.
11 and the border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall go down, and shall reach to the side of the sea of Kinnereth eastward;
Dari situ turun ke Ribla di sebelah timur Ain, lalu terus ke bukit-bukit di pantai timur Danau Galilea,
12 and the border shall go down to the Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the Salt Sea. This shall be your land according to its borders around it.'"
lalu ke selatan sepanjang Sungai Yordan sampai ke Laut Mati. Itulah negerimu menurut batas-batas di sekelilingnya."
13 Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, "This is the land which you shall inherit by lot, which Jehovah has commanded to give to the nine tribes, and to the half-tribe;
Musa berkata kepada bangsa Israel, "Itulah tanah yang akan kamu terima dengan cara membuang undi, tanah yang menurut perintah TUHAN harus dibagikan kepada sembilan setengah suku bangsa Israel.
14 for the tribe of the people of Reuben according to their fathers' houses, and the tribe of the people of Gad according to their fathers' houses, have received, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received, their inheritance:
Suku-suku Ruben dan Gad serta sebagian dari suku Manasye sudah menerima bagian mereka, dan tanah itu pun sudah dibagikan kepada keluarga-keluarga mereka.
15 the two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan at Jericho eastward, toward the sunrise."
Tanah pusaka mereka itu di sebelah timur Sungai Yordan, di dekat kota Yerikho."
16 Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
TUHAN berkata kepada Musa,
17 "These are the names of the men who shall divide the land to you for inheritance: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.
"Yang harus membagikan tanah itu di antara kamu adalah Imam Eleazar, dan Yosua anak Nun.
18 You shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land for inheritance.
Tunjuklah juga seorang pemimpin dari setiap suku untuk menolong Eleazar dan Yosua membagikan tanah itu."
19 These are the names of the men: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
Nama orang-orang itu adalah: (Suku-Pemimpin), Yuda-Kaleb anak Yefune, Simeon-Samuel anak Amihud, Benyamin-Elidad anak Kislon, Dan-Buki anak Yogli, Manasye-Haniel anak Efod, Efraim-Kemuel anak Siftan, Zebulon-Elisafan anak Parnah, Isakhar-Paltiel anak Azan, Asyer-Ahihud anak Selomi, Naftali-Pedael anak Amihud.
20 Of the tribe of the people of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.
21 Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.
22 Of the tribe of the people of Dan a prince, Bukki the son of Jogli.
23 Of the people of Joseph: of the tribe of the people of Manasseh a prince, Hanniel the son of Ephod.
24 Of the tribe of the people of Ephraim a prince, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.
25 Of the tribe of the people of Zebulun a prince, Elizaphan the son of Parnach.
26 Of the tribe of the people of Issachar a prince, Paltiel the son of Azzan.
27 Of the tribe of the people of Asher a prince, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.
28 Of the tribe of the people of Naphtali a prince, Pedahel the son of Ammihud."
29 These are they whom Jehovah commanded to divide the inheritance to the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.
Itulah orang-orang yang diperintahkan TUHAN untuk membagikan tanah pusaka kepada bangsa Israel di negeri Kanaan.
