< Micah 7 >

1 Misery is mine. Indeed, I am like one who gathers the summer fruits, as gleanings of the vineyard: There is no cluster of grapes to eat. My soul desires to eat the early fig.
Baba nam! Elabena mele ko abe ame aɖe si le kutsetse dim vevie le ati dzi le esi nuŋeɣi nu va yi vɔ la ene. Elabena nyemekpɔ kutsetse ɖiɖi aɖeke agbe, aɖu, atsɔ atsi nye dɔwuame nu o.
2 The faithful have vanished from the earth, and there is no one upright among men. They all lie in wait for blood; every man hunts his brother with a net.
Alea kee ame nyuiwo hã vɔ le anyigba la dzi. Mate ŋu akpɔ ame ɖɔʋu ɖeka hɔ̃ɔ hã o. Ame sia ame le klalo be yeakɔ ʋu ɖi eye ame sia ame ɖo ɖɔ ɖi na nɔvia.
3 Their hands are on that which is evil to do it diligently. The ruler and judge ask for a bribe; and the powerful man dictates the evil desire of his soul. Thus they conspire together.
Woƒe asi eveawo bi ɖe nu vɔ̃ɖi wɔwɔ me. Dziɖula xɔa zãnu eye ʋɔnudrɔ̃la tsoa afia na ame si na zãnue. Kesinɔtɔwo ɖoa nu si dim wole; ale ame siawo blaa nu ɖekae hewɔna.
4 The best of them is like a brier. The most upright is worse than a thorn hedge. The day of your watchmen, even your visitation, has come; now is the time of their confusion.
Ame nyuitɔ si nàkpɔ le wo dome la le ko abe ŋu si tɔa ame ene eye woƒe nuteƒewɔla vɔ̃ɖi wu ŋukpɔtɔtɔ. Ke miaƒe gbetakpɔlawo ƒe ŋkeke la ɖo vɔ. Gbe si gbe Mawu ava asrã mi kpɔ la tu aƒe. Azɔ ɣeyiɣi si tɔtɔ aɖo wo dome la ɖo vɔ.
5 Do not trust in a neighbor. Do not put confidence in a friend. With the woman lying in your embrace, be careful of the words of your mouth.
Mègaxɔ wò aƒelika dzi se o. Mègaɖo dzi ɖe xɔ̃wò ŋu o. Nya ale si nàƒo nu le nyɔnu si le akɔwò nu la gɔ̃ hã gbɔ
6 For the son dishonors the father, the daughter rises up against her mother, the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house.

Ke nye la, mele ŋudzɔ le mɔ kpɔm na Yehowa. Mele lalam na Mawu, nye Ɖela. Ɛ̃, nye Mawu aɖo tom hã.
8 Do not rejoice against me, my enemy. When I fall, I will arise. When I sit in darkness, Jehovah will be a light to me.
O nye futɔ, dzi megadzɔ wò le nye anyidzedze ŋuti o; togbɔ be medze anyi hã la, magafɔ ɖe tsitre! Ne menɔ anyi ɖe viviti tsiɖitsiɖi me hã, Yehowa ŋutɔ anye nye kekeli.
9 I will bear the indignation of Jehovah, because I have sinned against him, until he pleads my case, and executes judgment for me. He will bring me forth to the light. I will see his righteousness.
Esi meda vo ɖe Yehowa ŋuti ta la mabɔbɔ ɖe eƒe dɔmedzoe te va se ɖe esime wòadrɔ̃ nye nya eye wòatso afia nam, ekema akplɔm va kekeli me eye makpɔ eƒe dzɔdzɔenyenye.
10 Then my enemy will see it, and shame will cover her who said to me, where is Jehovah your God? Then my enemy will see me and will cover her shame. Now she will be trodden down like the mire of the streets.
Ekema nye futɔ akpɔe eye ŋu akpee. Eya ame si bia be, “Afi ka Yehowa wò Mawu la le?” Azɔ mekpɔ eƒe anyidzedze kple nye ŋkuwo kple ale si woanyamae abe ba ene.

14 Shepherd your people with your staff, the flock of your heritage, who dwell by themselves in a forest, in the midst of fertile pasture land, let them feed; in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.

16 The nations will see and be ashamed of all their might. They will lay their hand on their mouth. Their ears will be deaf.

17 They will lick the dust like a serpent. Like crawling creatures of the earth they shall come trembling out of their dens. They will come with fear to Jehovah our God, and will be afraid because of you.
18 Who is a God like you, who pardons iniquity, and passes over the disobedience of the remnant of his heritage? He doesn't retain his anger forever, because he delights in loving kindness.
Afi ka woagakpɔ Mawu bubu le wòanɔ abe wò si tsɔa wò domenyinu mamlɛawo ƒe nu vɔ̃wo kple dzidadawo kena la ene? Mèdoa dɔmedzoe ɖikaa o, ke boŋ èkpɔa dzidzɔ le amenuveve ŋuti.
19 He will again have compassion on us. He will tread our iniquities under foot; and you will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
Àgakpɔ nublanui na mí, atiti afɔ ɖe míaƒe nu vɔ̃wo dzi eye àtsɔ míaƒe dzidadawo katã aƒu gbe ɖe atsiaƒu ƒe gogloƒe ke!
20 You will give truth to Jacob, and mercy to Abraham, as you have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.
