< Matthew 13 >

1 On that day Jesus went out of the house, and sat by the seaside.
NI ran ota Iesus kotila sang nan im o, ap kaipokedi pon oror.
2 And large crowds gathered to him, so that he entered into a boat, and sat, and all the crowd stood on the beach.
A pokon kalaimun pokon dong i, i ari kotidang pon sop pot, kaipokedi, a pokon o udar pon oror o.
3 And he spoke to them many things in parables, saying, "Look, a farmer went out to sow.
I ari karaseraseki ong me toto masani: Kilang, saunkamor o kolan kamorok.
4 And as he sowed, some seeds fell by the roadside, and the birds came and devoured them.
Ni a kamokamorok, akai ap moredier ong pon kailan al, manpir ap pirido nam ir ala.
5 And others fell on rocky ground, where they did not have much soil, and immediately they sprang up, because they had no depth of earth.
A akai moredier wasa takain, wasa pwel pedeped; ir ari pitipit wosadar pweki sota pwel lole.
6 But when the sun had risen, they were scorched. Because they had no root, they withered away.
A katipin lao dakaradar, re motoredier o mongelar, pweki sota kalau ar.
7 Others fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked them.
A akai moredier nan tuka teketek; a tuka teketek wosadar kasoka ir ala.
8 Still others fell on good soil, and yielded fruit: some one hundred times as much, some sixty, and some thirty.
A akai moredier nan pwel mau o wadar: Akai pan me epuki, akai me woneisok, akai me sileisok.
9 He who has ears, let him hear."
Me salong a mia, men rong, i en rong!
10 Then the disciples came, and said to him, "Why do you speak to them in parables?"
Tounpadak kan ap pwarado potoan ong i: Da me re kotin kaukawewe ong irail ni karaseras akan?
11 And answering, he said to them, "To you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but it is not given to them.
A kotin sapeng masani ong irail: A muei ong komail er, en asa, me rir en wein nanlang, a ap sota muei ong mepukat.
12 For whoever has, to him will be given, and he will have abundance, but whoever does not have, from him will be taken away even that which he has.
Pwe me a mia, ekis pan ko ong, pwen aneki me laud; a me sota a mia, nan a pan katia sang, me mi re a.
13 Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing, they do not hear, neither do they understand.
I me I padaki ong irail ni karaseras. Pwe re kilang wasa, ap sota kin kilang, o rong wasa, ap sota kin rong, pwe re sota kin dedeki.
14 And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says, 'In hearing you will hear, but will not understand, and seeing you will see, but not perceive.
Nan irail kapung pan kokop en Iesaia, me masanier: Komail pan rongki salong omail, ap sota dedeki, o kilangki mas omail, ap sota weweki.
15 For the heart of this people has grown dull, and their ears are sluggish in hearing, and they have closed their eyes, otherwise they might see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and turn back, and I would heal them.'
16 "But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear.
A mas omail meid pai, pwe re kilang wasa, o salong omail, pwe re rong wasa.
17 For truly I tell you that many prophets and righteous people desired to see the things which you see, and did not see them; and to hear the things which you hear, and did not hear them.
Pwe melel I indai ong komail, saukop o me pung akan me toto, me anane en kilang, me komail kin kilekilang, ap sota kilanger, o en rong, me komail kin rongerong, a re sota rongadar.
18 "Hear, then, the parable of the farmer.
Komail ari rong karasepa wet duen saunkamorok:
19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, the evil one comes, and snatches away that which has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown by the roadside.
Meamen rong masan duen wei o ap sota dedeki, me sued ap pwarado, katia sang, me kamoremoredier nan mongiong i, a iei i, me ale war akan pon kailan al o.
20 And what was sown on the rocky places, this is he who hears the word, and immediately with joy receives it;
A me kamoremoredier wasa takain, iei i, me kin rongada masan o, ap pitipit peren kida ale;
21 yet he has no root in himself, but endures for a while. When oppression or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles.
A sota kalau a re a, pwe a lol masarang, pwe ansau apwal o kamekam lao pwaida pweki masan o, a ap madang makar kida.
22 And what was sown among the thorns, this is he who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. (aiōn g165)
A me kamoremoredi ong nan tuka teketek, iei i, me kin rongada masan o, a anan en pai en sappa o widing en dipisou kang kin kasokela masan o, ap so wa. (aiōn g165)
23 And what was sown on the good ground, this is he who hears the word, and understands it, who truly bears fruit, and brings forth, some one hundred times as much, some sixty, and some thirty."
A me kamoremoredi nan pwel mau, iei i, me kin rongada masan o, ap dedeki o wada; akai kin pan me epuki, a akai me woneisok, a akai sileisok.
24 He set another parable before them, saying, "The kingdom of heaven is like a person who sowed good seed in his field,
A kotiki ong irail er pil apot karaseras masani: Wein nanlang rasong aramas amen, me kamoredi war mau nan sap we.
25 but while everyone slept, his enemy came and sowed tares also among the wheat, and went away.
A aramas lao mairelar, a imwintiti ap pwarado kamoredier dip nan pung en korn ap koieila.
26 But when the blade sprang up and brought forth fruit, then the tares appeared also.
A tuka lao wosadar o wadar, dip ap pil pwaradar.
27 So the servants of the householder came and said to him, 'Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? Where did these tares come from?'
Ladu en kaun pan im o kan ap pwara dong i potoan ong i: Maing, kaidin war mau, me kom kotin kamoredier nan sap omui? A iaduen dip, a ko sang ia?
28 "And he said to them, 'An enemy has done this.' "And the servants asked him, 'Then do you want us to go and gather them up?'
A masani ong irail: Aramas mor sued amen me wiadar. Ladu kan ap potoan ong i: Kom kotin mauki, sen kola matiada sang?
29 "But he said, 'No, lest perhaps while you gather up the tares, you root up the wheat with them.
A masani: Iermen, pwe komail der matia sang dip iangaki korn.
30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and in the harvest time I will tell the reapers, "First, gather up the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them; but gather the wheat into my barn."'"
A karos pan mimieta lao ansaun rak; ni ansaun rak i pan indang men dolung kan: Ki pena mas dip akan, pira pena ni kap akan, pwe aramas en karongala, a korn ki pena nan ai im en nak.
31 He set another parable before them, saying, "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed which a man took and sowed in his field;
A kotiki ong irail pil apot karaseras masani: Wein nanlang rasong wan tuka eu, me aramas amen ale, padukedi ong nan sap we,
32 which indeed is least of all the seeds. But when it has grown it is larger than the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches."
Me tikitik sang war karos, a a lao wosada, a kalaimun sang dip akan, o wiala tuka laud apot, manpir en pan lang akan ap pokon pena o mimi nan ra a kan.
33 He spoke another parable to them. "The kingdom of heaven is like yeast, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, until it was all leavened."
A pilapot karaseras me a kotin masani ong irail: Wein nanlang rasong kalep kis, me li amen ale okila nan kasak en plaua silu, karos lao mutala.
34 Jesus spoke all these things in parables to the crowds; and without a parable, he did not speak to them,
Mepukat karos Iesus kotin padapadaki ni karaseras ong pokon o, o sota, me a kotin padaki ong irail, ma sota ni karaseras.
35 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet, saying, "I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden since the beginning of the world."
Pwen pwaida me lokido ren saukop o, me masani: I pan ki pasang au ai, pwen karaseras o pan kasansaleda me rir akan sang ni tapin kaua.
36 Then Jesus sent the crowds away, and went into the house. His disciples came to him, saying, "Explain to us the parable of the tares in the field."
A ap kotin kadar pasang pokon o, kotilong ong nan tanpas o. Sapwilim a tounpadak kan ap kai dong i potoan ong: Re kotin kawewe ong kit karasepan dip nan matual o.
37 And he answered them, "The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man,
A kotin sapeng masani: Me kamoredi war mau, iei Nain aramas.
38 and the field is the world; and the good seed, these are the children of the Kingdom; and the tares are the children of the evil one,
Matuel iei sappa. War mau iei toun wei. Dip iei nain mesued.
39 and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels. (aiōn g165)
Imwintiti, me kin kamor ir edi, iei tewil. Rak me kaimwisoke pan sappa. Saundolung pene iei tounlang kan. (aiōn g165)
40 As therefore the tares are gathered up and burned with fire; so will it be at the end of the age. (aiōn g165)
A duen dip akan a kin usa sang rong kila kisiniai, iduen a pan wiaui ni imwin kaua. (aiōn g165)
41 The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all things that cause stumbling, and those who do iniquity,

42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be weeping and the grinding of teeth.
O re pan kasapok ir alang len kisiniai iei wasan mamaiei o teterok.
43 Then the righteous will shine forth like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.
Me pung kan ap pan lingaling dueta katipin nan wein Sam arail. Me salong a mia, men rong, i en rong!
44 "The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found, and hid. In his joy, he goes and sells all that he has, and buys that field.
Wein nanlang rasong pai eu, me rir nan matuel, me aramas amen diaradar ap okila, o peren kida, koieila, netikilar karos, me a naineki, ap netiadar matuel o.
45 "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a man who is a merchant seeking fine pearls,
Wein nanlang pil rasong saunet amen, me raparapaki takai kasampwal kai.
46 and having found one pearl of great price, he went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
A lao diaradar eu, me kasampwalia, ap koieila netikilar a dipisou karos, netiada i.
47 "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet, that was cast into the sea, and gathered some fish of every kind,
Wein nanlang pil rasong uk apot, me kin kadudi nan sed, pwen oro pena song karos.
48 which, when it was filled, they drew up on the beach. They sat down, and gathered the good into containers, but the bad they threw away.

49 So will it be in the end of the world. The angels will come forth, and separate the wicked from among the righteous, (aiōn g165)
Nan iduen a pan wiaui ni imwin kaua: Tounlang kan pan koieila, katoror sang me sued akan me pung kan. (aiōn g165)
50 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be the weeping and the grinding of teeth."
O kasapok ir alang len kisiniai, iei wasan maiei o teterok.
51 "Have you understood all these things?" They answered him, "Yes."
Iesus kotin masani ong irail: Komail weweki mepukat karos? Re potoan ong: Ei Maing.
52 And he said to them, "Therefore, every scribe who has been made a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like a man who is a householder, who brings out of his treasure new and old things."
A ap kotin masani ong irail: I me saunkawewe karos, me sukusukuleki wein nanlang me rasong kaun pan im eu, me kin kapwareda sang a pai me kap o me maring.
53 And it happened that when Jesus had finished these parables, he departed from there.
Kadekadeo Iesus lao kaimwisokela karaseras pukat, ap kotin koieila sang wasa o.
54 And coming into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished, and said, "Where did this man get this wisdom, and these mighty works?
A koti dong udan sap we kawewe ong irail nan ar sinakoke. Irail ari puriamui kila indada: Lolekong en Ol men et o a manaman akan ko sang ia?

57 And they were offended by him. But Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor, except in his own country, and in his own house."
O irail makar kin i. A Iesus kotin masani ong irail: Sota wasa me saukop so waui ia, nan sap we ota o ren sau i ko.
58 And he did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
I ari sota wiadar manaman toto wasa o pweki ar soposon.
