Mark 7
1 Then the Pharisees, and some of the scribes gathered together to him, having come from Jerusalem.
අනන්තරං යිරූශාලම ආගතාඃ ඵිරූශිනෝ(අ)ධ්‍යාපකාශ්ච යීශෝඃ සමීපම් ආගතාඃ|
2 Now when they saw some of his disciples eating bread with defiled, that is, unwashed, hands, they found fault.
තේ තස්‍ය කියතඃ ශිෂ්‍යාන් අශුචිකරෛරර්ථාද අප්‍රක්‍ෂාලිතහස්තෛ ර්භුඤ්ජතෝ දෘෂ්ට්වා තානදූෂයන්|
3 (For the Pharisees, and all Jewish people, do not eat unless they wash their hands and forearms, holding to the Tradition of the Elders.
යතඃ ඵිරූශිනඃ සර්ව්වයිහූදීයාශ්ච ප්‍රාචාං පරම්පරාගතවාක්‍යං සම්මන්‍ය ප්‍රතලේන හස්තාන් අප්‍රක්‍ෂාල්‍ය න භුඤ්ජතේ|
4 They do not eat when they come from the marketplace unless they wash. And there are many other things which they have received and hold to, the washing of cups and pitchers and copper vessels and dining couches.)
ආපනාදාගත්‍ය මජ්ජනං විනා න ඛාදන්ති; තථා පානපාත්‍රාණාං ජලපාත්‍රාණාං පිත්තලපාත්‍රාණාම් ආසනානාඤ්ච ජලේ මජ්ජනම් ඉත්‍යාදයෝන්‍යේපි බහවස්තේෂාමාචාරාඃ සන්ති|
5 The Pharisees and the scribes asked him, "Why do your disciples not walk according to the Tradition of the Elders, but eat their bread with unwashed hands?"
තේ ඵිරූශිනෝ(අ)ධ්‍යාපකාශ්ච යීශුං පප්‍රච්ඡුඃ, තව ශිෂ්‍යාඃ ප්‍රාචාං පරම්පරාගතවාක්‍යානුසාරේණ නාචරන්තෝ(අ)ප්‍රක්‍ෂාලිතකරෛඃ කුතෝ භුජංතේ?
6 He said to them, "Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, 'This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
තතඃ ස ප්‍රත්‍යුවාච කපටිනෝ යුෂ්මාන් උද්දිශ්‍ය යිශයියභවිෂ්‍යද්වාදී යුක්තමවාදීත්| යථා ස්වකීයෛරධරෛරේතේ සම්මන්‍යනතේ සදෛව මාං| කින්තු මත්තෝ විප්‍රකර්ෂේ සන්ති තේෂාං මනාංසි ච|
7 And in vain do they worship me, teaching instructions that are the commandments of humans.'
ශික්‍ෂයන්තෝ බිධීන් න්නාඥා භජන්තේ මාං මුධෛව තේ|
8 "For you set aside the commandment of God, and hold tightly to human tradition."
යූයං ජලපාත්‍රපානපාත්‍රාදීනි මජ්ජයන්තෝ මනුජපරම්පරාගතවාක්‍යං රක්‍ෂථ කින්තු ඊශ්වරාඥාං ලංඝධ්වේ; අපරා ඊදෘශ්‍යෝනේකාඃ ක්‍රියා අපි කුරුධ්වේ|
9 He said to them, "Full well do you reject the commandment of God, that you may establish your tradition.
අන්‍යඤ්චාකථයත් යූයං ස්වපරම්පරාගතවාක්‍යස්‍ය රක්‍ෂාර්ථං ස්පෂ්ටරූපේණ ඊශ්වරාඥාං ලෝපයථ|
10 For Moses said, 'Honor your father and your mother;' and, 'Anyone who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.'
යතෝ මූසාද්වාරා ප්‍රෝක්තමස්ති ස්වපිතරෞ සම්මන්‍යධ්වං යස්තු මාතරං පිතරං වා දුර්ව්වාක්‍යං වක්ති ස නිතාන්තං හන්‍යතාං|
11 But you say, 'If anyone tells his father or mother, "Whatever profit you might have received from me is Corban, that is to say, given to God;"'
කින්තු මදීයේන යේන ද්‍රව්‍යේණ තවෝපකාරෝභවත් තත් කර්බ්බාණමර්ථාද් ඊශ්වරාය නිවේදිතම් ඉදං වාක්‍යං යදි කෝපි පිතරං මාතරං වා වක්ති
12 then you no longer allow him to do anything for his father or his mother,
තර්හි යූයං මාතුඃ පිතු ර්වෝපකාරං කර්ත්තාං තං වාරයථ|
13 making void the word of God by your tradition, which you have handed down. You do many things like this."
ඉත්ථං ස්වප්‍රචාරිතපරම්පරාගතවාක්‍යේන යූයම් ඊශ්වරාඥාං මුධා විධද්ව්වේ, ඊදෘශාන්‍යන්‍යාන්‍යනේකානි කර්ම්මාණි කුරුධ්වේ|
14 And he called the crowd to himself again, and said to them, "Hear me, all of you, and understand.
අථ ස ලෝකානාහූය බභාෂේ යූයං සර්ව්වේ මද්වාක්‍යං ශෘණුත බුධ්‍යධ්වඤ්ච|
15 There is nothing from outside of the person, that going into him can defile him; but the things which proceed out of the person are what defile the person."
බාහ්‍යාදන්තරං ප්‍රවිශ්‍ය නරමමේධ්‍යං කර්ත්තාං ශක්නෝති ඊදෘශං කිමපි වස්තු නාස්ති, වරම් අන්තරාද් බහිර්ගතං යද්වස්තු තන්මනුජම් අමේධ්‍යං කරෝති|
යස්‍ය ශ්‍රෝතුං ශ්‍රෝත්‍රේ ස්තඃ ස ශෘණෝතු|
17 When he had entered into a house away from the crowd, his disciples asked him about the parable.
තතඃ ස ලෝකාන් හිත්වා ගෘහමධ්‍යං ප්‍රවිෂ්ටස්තදා ශිෂ්‍යාස්තදෘෂ්ටාන්තවාක්‍යාර්ථං පප්‍රච්ඡුඃ|
18 He said to them, "Are you thus without understanding also? Do you not perceive that whatever goes into the person from outside cannot defile him,
තස්මාත් ස තාන් ජගාද යූයමපි කිමේතාදෘගබෝධාඃ? කිමපි ද්‍රව්‍යං බාහ්‍යාදන්තරං ප්‍රවිශ්‍ය නරමමේධ්‍යං කර්ත්තාං න ශක්නෝති කථාමිමාං කිං න බුධ්‍යධ්වේ?
19 because it does not go into his heart, but into his stomach, then into the latrine, cleansing all the foods?"
තත් තදන්තර්න ප්‍රවිශති කින්තු කුක්‍ෂිමධ්‍යං ප්‍රවිශති ශේෂේ සර්ව්වභුක්තවස්තුග්‍රාහිණි බහිර්දේශේ නිර‍්‍යාති|
20 He said, "That which proceeds out of the man, that defiles the man.
අපරමප්‍යවාදීද් යන්නරාන්නිරේති තදේව නරමමේධ්‍යං කරෝති|
21 For from within, out of a person's heart, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, sexual sins, murders, thefts,
යතෝ(අ)න්තරාද් අර්ථාන් මානවානාං මනෝභ්‍යඃ කුචින්තා පරස්ත්‍රීවේශ්‍යාගමනං
22 covetings, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, and foolishness.
නරවධශ්චෞර‍්‍ය්‍යං ලෝභෝ දුෂ්ටතා ප්‍රවඤ්චනා කාමුකතා කුදෘෂ්ටිරීශ්වරනින්දා ගර්ව්වස්තම ඉත්‍යාදීනි නිර්ගච්ඡන්ති|
23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man."
ඒතානි සර්ව්වාණි දුරිතාන්‍යන්තරාදේත්‍ය නරමමේධ්‍යං කුර්ව්වන්ති|
24 From there he arose, and went away into the region of Tyre and Sidon. He entered into a house, and did not want anyone to know it, but he could not escape notice.
අථ ස උත්ථාය තත්ස්ථානාත් සෝරසීදෝන්පුරප්‍රදේශං ජගාම තත්‍ර කිමපි නිවේශනං ප්‍රවිශ්‍ය සර්ව්වෛරඥාතඃ ස්ථාතුං මතිඤ්චක්‍රේ කින්තු ගුප්තඃ ස්ථාතුං න ශශාක|
25 But immediately a woman whose young daughter had an unclean spirit heard of him and came and fell at his feet.
යතඃ සුරඵෛනිකීදේශීයයූනානීවංශෝද්භවස්ත්‍රියාඃ කන්‍යා භූතග්‍රස්තාසීත්| සා ස්ත්‍රී තද්වාර්ත්තාං ප්‍රාප්‍ය තත්සමීපමාගත්‍ය තච්චරණයෝඃ පතිත්වා
26 Now the woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by race. She begged him that he would cast the demon out of her daughter.
ස්වකන්‍යාතෝ භූතං නිරාකර්ත්තාං තස්මින් විනයං කෘතවතී|
27 But he said to her, "Let the children be filled first, for it is not appropriate to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs."
කින්තු යීශුස්තාමවදත් ප්‍රථමං බාලකාස්තෘප්‍යන්තු යතෝ බාලකානාං ඛාද්‍යං ගෘහීත්වා කුක්කුරේභ්‍යෝ නික්‍ෂේපෝ(අ)නුචිතඃ|
28 But she answered him, "Yes, Sir. Yet even the dogs under the table eat the children's crumbs."
තදා සා ස්ත්‍රී තමවාදීත් භෝඃ ප්‍රභෝ තත් සත්‍යං තථාපි මඤ්චාධඃස්ථාඃ කුක්කුරා බාලානාං කරපතිතානි ඛාද්‍යඛණ්ඩානි ඛාදන්ති|
29 He said to her, "For this saying, go your way. The demon has gone out of your daughter."
තතඃ සෝ(අ)කථයද් ඒතත්කථාහේතෝඃ සකුශලා යාහි තව කන්‍යාං ත්‍යක්ත්වා භූතෝ ගතඃ|
30 And when she went away to her house, she found the child lying on the bed, the demon having left.
අථ සා ස්ත්‍රී ගෘහං ගත්වා කන්‍යාං භූතත්‍යක්තාං ශය්‍යාස්ථිතාං දදර්ශ|
31 Again he departed from the borders of Tyre, and came through Sidon to the sea of Galilee, through the midst of the region of Decapolis.
පුනශ්ච ස සෝරසීදෝන්පුරප්‍රදේශාත් ප්‍රස්ථාය දිකාපලිදේශස්‍ය ප්‍රාන්තරභාගේන ගාලීල්ජලධේඃ සමීපං ගතවාන්|
32 They brought to him one who was deaf and had a speech difficulty, and they begged Jesus to lay his hand on him.
තදා ලෝකෛරේකං බධිරං කද්වදඤ්ච නරං තන්නිකටමානීය තස්‍ය ගාත්‍රේ හස්තමර්පයිතුං විනයඃ කෘතඃ|
33 He took him aside from the crowd, privately, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spat, and touched his tongue.
තතෝ යීශු ර්ලෝකාරණ්‍යාත් තං නිර්ජනමානීය තස්‍ය කර්ණයෝඞ්ගුලී ර්දදෞ නිෂ්ඨීවං දත්ත්වා ච තජ්ජිහ්වාං පස්පර්ශ|
34 Looking up to heaven, he sighed, and said to him, "Ephphatha." that is, "Be opened."
අනන්තරං ස්වර්ගං නිරීක්‍ෂ්‍ය දීර්ඝං නිශ්වස්‍ය තමවදත් ඉතඵතඃ අර්ථාන් මුක්තෝ භූයාත්|
35 And his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was released, and he spoke clearly.
තතස්තත්ක්‍ෂණං තස්‍ය කර්ණෞ මුක්තෞ ජිහ්වායාශ්ච ජාඩ්‍යාපගමාත් ස සුස්පෂ්ටවාක්‍යමකථයත්|
36 He commanded them that they should tell no one, but the more he commanded them, so much the more widely they proclaimed it.
අථ ස තාන් වාඪමිත්‍යාදිදේශ යූයමිමාං කථාං කස්මෛචිදපි මා කථයත, කින්තු ස යති න්‍යෂේධත් තේ තති බාහුල්‍යේන ප්‍රාචාරයන්;
37 They were astonished beyond measure, saying, "He has done all things well. He makes even the deaf hear, and the mute speak."
තේ(අ)තිචමත්කෘත්‍ය පරස්පරං කථයාමාසුඃ ස බධිරාය ශ්‍රවණශක්තිං මූකාය ච කථනශක්තිං දත්ත්වා සර්ව්වං කර්ම්මෝත්තමරූපේණ චකාර|
