Mark 6
1 And he went out from there and came into his own country, and his disciples followed him.
அநந்தரம்’ ஸ தத்ஸ்தா²நாத் ப்ரஸ்தா²ய ஸ்வப்ரதே³ஸ²மாக³த: ஸி²ஷ்யாஸ்²ச தத்பஸ்²சாத்³ க³தா: |
2 And when the Sabbath had come, he began to teach in the synagogue, and many hearing him were astonished, saying, "Where did this man get these things?" and, "What is the wisdom that is given to this man, that such mighty works come about by his hands?
அத² விஸ்²ராமவாரே ஸதி ஸ ப⁴ஜநக்³ரு’ஹே உபதே³ஷ்டுமாரப்³த⁴வாந் ததோ(அ)நேகே லோகாஸ்தத்கதா²ம்’ ஸ்²ருத்வா விஸ்மித்ய ஜக³து³: , அஸ்ய மநுஜஸ்ய ஈத்³ரு’ஸீ² ஆஸ்²சர்ய்யக்ரியா கஸ்மாஜ் ஜாதா? ததா² ஸ்வகராப்⁴யாம் இத்த²மத்³பு⁴தம்’ கர்ம்ம கர்த்தாம் ஏதஸ்மை கத²ம்’ ஜ்ஞாநம்’ த³த்தம்?
3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, and brother of James, Josi, Judas, and Simon? Are not his sisters here with us?" They were offended at him.
கிமயம்’ மரியம: புத்ரஸ்தஜ்ஞா நோ? கிமயம்’ யாகூப்³-யோஸி-யிஹுதா³-ஸி²மோநாம்’ ப்⁴ராதா நோ? அஸ்ய ப⁴கி³ந்ய: கிமிஹாஸ்மாபி⁴: ஸஹ நோ? இத்த²ம்’ தே தத³ர்தே² ப்ரத்யூஹம்’ க³தா: |
4 Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor, except in his own country, and among his own relatives, and in his own house."
ததா³ யீஸு²ஸ்தேப்⁴யோ(அ)கத²யத் ஸ்வதே³ஸ²ம்’ ஸ்வகுடும்பா³ந் ஸ்வபரிஜநாம்’ஸ்²ச விநா குத்ராபி ப⁴விஷ்யத்³வாதீ³ அஸத்க்ரு’தோ ந ப⁴வதி|
5 And he could do no mighty work there, except that he laid his hands on a few sick people, and healed them.
அபரஞ்ச தேஷாமப்ரத்யயாத் ஸ விஸ்மித: கியதாம்’ ரோகி³ணாம்’ வபு: ஷு ஹஸ்தம் அர்பயித்வா கேவலம்’ தேஷாமாரோக்³யகரணாத்³ அந்யத் கிமபி சித்ரகார்ய்யம்’ கர்த்தாம்’ ந ஸ²க்த: |
6 And he was amazed because of their unbelief. And he went around the villages teaching.
அத² ஸ சதுர்தி³க்ஸ்த² க்³ராமாந் ப்⁴ரமித்வா உபதி³ஷ்டவாந்
7 And he called to himself the twelve, and began to send them out two by two; and he gave them authority over the unclean spirits.
த்³வாத³ஸ²ஸி²ஷ்யாந் ஆஹூய அமேத்⁴யபூ⁴தாந் வஸீ²கர்த்தாம்’ ஸ²க்திம்’ த³த்த்வா தேஷாம்’ த்³வௌ த்³வௌ ஜநோ ப்ரேஷிதவாந்|
8 And he commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, except a staff only: no bread, no pack, no money in their belts,
புநரித்யாதி³ஸ²த்³ யூயம் ஏகைகாம்’ யஷ்டிம்’ விநா வஸ்த்ரஸம்’புட: பூப: கடிப³ந்தே⁴ தாம்ரக²ண்ட³ஞ்ச ஏஷாம்’ கிமபி மா க்³ரஹ்லீத,
9 but to wear sandals, and not to put on two tunics.
மார்க³யாத்ராயை பாதே³ஷூபாநஹௌ த³த்த்வா த்³வே உத்தரீயே மா பரித⁴த்³வ்வம்’|
10 And he said to them, "Wherever you enter into a house, stay there until you depart from there.
அபரமப்யுக்தம்’ தேந யூயம்’ யஸ்யாம்’ புர்ய்யாம்’ யஸ்ய நிவேஸ²நம்’ ப்ரவேக்ஷ்யத² தாம்’ புரீம்’ யாவந்ந த்யக்ஷ்யத² தாவத் தந்நிவேஸ²நே ஸ்தா²ஸ்யத²|
11 And if any place will not receive you or listen to you, as you depart from there, shake off the dust that is under your feet for a testimony against them."
தத்ர யதி³ கேபி யுஷ்மாகமாதித்²யம்’ ந வித³த⁴தி யுஷ்மாகம்’ கதா²ஸ்²ச ந ஸ்²ரு’ண்வந்தி தர்ஹி தத்ஸ்தா²நாத் ப்ரஸ்தா²நஸமயே தேஷாம்’ விருத்³த⁴ம்’ ஸாக்ஷ்யம்’ தா³தும்’ ஸ்வபாதா³நாஸ்பா²ல்ய ரஜ: ஸம்பாதயத; அஹம்’ யுஷ்மாந் யதா²ர்த²ம்’ வச்மி விசாரதி³நே தந்நக³ரஸ்யாவஸ்தா²த: ஸிதோ³மாமோரயோ ர்நக³ரயோரவஸ்தா² ஸஹ்யதரா ப⁴விஷ்யதி|
12 So they went out and proclaimed that all should repent.
அத² தே க³த்வா லோகாநாம்’ மந: பராவர்த்தநீ: கதா² ப்ரசாரிதவந்த: |
13 They cast out many demons, and anointed many with oil who were sick, and healed them.
ஏவமநேகாந் பூ⁴தாம்’ஸ்²ச த்யாஜிதவந்தஸ்ததா² தைலேந மர்த்³த³யித்வா ப³ஹூந் ஜநாநரோகா³நகார்ஷு: |
14 King Herod heard this, for his name had become known, and he said, "John the Baptist has risen from the dead, and therefore these powers are at work in him."
இத்த²ம்’ தஸ்ய ஸுக்²யாதிஸ்²சதுர்தி³ஸோ² வ்யாப்தா ததா³ ஹேரோத்³ ராஜா தந்நிஸ²ம்ய கதி²தவாந், யோஹந் மஜ்ஜக: ஸ்²மஸா²நாத்³ உத்தி²த அதோஹேதோஸ்தேந ஸர்வ்வா ஏதா அத்³பு⁴தக்ரியா: ப்ரகாஸ²ந்தே|
15 But others said, "He is Elijah." Others said, "He is a prophet, like one of the prophets."
அந்யே(அ)கத²யந் அயம் ஏலிய: , கேபி கதி²தவந்த ஏஷ ப⁴விஷ்யத்³வாதீ³ யத்³வா ப⁴விஷ்யத்³வாதி³நாம்’ ஸத்³ரு’ஸ² ஏகோயம்|
16 But Herod, when he heard this, said, "This is John, whom I beheaded. He has risen."
கிந்து ஹேரோத்³ இத்யாகர்ண்ய பா⁴ஷிதவாந் யஸ்யாஹம்’ ஸி²ரஸ்²சி²ந்நவாந் ஸ ஏவ யோஹநயம்’ ஸ ஸ்²மஸா²நாது³த³திஷ்ட²த்|
17 For Herod himself had sent out and arrested John, and bound him in prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip's wife, for he had married her.
பூர்வ்வம்’ ஸ்வப்⁴ராது: பி²லிபஸ்ய பத்ந்யா உத்³வாஹம்’ க்ரு’தவந்தம்’ ஹேரோத³ம்’ யோஹநவாதீ³த் ஸ்வபா⁴த்ரு’வதூ⁴ ர்ந விவாஹ்யா|
18 For John said to Herod, "It is not lawful for you to have your brother's wife."
அத: காரணாத் ஹேரோத்³ லோகம்’ ப்ரஹித்ய யோஹநம்’ த்⁴ரு’த்வா ப³ந்த⁴நாலயே ப³த்³த⁴வாந்|
19 So Herodias set herself against him, and desired to kill him, but she could not,
ஹேரோதி³யா தஸ்மை யோஹநே ப்ரகுப்ய தம்’ ஹந்தும் ஐச்ச²த் கிந்து ந ஸ²க்தா,
20 for Herod feared John, knowing that he was a righteous and holy man, and kept him safe. And when he heard him, he was very perplexed, but he heard him gladly.
யஸ்மாத்³ ஹேரோத்³ தம்’ தா⁴ர்ம்மிகம்’ ஸத்புருஷஞ்ச ஜ்ஞாத்வா ஸம்மந்ய ரக்ஷிதவாந்; தத்கதா²ம்’ ஸ்²ருத்வா தத³நுஸாரேண ப³ஹூநி கர்ம்மாணி க்ரு’தவாந் ஹ்ரு’ஷ்டமநாஸ்தது³பதே³ஸ²ம்’ ஸ்²ருதவாம்’ஸ்²ச|
21 And then a convenient day came, that Herod on his birthday gave a supper for his nobles, the high officers, and the leaders of Galilee.
கிந்து ஹேரோத்³ யதா³ ஸ்வஜந்மதி³நே ப்ரதா⁴நலோகேப்⁴ய: ஸேநாநீப்⁴யஸ்²ச கா³லீல்ப்ரதே³ஸீ²யஸ்²ரேஷ்ட²லோகேப்⁴யஸ்²ச ராத்ரௌ போ⁴ஜ்யமேகம்’ க்ரு’தவாந்
22 And when the daughter of Herodias herself came in and danced, she pleased Herod and those sitting with him. The king said to the young woman, "Ask me whatever you want, and I will give it to you."
தஸ்மிந் ஸு²ப⁴தி³நே ஹேரோதி³யாயா: கந்யா ஸமேத்ய தேஷாம்’ ஸமக்ஷம்’ ஸம்’ந்ரு’த்ய ஹேரோத³ஸ்தேந ஸஹோபவிஷ்டாநாஞ்ச தோஷமஜீஜநத் ததா ந்ரு’ப: கந்யாமாஹ ஸ்ம மத்தோ யத்³ யாசஸே ததே³வ துப்⁴யம்’ தா³ஸ்யே|
23 And he swore to her, "Whatever you ask me, I will give you, up to half of my kingdom."
ஸ²பத²ம்’ க்ரு’த்வாகத²யத் சேத்³ ராஜ்யார்த்³த⁴மபி யாசஸே தத³பி துப்⁴யம்’ தா³ஸ்யே|
24 So she went out, and said to her mother, "What should I ask?" And she said, "The head of John the baptizer."
தத: ஸா ப³ஹி ர்க³த்வா ஸ்வமாதரம்’ பப்ரச்ச² கிமஹம்’ யாசிஷ்யே? ததா³ ஸாகத²யத் யோஹநோ மஜ்ஜகஸ்ய ஸி²ர: |
25 And she came in immediately with haste to the king, and asked, "I want you to give me right now the head of John the Baptist on a platter."
அத² தூர்ணம்’ பூ⁴பஸமீபம் ஏத்ய யாசமாநாவத³த் க்ஷணேஸ்மிந் யோஹநோ மஜ்ஜகஸ்ய ஸி²ர: பாத்ரே நிதா⁴ய தே³ஹி, ஏதத்³ யாசே(அ)ஹம்’|
26 And the king was exceedingly sorry, but for the sake of his oaths, and of his dinner guests, he did not wish to refuse her.
தஸ்மாத் பூ⁴போ(அ)திது³: கி²த: , ததா²பி ஸ்வஸ²பத²ஸ்ய ஸஹபோ⁴ஜிநாஞ்சாநுரோதா⁴த் தத³நங்கீ³கர்த்தும்’ ந ஸ²க்த: |
27 So immediately the king sent out a soldier of his guard, and commanded to bring John's head, and he went and beheaded him in the prison,
தத்க்ஷணம்’ ராஜா கா⁴தகம்’ ப்ரேஷ்ய தஸ்ய ஸி²ர ஆநேதுமாதி³ஷ்டவாந்|
28 and brought his head on a platter, and gave it to the young woman; and the young woman gave it to her mother.
தத: ஸ காராகா³ரம்’ க³த்வா தச்சி²ரஸ்²சி²த்வா பாத்ரே நிதா⁴யாநீய தஸ்யை கந்யாயை த³த்தவாந் கந்யா ச ஸ்வமாத்ரே த³தௌ³|
29 And when his disciples heard this, they came and took up his corpse, and placed it in a tomb.
அநநதரம்’ யோஹந: ஸி²ஷ்யாஸ்தத்³வார்த்தாம்’ ப்ராப்யாக³த்ய தஸ்ய குணபம்’ ஸ்²மஸா²நே(அ)ஸ்தா²பயந்|
30 Then the apostles gathered themselves together to Jesus, and they told him all things, whatever they had done, and whatever they had taught.
அத² ப்ரேஷிதா யீஸோ²: ஸந்நிதௌ⁴ மிலிதா யத்³ யச் சக்ரு: ஸி²க்ஷயாமாஸுஸ்²ச தத்ஸர்வ்வவார்த்தாஸ்தஸ்மை கதி²தவந்த: |
31 And he said to them, "Come away by yourselves to an isolated place, and rest awhile." For there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.
ஸ தாநுவாச யூயம்’ விஜநஸ்தா²நம்’ க³த்வா விஸ்²ராம்யத யதஸ்தத்ஸந்நிதௌ⁴ ப³ஹுலோகாநாம்’ ஸமாக³மாத் தே போ⁴க்தும்’ நாவகாஸ²ம்’ ப்ராப்தா: |
32 So they went away in the boat to an isolated place by themselves.
ததஸ்தே நாவா விஜநஸ்தா²நம்’ கு³ப்தம்’ க³க்³மு: |
33 But they saw them going, and many recognized him and ran there on foot from all the cities and they arrived before them.
ததோ லோகநிவஹஸ்தேஷாம்’ ஸ்தா²நாந்தரயாநம்’ த³த³ர்ஸ², அநேகே தம்’ பரிசித்ய நாநாபுரேப்⁴ய: பதை³ர்வ்ரஜித்வா ஜவேந தைஷாமக்³ரே யீஸோ²: ஸமீப உபதஸ்து²: |
34 And he came out, saw a large crowd, and he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd, and he began to teach them many things.
ததா³ யீஸு² ர்நாவோ ப³ஹிர்க³த்ய லோகாரண்யாநீம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வா தேஷு கருணாம்’ க்ரு’தவாந் யதஸ்தே(அ)ரக்ஷகமேஷா இவாஸந் ததா³ ஸ தாந நாநாப்ரஸங்கா³ந் உபதி³ஷ்டவாந்|
35 And when it was late in the day, his disciples came to him, and said, "This place is desolate, and it is late in the day.
அத² தி³வாந்தே ஸதி ஸி²ஷ்யா ஏத்ய யீஸு²மூசிரே, இத³ம்’ விஜநஸ்தா²நம்’ தி³நஞ்சாவஸந்நம்’|
36 Send them away, that they may go into the surrounding country and villages, and buy themselves something to eat."
லோகாநாம்’ கிமபி கா²த்³யம்’ நாஸ்தி, அதஸ்²சதுர்தி³க்ஷு க்³ராமாந் க³ந்தும்’ போ⁴ஜ்யத்³ரவ்யாணி க்ரேதுஞ்ச ப⁴வாந் தாந் விஸ்ரு’ஜது|
37 But he answered them, "You give them something to eat." They asked him, "Are we to go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread, and give them something to eat?"
ததா³ ஸ தாநுவாச யூயமேவ தாந் போ⁴ஜயத; ததஸ்தே ஜக³து³ ர்வயம்’ க³த்வா த்³விஸ²தஸம்’க்²யகை ர்முத்³ராபாதை³: பூபாந் க்ரீத்வா கிம்’ தாந் போ⁴ஜயிஷ்யாம: ?
38 He said to them, "How many loaves do you have? Go see." When they knew, they said, "Five, and two fish."
ததா³ ஸ தாந் ப்ரு’ஷ்ட²வாந் யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஸந்நிதௌ⁴ கதி பூபா ஆஸதே? க³த்வா பஸ்²யத; ததஸ்தே த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வா தமவத³ந் பஞ்ச பூபா த்³வௌ மத்ஸ்யௌ ச ஸந்தி|
39 He commanded them that everyone should sit down in groups on the green grass.
ததா³ ஸ லோகாந் ஸ²ஸ்போபரி பம்’க்திபி⁴ருபவேஸ²யிதும் ஆதி³ஷ்டவாந்,
40 They sat down in ranks, by hundreds and by fifties.
ததஸ்தே ஸ²தம்’ ஸ²தம்’ ஜநா: பஞ்சாஸ²த் பஞ்சாஸ²ஜ்ஜநாஸ்²ச பம்’க்திபி⁴ ர்பு⁴வி ஸமுபவிவிஸு²: |
41 He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he blessed and broke the loaves, and he gave to his disciples to set before them, and he divided the two fish among them all.
அத² ஸ தாந் பஞ்சபூபாந் மத்ஸ்யத்³வயஞ்ச த்⁴ரு’த்வா ஸ்வர்க³ம்’ பஸ்²யந் ஈஸ்²வரகு³ணாந் அந்வகீர்த்தயத் தாந் பூபாந் ப⁴ம்’க்த்வா லோகேப்⁴ய: பரிவேஷயிதும்’ ஸி²ஷ்யேப்⁴யோ த³த்தவாந் த்³வா மத்ஸ்யௌ ச விப⁴ஜ்ய ஸர்வ்வேப்⁴யோ த³த்தவாந்|
42 They all ate, and were filled.
தத: ஸர்வ்வே பு⁴க்த்வாத்ரு’ப்யந்|
43 They took up twelve baskets full of broken pieces and also of the fish.
அநந்தரம்’ ஸி²ஷ்யா அவஸி²ஷ்டை: பூபை ர்மத்ஸ்யைஸ்²ச பூர்ணாந் த்³வத³ஸ² ட³ல்லகாந் ஜக்³ரு’ஹு: |
44 Those who ate the loaves were five thousand men.
தே போ⁴க்தார: ப்ராய: பஞ்ச ஸஹஸ்ராணி புருஷா ஆஸந்|
45 And immediately he made his disciples get into the boat, and to go ahead to the other side, to Bethsaida, while he himself sent the crowd away.
அத² ஸ லோகாந் விஸ்ரு’ஜந்நேவ நாவமாரோடு⁴ம்’ ஸ்வஸ்மாத³க்³ரே பாரே பை³த்ஸைதா³புரம்’ யாதுஞ்ச ஸ்²ஷ்யிந் வாட⁴மாதி³ஷ்டவாந்|
46 After he had taken leave of them, he went up the mountain to pray.
ததா³ ஸ ஸர்வ்வாந் விஸ்ரு’ஜ்ய ப்ரார்த²யிதும்’ பர்வ்வதம்’ க³த: |
47 When evening had come, the boat was in the midst of the sea, and he was alone on the land.
தத: ஸந்த்⁴யாயாம்’ ஸத்யாம்’ நௌ: ஸிந்து⁴மத்⁴ய உபஸ்தி²தா கிந்து ஸ ஏகாகீ ஸ்த²லே ஸ்தி²த: |
48 He saw them distressed in rowing, for the wind was against them. In the watch between three and six in the morning he came to them, walking on the sea, and he would have passed by them,
அத² ஸம்முக²வாதவஹநாத் ஸி²ஷ்யா நாவம்’ வாஹயித்வா பரிஸ்²ராந்தா இதி ஜ்ஞாத்வா ஸ நிஸா²சதுர்த²யாமே ஸிந்தூ⁴பரி பத்³ப்⁴யாம்’ வ்ரஜந் தேஷாம்’ ஸமீபமேத்ய தேஷாமக்³ரே யாதும் உத்³யத: |
49 but they, when they saw him walking on the sea, supposed that it was a ghost, and began to scream;
கிந்து ஸி²ஷ்யா: ஸிந்தூ⁴பரி தம்’ வ்ரஜந்தம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வா பூ⁴தமநுமாய ருருவு: ,
50 for they all saw him, and were troubled. But he immediately spoke with them, and said to them, "Cheer up. It is I. Do not be afraid."
யத: ஸர்வ்வே தம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வா வ்யாகுலிதா: | அதஏவ யீஸு²ஸ்தத்க்ஷணம்’ தை: ஸஹாலப்ய கதி²தவாந், ஸுஸ்தி²ரா பூ⁴த, அயமஹம்’ மா பை⁴ஷ்ட|
51 And he got into the boat with them, and the wind ceased. And they were completely profusely astonished among themselves;
அத² நௌகாமாருஹ்ய தஸ்மிந் தேஷாம்’ ஸந்நிதி⁴ம்’ க³தே வாதோ நிவ்ரு’த்த: ; தஸ்மாத்தே மந: ஸு விஸ்மிதா ஆஸ்²சர்ய்யம்’ மேநிரே|
52 for they had not understood about the loaves, but their hearts were hardened.
யதஸ்தே மநஸாம்’ காடி²ந்யாத் தத் பூபீயம் ஆஸ்²சர்ய்யம்’ கர்ம்ம ந விவிக்தவந்த: |
53 When they had crossed over, they came to land at Gennesaret, and moored to the shore.
அத² தே பாரம்’ க³த்வா கி³நேஷரத்ப்ரதே³ஸ²மேத்ய தட உபஸ்தி²தா: |
54 When they had come out of the boat, immediately the people recognized him,
தேஷு நௌகாதோ ப³ஹிர்க³தேஷு தத்ப்ரதே³ஸீ²யா லோகாஸ்தம்’ பரிசித்ய
55 and ran around that whole region, and began to bring those who were sick, on their mats, to where they heard he was.
சதுர்தி³க்ஷு தா⁴வந்தோ யத்ர யத்ர ரோகி³ணோ நரா ஆஸந் தாந் ஸர்வ்வாந க²ட்வோபரி நிதா⁴ய யத்ர குத்ரசித் தத்³வார்த்தாம்’ ப்ராபு: தத் ஸ்தா²நம் ஆநேதும் ஆரேபி⁴ரே|
56 Wherever he entered, into villages, or into cities, or into the country, they placed the sick in the marketplaces, and begged him that they might touch just the fringe of his garment; and everyone who touched him were made well.
ததா² யத்ர யத்ர க்³ராமே யத்ர யத்ர புரே யத்ர யத்ர பல்ல்யாஞ்ச தேந ப்ரவேஸ²: க்ரு’தஸ்தத்³வர்த்மமத்⁴யே லோகா: பீடி³தாந் ஸ்தா²பயித்வா தஸ்ய சேலக்³ரந்தி²மாத்ரம்’ ஸ்ப்ரஷ்டும் தேஷாமர்தே² தத³நுஜ்ஞாம்’ ப்ரார்த²யந்த: யாவந்தோ லோகா: பஸ்ப்ரு’ஸு²ஸ்தாவந்த ஏவ க³தா³ந்முக்தா: |
