< Mark 15 >
1 Immediately in the morning the chief priests, with the elders and scribes, and the whole council, held a consultation, and bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate.

2 Pilate asked him, "Are you the King of the Jews?" He answered, "You say so."

3 The chief priests accused him of many things.
Akulu a ansembe anamunenera zinthu zambiri.
4 Pilate again asked him, "Have you no answer? See how many things they testify against you."
Ndipo Pilato anamufunsanso Iye kuti, “Kodi Iwe suyankhapo kanthu? Tamva zinthu zambiri akukunenerazi.”
5 But Jesus made no further answer, and Pilate was amazed.
Koma Yesu sanayankhebe, ndipo Pilato anadabwa.
6 Now at the feast he used to release to them one prisoner, whom they requested.

7 There was one called Barabbas, bound with those who had made insurrection, who in the insurrection had committed murder.

8 And the crowd went up and began to ask him to do for them according to his custom.
Gulu la anthu linabwera kwa Pilato ndi kumufunsa kuti awachitire zimene amachita nthawi zonse.
9 Pilate answered them, saying, "Do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?"
“Kodi mukufuna kuti ndikumasulireni mfumu ya Ayuda?” Pilato anafunsa,
10 For he perceived that for envy the chief priests had delivered him up.
podziwa kuti akulu a ansembe anamupereka Yesu kwa iye chifukwa cha nsanje.
11 But the chief priests stirred up the crowd, that he should release Barabbas to them instead.
Koma akulu a ansembe anasonkhezera anthu kuti Pilato amasule Baraba mʼmalo mwa Yesu.
12 Pilate again asked them, "What then should I do to him whom you call the King of the Jews?"
Pilato anawafunsa kuti, “Kodi nanga ndichite chiyani ndi uyu amene mukumutcha mfumu ya Ayuda?”
13 They shouted again, "Crucify him."
Anafuwula kuti, “Mpachikeni!”
14 Pilate said to them, "Why, what evil has he done?" But they shouted all the louder, "Crucify him."
Pilato anafunsa kuti, “Chifukwa chiyani? Wapalamula mlandu wotani?” Koma anafuwula kwambiri, “Mpachikeni!”
15 Pilate, wishing to please the crowd, released Barabbas to them, and handed over Jesus, when he had flogged him, to be crucified.
Pilato pofuna kuwakondweretsa anthuwo, anawamasulira Baraba. Analamula kuti Yesu akwapulidwe mwankhanza, ndipo anamupereka kuti akapachikidwe.
16 The soldiers led him away within the court, which is the Praetorium; and they called together the whole cohort.
Asilikali anamutenga Yesu ndi kupita naye mʼkati mwa nyumba yaufumu (dera lokhalako asilikali a mfumu) ndipo anasonkhanitsa gulu lonse la asilikali.
17 They clothed him with purple, and weaving a crown of thorns, they put it on him.
Anamuveka Iye mwinjiro wofiira, kenaka analuka chipewa cha minga ndi kuyika pa mutu pake.
18 They began to salute him, "Greetings, King of the Jews."
Ndipo anayamba kunena kwa lye kuti, “Ulemu kwa inu Mfumu ya Ayuda!”
19 They struck his head with a reed, and spat on him, and bowing their knees, did homage to him.
Ndipo anamugogoda pa mutu mobwerezabwereza ndi ndodo ndi kumulavulira. Anamugwadira ndi kumulambira Iye.
20 When they had mocked him, they took the purple off of him, and put his own garments on him. They led him out to crucify him.
Ndipo anamuchita chipongwe, anamuvula mwinjiro wofiira uja ndi kumuveka zovala zake. Kenaka anamutenga kuti akamupachike.
21 And they forced one passing by, Simon of Cyrene, coming from the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to go with them, that he might carry his cross.
Munthu wina ochokera ku Kurene, Simoni, abambo a Alekisanda ndi Rufasi amadutsa kuchokera ku dziko la kwawo, ndipo anamuwumiriza kuti anyamule mtanda.
22 And they brought him to the place called Golgotha, which is translated, "The place of a skull."
Anafika naye Yesu pa malo otchedwa Gologota (kutanthauza kuti, malo a bade)
23 They offered him wine mixed with myrrh to drink, but he did not take it.
Kenaka anamupatsa Iye vinyo wosakaniza ndi mure, koma Iye sanamwe.
24 Crucifying him, they parted his garments among them, casting lots on them, what each should take.
Ndipo anamupachika Iye. Anachita maere ogawana zovala zake kuti aone chimene aliyense angatenge.
25 It was nine in the morning, and they crucified him.
Linali ora lachitatu mmawa pamene anamupachika Yesu.
26 The superscription of his accusation was written over him, "THE KING OF THE JEWS."
Chikwangwani cholembedwapo mlandu wake chinali choti: mfumu ya ayuda.
27 With him they crucified two robbers; one on his right hand, and one on his left.
Achifwamba awiri anapachikidwanso pamodzi ndi Iye, wina kumanja kwake ndi wina kumanzere kwake.
28 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "And he was numbered with transgressors."
(Ndipo malemba anakwaniritsidwa amene amati, “Iye anayikidwa mʼgulu la anthu oyipa).”
29 Those who passed by blasphemed him, wagging their heads, and saying, "Ha. You who destroy the temple, and build it in three days,
Amene amadutsa pafupi anamunenera mawu amwano, akupukusa mitu yawo ndi kuti, “Haa! Iwe amene udzawononga Nyumba ya Mulungu ndi kuyimanganso masiku atatu,
30 save yourself and come down from the cross."
tsika kuchoka pa mtandapo ndipo udzipulumutse wekha!”
31 Likewise, also the chief priests mocking among themselves with the scribes said, "He saved others. He cannot save himself.
Chimodzimodzinso akulu a ansembe ndi aphunzitsi amalamulo anamunyoza Iye pakati pawo. Iwo anati, “Anapulumutsa ena, koma sangathe kudzipulumutsa yekha!
32 Let the Christ, the King of Israel, now come down from the cross, that we may see and believe him." Those who were crucified with him insulted him.
Musiyeni Khristu, Mfumu ya Aisraeli, atsike tsopano kuchoka pa mtanda, kuti ife tione ndi kukhulupirira.” Iwonso amene anapachikidwa naye pamodzi anamulalatira.
33 Now when it was noon, there was darkness over the whole land until three in the afternoon.
Pa ora lachisanu ndi chimodzi masana mdima unabwera pa dziko lonse mpaka pa ora lachisanu ndi chinayi masana.
34 Then at three in the afternoon Jesus called out with a loud voice, saying, "Elohi, Elohi, lema shabachthani?" which is translated, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"
Pa ora lachisanu ndi chinayi Yesu analira mofuwula kuti, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabakitani?” Kutanthauza kuti, “Mulungu wanga, Mulungu wanga, mwandisiyiranji Ine?”
35 Some of those who stood by, when they heard it, said, "Look, he is calling for Elijah."
Ena amene anali pafupi atamva izi anati, “Tamverani, akuyitana Eliya.”
36 One ran, and filling a sponge full of vinegar, put it on a reed, and gave it to him to drink, saying, "Let him be. Let us see whether Elijah comes to take him down."
Munthu wina anathamanga, natenga chinkhupule atachiviyika mu vinyo wosasa, anachizika ku mtengo, ndi kumupatsa Yesu kuti amwe. Munthuyo anati, “Musiyeni yekha tsopano. Tiyeni tione ngati Eliya angabwere kudzamutsitsa.”
37 Jesus gave a loud cry, and gave up the spirit.
Ndi mawu ofuwula, Yesu anapuma komaliza.
38 The veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom.
Chinsalu chotchinga cha mʼNyumba ya Mulungu chinangʼambika pakati kuyambira pamwamba mpaka pansi.
39 And when the centurion, who stood by opposite him, saw that he cried out like this and breathed his last, he said, "Truly this man was the Son of God."
Ndipo Kenturiyo, amene anayima patsogolo pa Yesu, atamva kulira kwake ndi kuona mmene anafera anati, “Zoonadi, uyu anali Mwana wa Mulungu.”
40 There were also women watching from afar, among whom were both Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the younger and of Josi, and Salome;
Amayi ena anali patali kuonerera. Pakati pawo panali Mariya Magadalena, Mariya amayi a Yakobo wamngʼono ndi Yose ndi Salome.
41 who, when he was in Galilee, followed him, and served him; and many other women who came up with him to Jerusalem.
Amayi awa ankamutsatira Iye mu Galileya ndi kumutumikira Iye pa zosowa zake. Amayi enanso ambiri amene anabwera naye ku Yerusalemu analinso pomwepo.
42 When evening had now come, because it was the Preparation Day, that is, the day before the Sabbath,
Linali Tsiku Lokonzekera (kunena kuti, tsiku lomwe limatsatizana ndi Sabata). Choncho madzulo atayandikira,
43 Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent council member who also himself was looking for the kingdom of God, came. He boldly went in to Pilate, and asked for the body of Jesus.
Yosefe wa ku Arimateyu, mkulu wolamulira odziwika bwino, amene amadikirira ufumu wa Mulungu, anapita kwa Pilato molimba mtima ndi kukapempha mtembo wa Yesu.
44 Pilate was surprised that he was already dead; and summoning the centurion, he asked him whether he had been dead long.
Pilato anadabwa pakumva kuti anali atamwalira kale. Anayitana Kenturiyo, namufunsa ngati Yesu anali atamwalira kale.
45 When he found out from the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph.
Atawuzidwa ndi Kenturiyo kuti zinali motero, anapereka mtembowo kwa Yosefe.
46 He bought a linen cloth, and taking him down, wound him in the linen cloth, and placed him in a tomb which had been cut out of a rock. He rolled a stone against the door of the tomb.
Choncho Yosefe anagula nsalu yabafuta, natsitsa thupi, ndipo analikulunga mʼnsalu, naliyika mʼmanda amene anawagoba pa mwala. Kenaka anagubuduza mwala umene anatseka nawo mandawo.
47 Mary Magdalene and Mary, the mother of Josi, saw where he was placed.
Mariya Magadalena ndi Mariya amayi a Yose anaona kumene anamuyika Yesu.
