< Luke 22 >

1 Now the feast of unleavened bread, which is called the Passover, drew near.
اَپَرَنْچَ کِنْوَشُونْیَپُوپوتْسَوَسْیَ کالَ اُپَسْتھِتی
2 The chief priests and the scribes sought how they might kill him, for they feared the people.
پْرَدھانَیاجَکا اَدھْیایَکاشْچَ یَتھا تَں ہَنْتُں شَکْنُوَنْتِ تَتھوپایامْ اَچیشْٹَنْتَ کِنْتُ لوکیبھْیو بِبھْیُح۔
3 Satan entered into Judas, who was called Iscariot, who was numbered with the twelve.
ایتَسْتِنْ سَمَیے دْوادَشَشِشْییشُ گَنِتَ اِیشْکَرِیوتِییَرُوڈھِمانْ یو یِہُوداسْتَسْیانْتَحکَرَنَں شَیتاناشْرِتَتْواتْ
4 He went away, and talked with the chief priests and captains about how he might deliver him to them.
سَ گَتْوا یَتھا یِیشُں تیشاں کَریشُ سَمَرْپَیِتُں شَکْنوتِ تَتھا مَنْتْرَناں پْرَدھانَیاجَکَیح سیناپَتِبھِشْچَ سَہَ چَکارَ۔
5 They were glad, and agreed to give him money.
تینَ تے تُشْٹاسْتَسْمَے مُدْراں داتُں پَنَں چَکْرُح۔
6 He consented, and sought an opportunity to deliver him to them in the absence of the crowd.
تَتَح سونْگِیکرِتْیَ یَتھا لوکانامَگوچَرے تَں پَرَکَریشُ سَمَرْپَیِتُں شَکْنوتِ تَتھاوَکاشَں چیشْٹِتُماریبھے۔
7 The day of unleavened bread came, on which the Passover lamb must be sacrificed.
اَتھَ کِنْوَشُونْیَپُوپوتْمَوَدِنے، اَرْتھاتْ یَسْمِنْ دِنے نِسْتاروتْسَوَسْیَ میشو ہَنْتَوْیَسْتَسْمِنْ دِنی
8 He sent Peter and John, saying, "Go and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat."
یِیشُح پِتَرَں یوہَنَنْچاہُویَ جَگادَ، یُواں گَتْواسْماکَں بھوجَنارْتھَں نِسْتاروتْسَوَسْیَ دْرَوْیانْیاسادَیَتَں۔
9 They said to him, "Where do you want us to prepare?"
تَدا تَو پَپْرَچّھَتُح کُچاسادَیاوو بھَوَتَح کیچّھا؟
10 He said to them, "Look, when you have entered into the city, a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you. Follow him into the house which he enters.
تَدا سووادِیتْ، نَگَرے پْرَوِشْٹے کَشْچِجَّلَکُمْبھَمادایَ یُواں ساکْشاتْ کَرِشْیَتِ سَ یَنِّویشَنَں پْرَوِشَتِ یُوامَپِ تَنِّویشَنَں تَتْپَشْچادِتْوا نِویشَنَپَتِمْ اِتِ واکْیَں وَدَتَں،
11 Tell the master of the house, 'The Teacher says to you, "Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?"'
یَتْراہَں نِسْتاروتْسَوَسْیَ بھوجْیَں شِشْیَیح سارْدّھَں بھوکْتُں شَکْنومِ ساتِتھِشالا کُتْرَ؟ کَتھامِماں پْرَبھُسْتْواں پرِچّھَتِ۔
12 He will show you a large, furnished upper room. Make preparations there."
تَتَح سَ جَنو دْوِتِییَپْرَکوشْٹھِییَمْ ایکَں شَسْتَں کوشْٹھَں دَرْشَیِشْیَتِ تَتْرَ بھوجْیَماسادَیَتَں۔
13 They went, found things as he had told them, and they prepared the Passover.
تَتَسْتَو گَتْوا تَدْواکْیانُسارینَ سَرْوَّں درِشْدْوا تَتْرَ نِسْتاروتْسَوِییَں بھوجْیَماسادَیاماسَتُح۔
14 When the hour had come, he reclined at the table, and the apostles joined him.
اَتھَ کالَ اُپَسْتھِتے یِیشُ رْدْوادَشَبھِح پْریرِتَیح سَہَ بھوکْتُمُپَوِشْیَ کَتھِتَوانْ
15 He said to them, "I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer,
مَمَ دُحکھَبھوگاتْ پُورْوَّں یُبھابھِح سَہَ نِسْتاروتْسَوَسْیَیتَسْیَ بھوجْیَں بھوکْتُں مَیاتِوانْچھا کرِتا۔
16 for I say to you, I will not eat of it again until it is fulfilled in the Kingdom of God."
یُشْمانْ وَدامِ، یاوَتْکالَمْ اِیشْوَرَراجْیے بھوجَنَں نَ کَرِشْیے تاوَتْکالَمْ اِدَں نَ بھوکْشْیے۔
17 He received a cup, and when he had given thanks, he said, "Take this, and share it among yourselves,
تَدا سَ پانَپاتْرَمادایَ اِیشْوَرَسْیَ گُنانْ کِیرْتَّیِتْوا تیبھْیو دَتْواوَدَتْ، اِدَں گرِہْلِیتَ یُویَں وِبھَجْیَ پِوَتَ۔
18 for I tell you, from now on I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes."
یُشْمانْ وَدامِ یاوَتْکالَمْ اِیشْوَرَراجَتْوَسْیَ سَںسْتھاپَنَں نَ بھَوَتِ تاوَدْ دْراکْشاپھَلَرَسَں نَ پاسْیامِ۔
19 He took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and gave to them, saying, "This is my body which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me."
تَتَح پُوپَں گرِہِیتْوا اِیشْوَرَگُنانْ کِیرْتَّیِتْوا بھَنْکْتا تیبھْیو دَتْواوَدَتْ، یُشْمَدَرْتھَں سَمَرْپِتَں یَنْمَمَ وَپُسْتَدِدَں، ایتَتْ کَرْمَّ مَمَ سْمَرَنارْتھَں کُرُدھْوَں۔
20 Likewise, he took the cup after they had eaten, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.
اَتھَ بھوجَنانْتے تادرِشَں پاتْرَں گرِہِیتْواوَدَتْ، یُشْمَتْکرِتے پاتِتَں یَنْمَمَ رَکْتَں تینَ نِرْنِیتَنَوَنِیَمَرُوپَں پانَپاتْرَمِدَں۔
21 But look, the hand of him who betrays me is with me on the table.
پَشْیَتَ یو ماں پَرَکَریشُ سَمَرْپَیِشْیَتِ سَ مَیا سَہَ بھوجَناسَنَ اُپَوِشَتِ۔
22 The Son of Man indeed goes, as it has been determined, but woe to that man through whom he is betrayed."
یَتھا نِرُوپِتَماسْتے تَدَنُسارینا مَنُشْیَپُتْرَسْیَ گَتِ رْبھَوِشْیَتِ کِنْتُ یَسْتَں پَرَکَریشُ سَمَرْپَیِشْیَتِ تَسْیَ سَنْتاپو بھَوِشْیَتِ۔
23 They began to question among themselves, which of them it was who would do this thing.
تَدا تیشاں کو جَنَ ایتَتْ کَرْمَّ کَرِشْیَتِ تَتْ تے پَرَسْپَرَں پْرَشْٹُماریبھِرے۔
24 There arose also a contention among them, which of them was considered to be greatest.
اَپَرَں تیشاں کو جَنَح شْریشْٹھَتْوینَ گَنَیِشْیَتے، اَتْرارْتھے تیشاں وِوادوبھَوَتْ۔
25 He said to them, "The kings of the nations lord it over them, and those who have authority over them are called 'benefactors.'
اَسْماتْ کارَناتْ سووَدَتْ، اَنْیَدیشِییاناں راجانَح پْرَجانامُپَرِ پْرَبھُتْوَں کُرْوَّنْتِ دارُنَشاسَنَں کرِتْواپِ تے بھُوپَتِتْوینَ وِکھْیاتا بھَوَنْتِ چَ۔
26 But not so with you. But one who is the greater among you, let him become as the younger, and one who is governing, as one who serves.
کِنْتُ یُشْماکَں تَتھا نَ بھَوِشْیَتِ، یو یُشْماکَں شْریشْٹھو بھَوِشْیَتِ سَ کَنِشْٹھَوَدْ بھَوَتُ، یَشْچَ مُکھْیو بھَوِشْیَتِ سَ سیوَکَوَدْبھَوَتُ۔
27 For who is greater, one who sits at the table, or one who serves? Is it not he who sits at the table? But I am in the midst of you as one who serves.
بھوجَنوپَوِشْٹَپَرِچارَکَیوح کَح شْریشْٹھَح؟ یو بھوجَنایوپَوِشَتِ سَ کِں شْریشْٹھو نَ بھَوَتِ؟ کِنْتُ یُشْماکَں مَدھْیےہَں پَرِچارَکَاِواسْمِ۔
28 But you are those who have continued with me in my trials.
اَپَرَنْچَ یُیَں مَمَ پَرِیکْشاکالے پْرَتھَمَمارَبھْیَ مَیا سَہَ سْتھِتا
29 I confer on you a kingdom, even as my Father conferred on me,
ایتَتْکارَناتْ پِتْرا یَتھا مَدَرْتھَں راجْیَمیکَں نِرُوپِتَں تَتھاہَمَپِ یُشْمَدَرْتھَں راجْیَں نِرُوپَیامِ۔
30 that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel."
تَسْمانْ مَمَ راجْیے بھوجَناسَنے چَ بھوجَنَپانے کَرِشْیَدھْوے سِںہاسَنیشُوپَوِشْیَ چیسْراییلِییاناں دْوادَشَوَںشاناں وِچارَں کَرِشْیَدھْوے۔
31 And the Lord said, "Simon, Simon, look, Satan has demanded to have you all, to sift you like wheat,
اَپَرَں پْرَبھُرُواچَ، ہے شِمونْ پَشْیَ تِتَاُنا دھانْیانِیوَ یُشْمانْ شَیتانْ چالَیِتُمْ اَیچّھَتْ،
32 but I prayed for you, that your faith would not fail. You, when once you have turned again, establish your brothers."
کِنْتُ تَوَ وِشْواسَسْیَ لوپو یَتھا نَ بھَوَتِ ایتَتْ تْوَدَرْتھَں پْرارْتھِتَں مَیا، تْوَنْمَنَسِ پَرِوَرْتِّتے چَ بھْراترِناں مَناںسِ سْتھِرِیکُرُ۔
33 He said to him, "Lord, I am ready to go with you both to prison and to death."
تَدا سووَدَتْ، ہے پْرَبھوہَں تْوَیا سارْدّھَں کاراں مرِتِنْچَ یاتُں مَجِّتوسْمِ۔
34 He said, "I tell you, Peter, the rooster will by no means crow today until you deny that you know me three times."
تَتَح سَ اُواچَ، ہے پِتَرَ تْواں وَدامِ، اَدْیَ کُکُّٹَرَواتْ پُورْوَّں تْوَں مَتْپَرِچَیَں وارَتْرَیَمْ اَپَہْووشْیَسے۔
35 He said to them, "When I sent you out without money bag, and pack, and shoes, did you lack anything?" They said, "Nothing."
اَپَرَں سَ پَپْرَچّھَ، یَدا مُدْراسَمْپُٹَں کھادْیَپاتْرَں پادُکانْچَ وِنا یُشْمانْ پْراہِنَوَں تَدا یُشْماکَں کَسْیاپِ نْیُونَتاسِیتْ؟ تے پْروچُح کَسْیاپِ نَ۔
36 Then he said to them, "But now, whoever has a money bag must take it, and likewise a pack. Whoever has none, must sell his cloak, and buy a sword.
تَدا سووَدَتْ کِنْتْوِدانِیں مُدْراسَمْپُٹَں کھادْیَپاتْرَں وا یَسْیاسْتِ تینَ تَدْگْرَہِیتَوْیَں، یَسْیَ چَ کرِپانو ناسْتِ تینَ سْوَوَسْتْرَں وِکْرِییَ سَ کْریتَوْیَح۔
37 For I tell you that this which is written must still be fulfilled in me: 'And he was numbered with transgressors.' For that which concerns me has an end."
یَتو یُشْمانَہَں وَدامِ، اَپَرادھِجَنَیح سارْدّھَں گَنِتَح سَ بھَوِشْیَتِ۔ اِدَں یَچّھاسْتْرِییَں وَچَنَں لِکھِتَمَسْتِ تَنْمَیِ پھَلِشْیَتِ یَتو مَمَ سَمْبَنْدھِییَں سَرْوَّں سیتْسْیَتِ۔
38 They said, "Lord, look, here are two swords." He said to them, "That is enough."
تَدا تے پْروچُح پْرَبھو پَشْیَ اِمَو کرِپانَو۔ تَتَح سووَدَدْ ایتَو یَتھیشْٹَو۔
39 He came out, and went, as his custom was, to the Mount of Olives. His disciples also followed him.
اَتھَ سَ تَسْمادْوَہِ رْگَتْوا سْواچارانُسارینَ جَیتُنَنامادْرِں جَگامَ شِشْیاشْچَ تَتْپَشْچادْ یَیُح۔
40 When he was at the place, he said to them, "Pray that you do not enter into temptation."
تَتْروپَسْتھایَ سَ تانُواچَ، یَتھا پَرِیکْشایاں نَ پَتَتھَ تَدَرْتھَں پْرارْتھَیَدھْوَں۔
41 He was withdrawn from them about a stone's throw, and he knelt down and prayed,
پَشْچاتْ سَ تَسْمادْ ایکَشَرَکْشیپادْ بَہِ رْگَتْوا جانُنِی پاتَیِتْوا ایتَتْ پْرارْتھَیانْچَکْرے،
42 saying, "Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done."
ہے پِتَ رْیَدِ بھَوانْ سَمَّنْیَتے تَرْہِ کَںسَمینَں مَمانْتِکادْ دُورَیَ کِنْتُ مَدِچّھانُرُوپَں نَ تْوَدِچّھانُرُوپَں بھَوَتُ۔
43 And an angel from heaven appeared to him, strengthening him.
تَدا تَسْمَے شَکْتِں داتُں سْوَرْگِییَدُوتو دَرْشَنَں دَدَو۔
44 Being in agony he prayed more earnestly. His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down on the ground.
پَشْچاتْ سوتْیَنْتَں یاتَنَیا وْیاکُلو بھُوتْوا پُنَرْدرِڈھَں پْرارْتھَیانْچَکْرے، تَسْمادْ برِہَچّھونِتَبِنْدَوَ اِوَ تَسْیَ سْویدَبِنْدَوَح پرِتھِوْیاں پَتِتُماریبھِرے۔
45 When he rose up from his prayer, he came to the disciples, and found them sleeping because of grief,
اَتھَ پْرارْتھَناتَ اُتّھایَ شِشْیاناں سَمِیپَمیتْیَ تانْ مَنودُحکھِنو نِدْرِتانْ درِشْٹْواوَدَتْ
46 and said to them, "Why do you sleep? Rise and pray that you may not enter into temptation."
کُتو نِدْراتھَ؟ پَرِیکْشایامْ اَپَتَنارْتھَں پْرَرْتھَیَدھْوَں۔
47 While he was still speaking, look, a crowd came, and he who was called Judas, one of the twelve, was leading them. He came near to Jesus to kiss him.
ایتَتْکَتھایاح کَتھَنَکالے دْوادَشَشِشْیاناں مَدھْیے گَنِتو یِہُوداناما جَنَتاسَہِتَسْتیشامْ اَگْرے چَلِتْوا یِیشوشْچُمْبَنارْتھَں تَدَنْتِکَمْ آیَیَو۔
48 But Jesus said to him, "Judas, do you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?"
تَدا یِیشُرُواچَ، ہے یِہُودا کِں چُمْبَنینَ مَنُشْیَپُتْرَں پَرَکَریشُ سَمَرْپَیَسِ؟
49 When those who were around him saw what was about to happen, they said to him, "Lord, shall we strike with the sword?"
تَدا یَدْیَدْ گھَٹِشْیَتے تَدَنُمایَ سَنْگِبھِرُکْتَں، ہے پْرَبھو وَیَں کِ کھَنْگینَ گھاتَیِشْیامَح؟
50 A certain one of them struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.
تَتَ ایکَح کَرَوالیناہَتْیَ پْرَدھانَیاجَکَسْیَ داسَسْیَ دَکْشِنَں کَرْنَں چِچّھیدَ۔
51 But Jesus answered and said, "No more of this." Then he touched his ear and healed him.
اَدھُونا نِوَرْتَّسْوَ اِتْیُکْتْوا یِیشُسْتَسْیَ شْرُتِں سْپرِشْٹْوا سْوَسْیَں چَکارَ۔
52 Jesus said to the chief priests, captains of the temple, and elders, who had come against him, "Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs?
پَشْچادْ یِیشُح سَمِیپَسْتھانْ پْرَدھانَیاجَکانْ مَنْدِرَسْیَ سیناپَتِینْ پْراچِیناںشْچَ جَگادَ، یُویَں کرِپانانْ یَشْٹِیںشْچَ گرِہِیتْوا ماں کِں چورَں دھَرْتُّمایاتاح؟
53 When I was with you in the temple daily, you did not stretch out your hands against me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness."
یَداہَں یُشْمابھِح سَہَ پْرَتِدِنَں مَنْدِرےتِشْٹھَں تَدا ماں دھَرْتَّں نَ پْرَورِتّاح، کِنْتْوِدانِیں یُشْماکَں سَمَیونْدھَکارَسْیَ چادھِپَتْیَمَسْتِ۔
54 They seized him, and led him away, and brought him into the high priest's house. But Peter followed from a distance.
اَتھَ تے تَں دھرِتْوا مَہایاجَکَسْیَ نِویشَنَں نِنْیُح۔ تَتَح پِتَرو دُورے دُورے پَشْچادِتْوا
55 When they had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard, and had sat down together, Peter sat among them.
برِہَتْکوشْٹھَسْیَ مَدھْیے یَتْراگْنِں جْوالَیِتْوا لوکاح سَمیتْیوپَوِشْٹاسْتَتْرَ تَیح سارْدّھَمْ اُپَوِویشَ۔
56 A certain servant girl saw him as he sat in the light, and looking intently at him, said, "This man also was with him."
اَتھَ وَہْنِسَنِّدھَو سَمُپَویشَکالے کاچِدّاسِی مَنو نِوِشْیَ تَں نِرِیکْشْیاوَدَتْ پُمانَیَں تَسْیَ سَنْگےسْتھاتْ۔
57 But he denied it, saying, "Woman, I do not know him."
کِنْتُ سَ تَدْ اَپَہْنُتْیاوادِیتْ ہے نارِ تَمَہَں نَ پَرِچِنومِ۔
58 After a little while someone else saw him, and said, "You also are one of them." But Peter answered, "Man, I am not."
کْشَنانْتَرےنْیَجَنَسْتَں درِشْٹْوابْرَوِیتْ تْوَمَپِ تیشاں نِکَرَسْیَیکَجَنوسِ۔ پِتَرَح پْرَتْیُواچَ ہے نَرَ ناہَمَسْمِ۔
59 After about one hour passed, another confidently affirmed, saying, "Truly this man also was with him, for he is a Galilean."
تَتَح سارْدّھَدَنْڈَدْوَیاتْ پَرَں پُنَرَنْیو جَنو نِشْچِتْیَ بَبھاشے، ایشَ تَسْیَ سَنْگِیتِ سَتْیَں یَتویَں گالِیلِییو لوکَح۔
60 But Peter said, "Man, I do not know what you are talking about." Immediately, while he was still speaking, a rooster crowed.
تَدا پِتَرَ اُواچَ ہے نَرَ تْوَں یَدْ وَدَمِ تَدَہَں بودّھُں نَ شَکْنومِ، اِتِ واکْیے کَتھِتَماتْرے کُکُّٹو رُراوَ۔
61 The Lord turned, and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered the Lord's word, how he said to him, "Before the rooster crows today you will deny me three times."
تَدا پْرَبھُنا وْیادھُٹْیَ پِتَرے نِرِیکْشِتے کرِکَواکُرَواتْ پُورْوَّں ماں تْرِرَپَہْنوشْیَسے اِتِ پُورْوّوکْتَں تَسْیَ واکْیَں پِتَرَح سْمرِتْوا
62 And he went out, and wept bitterly.
بَہِرْگَتْوا مَہاکھیدینَ چَکْرَنْدَ۔
63 The men who held him began mocking and beating him.
تَدا یَے رْیِیشُرْدھرِتَسْتے تَمُپَہَسْیَ پْرَہَرْتُّماریبھِرے۔
64 And having blindfolded him, they were striking his face and kept asking him, saying, "Prophesy, who is the one who struck you?"
وَسْتْرینَ تَسْیَ درِشَو بَدّھوا کَپولے چَپیٹاگھاتَں کرِتْوا پَپْرَچّھُح، کَسْتے کَپولے چَپیٹاگھاتَں کرِتَوانَ؟ گَنَیِتْوا تَدْ وَدَ۔
65 They spoke many other things against him, insulting him.
تَدَنْیَتْ تَدْوِرُدّھَں بَہُنِنْداواکْیَں وَکْتُماریبھِرے۔
66 As soon as it was day, the council of the elders of the people gathered together, both chief priests and scribes, and they led him away into their council, saying,
اَتھَ پْرَبھاتے سَتِ لوکَپْرانْچَح پْرَدھانَیاجَکا اَدھْیاپَکاشْچَ سَبھاں کرِتْوا مَدھْییسَبھَں یِیشُمانِییَ پَپْرَچّھُح، تْوَمْ اَبھِشِکَتوسِ نَ واسْمانْ وَدَ۔
67 "If you are the Christ, tell us." But he said to them, "If I tell you, you won't believe,
سَ پْرَتْیُواچَ، مَیا تَسْمِنُّکْتےپِ یُویَں نَ وِشْوَسِشْیَتھَ۔
68 and if I ask, you will not answer me, or let me go.
کَسْمِںشْچِدْواکْیے یُشْمانْ پرِشْٹےپِ ماں نَ تَدُتَّرَں وَکْشْیَتھَ نَ ماں تْیَکْشْیَتھَ چَ۔
69 From now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God."
کِنْتْوِتَح پَرَں مَنُجَسُتَح سَرْوَّشَکْتِمَتَ اِیشْوَرَسْیَ دَکْشِنے پارْشْوے سَمُپَویکْشْیَتِ۔
70 They all said, "Are you then the Son of God?" He said to them, "You say that I am."
تَتَسْتے پَپْرَچّھُح، رْتِہَ تْوَمِیشْوَرَسْیَ پُتْرَح؟ سَ کَتھَیاماسَ، یُویَں یَتھارْتھَں وَدَتھَ سَ ایواہَں۔
71 They said, "Why do we need any more witness? For we ourselves have heard from his own mouth."
تَدا تے سَرْوّے کَتھَیاماسُح، رْتِہَ ساکْشْیےنْسَسْمِنْ اَسْماکَں کِں پْرَیوجَنَں؟ اَسْیَ سْوَمُکھادیوَ ساکْشْیَں پْراپْتَمْ۔
