Leviticus 21
1 Jehovah said to Moses, "Speak to the priests, the sons of Aaron, and say to them, 'A priest shall not defile himself for the dead among his people;
ヱホバ、モーセに告て言たまはくアロンの子等なる祭司等に告てこれに言へ民の中の死人のために身を汚す者あるべからず
2 except for his relatives that are near to him: for his mother, for his father, for his son, for his daughter, for his brother,
但しその骨肉の親のためすなはちその母のため父のため男子のため女子のため兄弟のため
3 and for his virgin sister who is near to him, who has had no husband; for her he may defile himself.
またその姉妹の處女にして未だ夫あらざる者のためには身を汚すも宜し
4 He shall not defile himself, being a chief man among his people, to profane himself.
祭司はその民の中の長者なれば身を汚して褻たる者となるべからず
5 "'They shall not shave their heads, neither shall they shave off the corners of their beards, nor make any cuttings in their flesh.
彼等は髮をそりて頭に毛なき所をつくるべからずその鬚の兩傍を損ずべからずまたその身に傷つくべからず
6 They shall be holy to their God, and not profane the name of their God; for they offer the offerings of Jehovah made by fire, the bread of their God; therefore they shall be holy.
その神に對て聖あるべくまたその神の名をけがすべからず彼等はヱホバの火祭すなはち其神の食物を献ぐる者なれば聖あるべきなり
7 "'They shall not marry a woman who is a prostitute, or profane; neither shall they marry a woman divorced from her husband: for he is holy to his God.
彼等は妓女または汚れたる女を妻に娶るべからずまた夫に出されたる女を娶るべからず其はその身ヱホバにむかひて聖ければなり
8 You shall sanctify him therefore; for he offers the bread of your God: he shall be holy to you: for I Jehovah, who sanctify you, am holy.
汝かれをもて聖者とすべし彼は汝の神ヱホバの食物を献ぐる者なればなり汝すなはちこれをもて聖者となすべし其は我ヱホバ汝らを聖別る者聖ければなり
9 "'The daughter of any priest, if she profanes herself by playing the prostitute, she profanes her father: she shall be burned with fire.
祭司の女たる者淫行をなしてその身を汚さば是その父を汚すなり火をもてこれを燒べし
10 "'He who is the high priest among his brothers, upon whose head the anointing oil is poured, and that is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not let the hair of his head hang loose, nor tear his clothes;
その兄弟の中灌膏を首にそそがれ職に任ぜられて祭司の長となれる者はその頭をあらはすべからずまたその衣服を裂べからず
11 neither shall he go in to any dead body, nor defile himself for his father, or for his mother;
死人の所に往べからずまたその父のためにも母のためにも身を汚すべからず
12 neither shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the crown of the anointing oil of his God is upon him. I am Jehovah.
また聖所より出べからずその神の聖所を褻すべからず其はその神の任職の灌膏首にあればなり我はヱホバなり
13 "'He shall take a wife in her virginity.
彼妻には處女を娶るべし
14 A widow, or one divorced, or a woman who has been defiled, or a prostitute, these he shall not marry: but a virgin of his own people shall he take as a wife.
寡婦休れたる婦または汚れたる婦妓女等は娶るべからず惟自己の民の中の處女を妻にめとるべし
15 He shall not profane his offspring among his people: for I am Jehovah who sanctifies him.'"
その民の中に自己の子孫を汚すべからずヱホバこれを聖別ればなり
16 Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
ヱホバ、モーセに告て言たまはく
17 "Say to Aaron, 'None of your descendants throughout their generations who has a blemish, may approach to offer the bread of his God.
アロンに告て言へ凡そ汝の歴代の子孫の中身に疵ある者は進みよりてその神ヱホバの食物を献ぐる事を爲べからず
18 For whatever man he is that has a blemish, he shall not draw near: a blind man, or a lame, or he who has a flat nose, or any deformity,
凡て疵ある人は進みよるべからずすなはち瞽者跛者および鼻の缺たる者成餘るところ身にある者
19 or a man who has an injured foot, or an injured hand,
脚の折たる者手の折たる者
20 or hunchbacked, or a dwarf, or one who has a defect in his eye, or an itching disease, or scabs, or who has damaged testicles;
傴僂者侏儒目に雲膜ある者疥ある者癬ある者外腎の壞れたる者等は進みよるべからず
21 no man of the descendants of Aaron the priest, who has a blemish, shall come near to present offerings to your God made by fire. Since he has a blemish, he shall not come near to offer the bread of his God.
凡そ祭司アロンの子孫の中身に疵ある者は進みよりてヱホバの火祭を献ぐべからず彼は身に疵あるなれば進みよりてヱホバの食物を献ぐべからざるなり
22 He shall eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy.
神の食物の至聖者も聖者も彼は食ふことを得
23 He shall not come near to the veil, nor come near to the altar, because he has a blemish; that he may not profane my sanctuaries, for I am Jehovah who sanctifies them.'"
然ど障蔽の幕に至べからずまた祭壇に近よるべからず其は身に疵あればなり斯かれわが聖所を汚すべからず其は我ヱホバこれを聖別ればなり
24 So Moses spoke to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all the children of Israel.
モーセすなはちアロンとその子等およびイスラエルの一切の子孫にこれを告たり
