Judges 2
1 The angel of Jehovah came up from Gilgal to Bochim. He said, "I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you to the land which I swore to your fathers; and I said, 'I will never break my covenant with you:
၁ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ တမန် တော်သည်၊ ဂိလဂါလ မြို့မှ ဗောခိမ် မြို့သို့ လာ ၍ ၊ သင် တို့ဘိုးဘေး တို့အား ငါကျိန်ဆို သော ပြည် သို့ အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည်မှ သင် တို့ကို ငါဆောင် ခဲ့ပြီ။ သင် တို့နှင့် ငါ ဖွဲ့သော ပဋိညာဉ် ကို ငါမ ဖျက် အစဉ်အမြဲ စောင့် မည်။
2 and you shall make no covenant with the inhabitants of this land; you shall break down their altars.' But you have not listened to my voice: why have you done this?
၂သင် တို့သည် ဤ ပြည် သားတို့နှင့် မိဿဟာယ မ ဖွဲ့ ရ။ သူ တို့ ယဇ်ပလ္လင် တို့ကို လှဲ ချရမည်ဟု ငါဆိုသော်လည်း ၊ သင်တို့သည် ငါ့ စကား ကို နား မ ထောင်ကြ။ အဘယ်ကြောင့် ဤသို့ ပြု ကြသနည်း။
3 Therefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you, but they will become your adversaries, and their gods shall be a snare to you."
၃တဖန် ငါဆို သည်ကား၊ ဤပြည်သားတို့ကို သင် တို့ရှေ့ မှ ငါမ နှင်ထုတ်။ သူတို့သည် သင် တို့တစ်ဘက် ၌ မုဆိုးလုပ် လျက်၊ သူ တို့ဘုရား တို့သည်လည်း သင် တို့၌ ကျော့ကွင်း ဖြစ် ကြလိမ့်မည်ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
4 It happened, when the angel of Jehovah spoke these words to all the children of Israel, that the people lifted up their voice, and wept.
၄ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ တမန် တော်သည် ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားအပေါင်း တို့အား ဤ သို့မိန့် တော်မူသောအခါ ၊ လူ များတို့သည် အသံ ကို လွှင့် ၍ ငိုကြွေး ကြ၏။
5 They called the name of that place Bochim: and they sacrificed there to Jehovah.
၅ထို အရပ် ကို ဗောခိမ် အမည် ဖြင့် မှည့် ၍ ထာဝရဘုရား အား ယဇ်ပူဇော် ကြ၏။
6 Now when Joshua had sent the people away, the children of Israel went every man to his inheritance to possess the land.
၆အထက်က ယောရှု သည် လူ များတို့ကို လွှတ် လိုက်သောအခါ ၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့သည် အသီးအသီး မိမိ တို့အမွေခံ ရာမြေ ကို သိမ်းယူ ခြင်းငှါ သွား ကြ၏။
7 The people served Jehovah all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders who outlived Joshua, who had seen all the great work of Jehovah that he had worked for Israel.
၇ယောရှု လက်ထက် ကာလပတ်လုံး ၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့သည် ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ဝတ်ပြု ကြ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ဣသရေလ အမျိုးအဘို့ ပြု တော်မူသောအမှု ကြီး အလုံးစုံ တို့ကို သိမြင် ၍၊ ယောရှု မရှိသောနောက် အသက် ရှင်သေးသော အသက်ကြီး သူတို့လက်ထက် ၌လည်း ထာဝရဘုရားကို ဝတ်ပြုကြ၏။
8 Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Jehovah, died, being one hundred ten years old.
၈ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ကျွန် ၊ နုန် ၏သား ယောရှု သည် အသက်တရာ တဆယ် ရှိသော်အနိစ္စရောက် လေ၏။
9 They buried him in the territory of his inheritance in Timnath Serah, in the hill country of Ephraim, on the north of the mountain of Gaash.
၉ဧဖရိမ် တောင် ပေါ်၊ ဂါရှ ကုန်း မြောက် မှာ ရှိသောသူ ၏အမွေခံ ရာ တိမန မြေ ၌ သင်္ဂြိုဟ် ကြ၏။
10 And all that generation were also gathered to their fathers. And there arose another generation after them who did not know Jehovah, nor the works which he had done for Israel.
၁၀ယောရှုလက်ထက်ကာလ၌ ဖြစ်သောသူအပေါင်း တို့သည်လည်း ၊ ဘိုးဘေး တို့ စုဝေး ရာသို့ ရောက်ကြ ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား ကို၎င်း၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးအဘို့ ပြု တော်မူသောအမှု တို့ကို၎င်း မ သိ သော နောင် ကာလ အမျိုးသားတို့သည် ပေါ် လာကြ၏။
11 The children of Israel did that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah, and served the Baals;
၁၁ထိုကာလအခါ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့သည် ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ ဒုစရိုက် ကို ပြု ၍ ဗာလ ဘုရားတို့ကို ဝတ်ပြု ကြ၏။
12 and they forsook Jehovah, the God of their fathers, who brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods, of the gods of the peoples who were around them, and bowed themselves down to them: and they provoked Jehovah to anger.
၁၂အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည် မှ သူ တို့ကို ဆောင် ခဲ့တော်မူသောဘိုးဘေး တို့၏ ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား ကို စွန့် ၍ ၊ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင် ၌ရှိသောလူမျိုး တို့၏ ဘုရား တပါး တို့နောက် သို့ လိုက် လျက် ဦးညွှတ် သဖြင့် ထာဝရဘုရား အမျက် တော်ကို ထွက်စေကြ၏။
13 They forsook Jehovah, and served Baal and the Ashtaroth.
၁၃ထာဝရဘုရား ကို စွန့် ၍ ဗာလ ဘုရား၊ အာရှတရက် ဘုရားတို့ကို ဝတ်ပြု ကြသောကြောင့်၊
14 The anger of Jehovah was kindled against Israel, and he delivered them into the hands of marauders who plundered them; and he sold them into the hands of their enemies all around, so that they could not any longer stand before their enemies.
၁၄ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၌ ပြင်းစွာအမျက်ထွက် လျက်၊ လုယူ သောသူတို့ လက် သို့ အပ် ၍ ၊ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင် သော ရန်သူ တို့၌ ရောင်း တော်မူသဖြင့်၊ ရန်သူ တို့ ရှေ့ မှာ သူတို့သည် တဖန် မ ရပ် နိုင် ကြ။
15 Wherever they went out, the hand of Jehovah was against them for harm, as Jehovah had spoken, and as Jehovah had sworn to them: and they were in great distress.
၁၅သူတို့သည် ထွက် သွားလေရာရာ၌ ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် မြွက်ကျိန်ဆို တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း ၊ လက် တော် အဆီးအတားနှင့် တွေ့၍ အလွန် ဆင်းရဲခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ကြ၏။
16 Jehovah raised up judges, who saved them out of the hand of those who plundered them.
၁၆သို့ရာတွင် လုယူ သောသူတို့ လက် မှ ကယ်လွှတ် သော တရားသူကြီး တို့ကို ထာဝရဘုရား ပေါ်ထွန်း စေတော်မူ၏။
17 Yet they did not listen to their judges; for they played the prostitute after other gods, and bowed themselves down to them: they turned aside quickly out of the way in which their fathers walked, obeying the commandments of Jehovah; but they did not do so.
၁၇ထိုတရားသူကြီး တို့ စကားကိုလည်း သူတို့သည် နား မ ထောင်၊ အခြား တပါးသော ဘုရား တို့နှင့် မှားယွင်း ၍ ဦးညွှတ် ကြ၏။ ဘိုးဘေး တို့သည် ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ ပညတ် တော်တို့ကို ကျင့် ၍ လိုက် သော လမ်း မှ သူတို့သည် အလျင်အမြန် လွဲ သွားသဖြင့်၊ ဘိုးဘေးကျင့်သည်အတိုင်း မ ကျင့် ကြ။
18 When Jehovah raised up judges for them, then Jehovah was with the judge, and saved them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge: for it grieved Jehovah because of their groaning by reason of those who oppressed them and troubled them.
၁၈ထာဝရဘုရား သည် တရားသူကြီး ကို ပေါ်ထွန်း စေသောအခါ သူ နှင့်အတူ ရှိ ၍ ၊ သူ့ လက်ထက် ပတ်လုံး ဣသရေလ လူတို့ကို ရန်သူ ၏လက် မှ ကယ်လွှတ် တော်မူ၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ သူတို့သည် နှောင့်ရှက် ညှဉ်းဆဲ ခြင်းကို ခံရ၍ မြည်တမ်း ကြသောအခါ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် နောင်တရ တော်မူ၏။
19 But it happened, when the judge was dead, that they turned back, and dealt more corruptly than their fathers, in following other gods to serve them, and to bow down to them; they did not cease from their practices, and they did not turn aside from their stubborn ways.
၁၉တရားသူကြီး သေ သောနောက်၊ သူတို့သည် တဖန် ဘိုးဘေး ထက် သာ၍ဆိုး သဖြင့်၊ အခြား တပါးသော ဘုရား တို့နောက် သို့ လိုက် လျက် ဝတ်ပြု ၍ ဦးညွှတ် ကြ၏။ မိမိ တို့ အကျင့် ဓလေ့နှင့် ကြမ်းတမ်း သော လမ်း ကို မ စွန့် မပယ်ကြ။
20 The anger of Jehovah was kindled against Israel; and he said, "Because this nation has transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and have not obeyed my voice;
၂၀ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၌ ပြင်းစွာအမျက်ထွက် လျက်၊ ဤ လူ တို့သည် ငါ့ စကား ကို နား မ ထောင်။ သူ တို့ ဘိုးဘေး တို့နှင့် ငါဖွဲ့ သော ပဋိညာဉ် ကို ဖျက် သောကြောင့်၊
21 I will no longer drive out before them any of the nations that Joshua left when he died;
၂၁ယောရှု သေ သောနောက် ကျန် ကြွင်းရစ်သော လူမျိုး တစုံတမျိုးကို သူ တို့ရှေ့ မှ နောက်တဖန် ငါ မ နှင်ထုတ်။
22 that by them I may test Israel, whether they will keep the way of Jehovah to walk in it, as their fathers kept it, or not."
၂၂သူ တို့ ဘိုးဘေး တို့သည် ထာဝရဘုရား ၏လမ်း တော်သို့ လိုက် ခြင်းငှါစောင့်ရှောက် သကဲ့သို့ သူတို့သည် စောင့်ရှောက် မည်လော၊ မ စောင့်ရှောက်လောဟု ကျန်သေးသော လူမျိုးအားဖြင့်ဣသရေလ အမျိုးကို ငါစုံစမ်း မည်ဟု မိန့် တော်မူသည်နှင့်အညီ၊
23 So Jehovah left those nations, without driving them out hastily; neither delivered he them into the hand of Joshua.
၂၃ထို လူမျိုး ကို ယောရှု လက် ၌ မ အပ် အလျင်အမြန် မ နှင်ထုတ် ဘဲ နေ တော်မူ၏။
