< John 5 >
1 After these things, there was a Jewish festival, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
Momo bu mavioka, kuyiza ba nyengo wu bayuda, Yesu wuyenda ku Yelusalemi.
2 Now in Jerusalem by the sheep area there is a pool, which is called in Hebrew, "Beth Hesda," having five porches.
Va ndambu muelo phaka yi mamemi, vaba buindi kimosi ki nlangu kiba mintanda mintanu mi makunzi. Dizina di buindi beni mu ki Ebelewo Betezata.
3 In these lay a multitude of those who were sick, blind, lame, or paralyzed.
Mu makunzi beni muleka bambevo bawombo: baphofo, batu babantiudikanga ayi batu baba binama bibela. [Baba vingilanga nlangu wunikuka.
Bila zithangu zinkaka mbasi yi Pfumu yiba kulukanga mu buindiayi nikunanga nlangu. Woso wuba mutu wutheti mu kukiloza mu buindi, nlangubu wunikunu, niandi wumbeluka boso buididi kimbevo kiandi.]
5 A certain man was there, who had been sick for thirty-eight years.
Vaba mbevo yimosi yibedila mu makumatatu ayi nana di mimvu.
6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he had been sick for a long time, he asked him, "Do you want to be made well?"
Yesu bu kammona buna kalambididi vana, ayi bu kazaba ti mutu beni wubedila kimbevo kiandi tona thama; buna wunyuvula: —Tidi beluka e?
7 The sick man answered him, "Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, but while I am on my way, someone else steps down ahead of me."
Mbevo yimvutuddila: —Tata, ndisi ko mutu wukutsadisa mu vika kuthibula mu buindi nlangu bu wunikunu. Bila mu thangu minu ndinkuiza buna wunkaka wuntibukanga tuamina minu.
8 Jesus said to him, "Arise, take up your mat, and walk."
Buna Yesu wunkamba: —Telama, bonga khualꞌaku ayi diata.
9 Immediately, the man was made well, and took up his mat and walked. Now it was the Sabbath on that day.
Vana vawu, mutu wubeluka. Wubonga khualꞌandi, wutona diata. Vayi lumbu beni kiba ki saba.
10 So the Jewish leaders said to him who was cured, "It is the Sabbath. It is not lawful for you to carry the mat."
Bayuda bakamba mutu wowo wubeluka ti: —Buabu kidi lumbu ki saba, mina mieti kandika mu nata khuala!
11 But he answered them, "The one who made me well, that one said to me, 'Take up your mat, and walk.'"
Vayi mutu beni wuba vutudila: —Mutu wowo wumbelusidi, niandi wukhembingi ti “bonga khualꞌaku ayi diata!”
12 Then they asked him, "Who is the man who said to you to pick it up and walk?"
Banyuvula: —Nani mutu wowo wukembingi ti: “bonga khualꞌaku ayi diata e?”
13 But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a crowd being in the place.
Vayi mutu wowo wubeluka kasia zaba ko mutu wowo wumbelusa. Bila Yesu wukifielumukinina mu nkangu wu batu wuba vana.
14 Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, "See, you are made well. Sin no more, so that nothing worse happens to you."
Mambu momo bu mavioka, Yesu wudengana mutu beni mu Nzo Nzambi, wunkamba: —Tala, buabu belukidi. Vayi, kadi buela vola masumu tala wedi builu malutidi biva.
15 The man went away, and told the Jewish leaders that it was Jesus who had made him well.
Buna mutu beni wuyenda ayi wukamba Bayuda ti Yesu niandi wumbelusidingi.
16 For this cause the Jewish leaders persecuted Jesus, because he did these things on the Sabbath.
Mu diambu diodi Bayuda bayamisa Yesu bila wuvanga mambu momo mu lumbu ki saba.
17 But he answered them, "My Father is still working, so I am working, too."
Vayi yesu wuba vutudila: —Dise diama dilembo sadi nate buabu, diawu minu mamvama ndilembo sadi!
18 For this cause therefore the Jewish leaders sought all the more to kill him, because he not only broke the Sabbath, but also called God his own Father, making himself equal with God.
Mu diambu di mambu momo, Bayuda baluta buela tomba kumvonda; bika sia ti mu diambu kambundulanga lumbu ki saba vayi mu diambu kankambanga diaka ti Nzambi niandi Dise diandi ayi weta kukidedikisanga banga Nzambi.
19 Jesus therefore answered them, "Truly, truly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father doing. For whatever things he does, these the Son also does likewise.
Vayi Yesu wuba vutudila: —Bukiedika ndikulukamba ti Muana kalendi vanga diambu mu niandi veka ko. Wumvanganga kaka moso mambu kamona kuidi dise diandi. Moso mambu mamvanganga Tata mawu Muana keti vanga.
20 For the Father loves the Son, and shows him all things that he himself does. He will show him greater works than these, so that you may marvel.
Bila Tata wunzolanga Muana, wunkumonisanga mambu mosomomo keti vanganga niandi veka; wela kummonisa mavanga malutiditola ayi mama muingi lulembo kasiminanga.
21 For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom he desires.
Bila banga Tata bu keti fulukisanga bafua ayi keti kuba vananga luzingu, buawu bobo muana keti vanina luzingu kuidi woso wukatidi.
22 For the Father judges no one, but he has given all judgment to the Son,
Niandi veka Tata kasambisanga mutu ko vayi wuyekula tsambusulu yoso mu mioko mi Muana
23 that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.
mu diambu batu boso bakinzika Muana banga bobo beta kinzikila Tata. Woso mutu wunkambu kinzikanga Muana, buna kakinzikanga ko Dise diodi dintuma.
24 "Truly, truly, I tell you, he who hears my word, and believes him who sent me, has everlasting life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life. (aiōnios )
Bukiedika ndikulukamba ti woso mutu wu wa mambu mama ayiwunwilukila mutu wowo wuthuma buna niandi beki luzingu lukalumaniayi kalendi sambusu ko, bila wukatukidi mu lufua ayi wuyizidi ku luzingu. (aiōnios )
25 Truly, truly, I tell you, the hour comes, and now is, when the dead will hear the Son of God's voice; and those who hear will live.
Bukiedika, bukiedika ndikulukamba ti thangu yeka kuiza, ayi yifueni, yoyi bafua bela wila mbembo yi Muana Nzambi ayi bobo bela kuyiwa bawu bela zinga.
26 For as the Father has life in himself, even so he gave to the Son also to have life in himself.
Bila banga Tata bu kabakidi luzingu mu niandi veka, buawu bobo kavanina Muana mu baka luzingu mu niandi veka.
27 He also gave him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man.
Sumbu kadi ti Muana Mutu, buna wumvana lulendo lu sambisila.
28 Do not be amazed at this, for the hour comes, in which all that are in the tombs will hear his voice,
Bikanu kueno simina mu diambu diodi; bila thangu yeka kuiza, yoyi babo bobo badi mu biziami bela wila mbembo andi;
29 and will come out; those who have done good, to the resurrection of life; and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of judgment.
bela totuka. Babo bavanga mamboti bela fuluka mu diambu di tambulaluzingu vayi bobo bavanga mambu mambimbi bela fuluka mu diambu di tambula thumbudulu.
30 I can of myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is righteous; because I do not seek my own will, but the will of the One who sent me.
Minu ndilendi vanga kadi diambu dimosi ko mu minu veka. Ndieti sambisa boso buididi mambu momo ndieti wa ayi tsambusuluꞌama yidi yisonga. Bila nditombanga ko luzolo luama vayi ndintombanga luzolo lu mutu wowo wuthuma.
31 "If I testify about myself, my witness is not valid.
—Enati minu veka ndikukiteliminanga kimbangi buna kimbangi kiamakisi ki kiedika ko.
32 It is another who testifies about me. I know that the testimony which he testifies about me is true.
Vayi vadi mutu wunkaka wukuthelimina kimbangi ayi nzebi ti kimbangi kiandi, mu diambu diama, kidi ki kiedika.
33 You have sent to John, and he has testified to the truth.
Beno lutuma batu kuidi Yowani ayi niandi wutelimina kiedika kimbangi.
34 But the testimony which I receive is not from man. However, I say these things that you may be saved.
Vayi minu, ndisi ko mfunu telomono kimbangi kuidi mutu vayithubidi bobo muingi luvuka.
35 He was the burning and shining lamp, and you were willing to rejoice for a while in his light.
Yowani wuba muinda wunlema ayi wunlezama, ayi, beno luzola monakhini mu ndambu thangu kaka mu kiezila kiandi.
36 But the testimony which I have is greater than that of John, for the works which the Father gave me to accomplish, the very works that I do, testify about me, that the Father has sent me.
Vayi kimbangi kidi yama kiviokidi munneni ayi kimbangi ki Yowani. Bila mavanga maphana Tata mu dukisa, mawu ndieta vanga ayi mawu meta telama kimbangi mu minu ti Tata wuthuma.
37 The Father himself, who sent me, has testified about me. You have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his form.
Tata, mutu wowo wuthuma, niandi veka wutelama kimbangi mu diambudiama. Vayi luwilu ko mbemboꞌandi andi lumueni ko zizi kiandi
38 You do not have his word living in you; because you do not believe him whom he sent.
ayi mambu mandi masi ko mu beno, bila mutu wowo katuma benolukadi kueno kunwilukila.
39 You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have everlasting life; and these are they which testify about me. (aiōnios )
Beno lueti fiongunina masonoko ila lueta banzila ti mu mawu lubakidi luzingu lukalumani ayi masonoko beni mawu meta telama kimbangi mu diambu diama. (aiōnios )
40 But you are unwilling to come to me so that you may have life.
Ayi lumengi kueno kuiza kuidi minu muingi lutambula luzingu.
41 I do not receive glory from people.
Nditombanga ko nkembo wowo wumbanga kuidi batu.
42 But I know you, that you do not have God's love in yourselves.
Muaki minu ndiluzebi ti luisi ko luzolo mu Nzambi.
43 I have come in my Father's name, and you do not receive me. If another comes in his own name, you will receive him.
Minu ndiyiza mu dizina di Dise diama ayi lumengi kuthambula. Enati mutu wunkaka wizidi mu dizina diandi veka buna niandi luntambulanga.
44 How can you believe, who receive glory from one another, and you do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?
Buevi lulenda wilukila, beno lueti tombanga nkembo mu beno yi benoayi lutombanga ko nkembo wumbanga kuidi Nzambi e?
45 "Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father. There is one who accuses you, even Moses, on whom you have set your hope.
Bikanu kueno banza ti minu ndiela kulufunda kuidi Tata vayi vadimutu wela kulufunda kuidi Tata, Moyize, mutu wowo beno lusila diana.
46 For if you believed Moses, you would believe me; for he wrote about me.
Bila enati lueta wilukila Moyize, nganu lueta kunguilukila; bila niandi wusonika mu diambu diama.
47 But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe my words?"
Enati lukadi wilukila mambu kasonika, buna buevi lulenda wilukila mambu momo ndintuba e?
