John 12
1 Then six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, whom Jesus raised from the dead.
১নিস্তাৰোৎসৱাৎ পূৰ্ৱ্ৱং দিনষট্কে স্থিতে যীশু ৰ্যং প্ৰমীতম্ ইলিযাসৰং শ্মশানাদ্ উদস্থাপৰৎ তস্য নিৱাসস্থানং বৈথনিযাগ্ৰামম্ আগচ্ছৎ|
2 So they prepared a dinner for him there; and Martha served, but Lazarus was one of those reclining at the table with him.
২তত্ৰ তদৰ্থং ৰজন্যাং ভোজ্যে কৃতে মৰ্থা পৰ্য্যৱেষযদ্ ইলিযাসৰ্ চ তস্য সঙ্গিভিঃ সাৰ্দ্ধং ভোজনাসন উপাৱিশৎ|
3 Mary, therefore, took a pound of ointment of pure nard, very precious, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the ointment.
৩তদা মৰিযম্ অৰ্দ্ধসেটকং বহুমূল্যং জটামাংসীযং তৈলম্ আনীয যীশোশ্চৰণযো ৰ্মৰ্দ্দযিৎৱা নিজকেশ ৰ্মাৰ্ষ্টুম্ আৰভত; তদা তৈলস্য পৰিমলেন গৃহম্ আমোদিতম্ অভৱৎ|
4 Then Judas Iscariot, one of his disciples, who would betray him, said,
৪যঃ শিমোনঃ পুত্ৰ ৰিষ্কৰিযোতীযো যিহূদানামা যীশুং পৰকৰেষু সমৰ্পযিষ্যতি স শিষ্যস্তদা কথিতৱান্,
5 "Why was this ointment not sold for three hundred denarii, and given to the poor?"
৫এতত্তৈলং ত্ৰিভিঃ শতৈ ৰ্মুদ্ৰাপদৈ ৰ্ৱিক্ৰীতং সদ্ দৰিদ্ৰেভ্যঃ কুতো নাদীযত?
6 Now he said this, not because he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and having the money box, used to steal what was put into it.
৬স দৰিদ্ৰলোকাৰ্থম্ অচিন্তযদ্ ইতি ন, কিন্তু স চৌৰ এৱং তন্নিকটে মুদ্ৰাসম্পুটকস্থিত্যা তন্মধ্যে যদতিষ্ঠৎ তদপাহৰৎ তস্মাৎ কাৰণাদ্ ইমাং কথামকথযৎ|
7 But Jesus said, "Leave her alone, that she may keep this for the day of my burial.
৭তদা যীশুৰকথযদ্ এনাং মা ৱাৰয সা মম শ্মশানস্থাপনদিনাৰ্থং তদৰক্ষযৎ|
8 For you always have the poor with you, but you do not always have me."
৮দৰিদ্ৰা যুষ্মাকং সন্নিধৌ সৰ্ৱ্ৱদা তিষ্ঠন্তি কিন্ত্ৱহং সৰ্ৱ্ৱদা যুষ্মাকং সন্নিধৌ ন তিষ্ঠামি|
9 A large crowd therefore of the Judeans learned that he was there, and they came, not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead.
৯ততঃ পৰং যীশুস্তত্ৰাস্তীতি ৱাৰ্ত্তাং শ্ৰুৎৱা বহৱো যিহূদীযাস্তং শ্মশানাদুত্থাপিতম্ ইলিযাসৰঞ্চ দ্ৰষ্টুং তৎ স্থানম্ আগচ্ছন|
10 But the chief priests plotted to kill Lazarus also,
১০তদা প্ৰধানযাজকাস্তম্ ইলিযাসৰমপি সংহৰ্ত্তুম্ অমন্ত্ৰযন্;
11 because on account of him many of the Jewish people went away and believed in Jesus.
১১যতস্তেন বহৱো যিহূদীযা গৎৱা যীশৌ ৱ্যশ্ৱসন্|
12 On the next day the large crowd that had come to the feast heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
১২অনন্তৰং যীশু ৰ্যিৰূশালম্ নগৰম্ আগচ্ছতীতি ৱাৰ্ত্তাং শ্ৰুৎৱা পৰেঽহনি উৎসৱাগতা বহৱো লোকাঃ
13 they took the branches of the palm trees, and went out to meet him, and were shouting, "Hosanna. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, the King of Israel."
১৩খৰ্জ্জূৰপত্ৰাদ্যানীয তং সাক্ষাৎ কৰ্ত্তুং বহিৰাগত্য জয জযেতি ৱাচং প্ৰোচ্চৈ ৰ্ৱক্তুম্ আৰভন্ত, ইস্ৰাযেলো যো ৰাজা পৰমেশ্ৱৰস্য নাম্নাগচ্ছতি স ধন্যঃ|
14 And Jesus, having found a young donkey, sat on it. As it is written,
১৪তদা "হে সিযোনঃ কন্যে মা ভৈষীঃ পশ্যাযং তৱ ৰাজা গৰ্দ্দভশাৱকম্ আৰুহ্যাগচ্ছতি"
15 "Do not be afraid, daughter of Zion. Look, your King comes, sitting on a donkey's colt."
১৫ইতি শাস্ত্ৰীযৱচনানুসাৰেণ যীশুৰেকং যুৱগৰ্দ্দভং প্ৰাপ্য তদুপৰ্য্যাৰোহৎ|
16 His disciples did not understand these things at first, but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written about him, and that they had done these things to him.
১৬অস্যাঃ ঘটনাযাস্তাৎপৰ্য্যং শিষ্যাঃ প্ৰথমং নাবুধ্যন্ত, কিন্তু যীশৌ মহিমানং প্ৰাপ্তে সতি ৱাক্যমিদং তস্মিন অকথ্যত লোকাশ্চ তম্প্ৰতীত্থম্ অকুৰ্ৱ্ৱন্ ইতি তে স্মৃতৱন্তঃ|
17 The crowd therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of the tomb, and raised him from the dead, was testifying about it.
১৭স ইলিযাসৰং শ্মশানাদ্ আগন্তুম্ আহ্ৱতৱান্ শ্মশানাঞ্চ উদস্থাপযদ্ যে যে লোকাস্তৎকৰ্ম্য সাক্ষাদ্ অপশ্যন্ তে প্ৰমাণং দাতুম্ আৰভন্ত|
18 For this cause also the crowd went and met him, because they heard that he had done this sign.
১৮স এতাদৃশম্ অদ্ভুতং কৰ্ম্মকৰোৎ তস্য জনশ্ৰুতে ৰ্লোকাস্তং সাক্ষাৎ কৰ্ত্তুম্ আগচ্ছন্|
19 The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, "See how you accomplish nothing. Look, the whole world has gone after him."
১৯ততঃ ফিৰূশিনঃ পৰস্পৰং ৱক্তুম্ আৰভন্ত যুষ্মাকং সৰ্ৱ্ৱাশ্চেষ্টা ৱৃথা জাতাঃ, ইতি কিং যূযং ন বুধ্যধ্ৱে? পশ্যত সৰ্ৱ্ৱে লোকাস্তস্য পশ্চাদ্ৱৰ্ত্তিনোভৱন্|
20 Now there were certain Greeks among those that went up to worship at the feast.
২০ভজনং কৰ্ত্তুম্ উৎসৱাগতানাং লোকানাং কতিপযা জনা অন্যদেশীযা আসন্,
21 These, therefore, came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, "Sir, we want to see Jesus."
২১তে গালীলীযবৈৎসৈদানিৱাসিনঃ ফিলিপস্য সমীপম্ আগত্য ৱ্যাহৰন্ হে মহেচ্ছ ৱযং যীশুং দ্ৰষ্টুম্ ইচ্ছামঃ|
22 Philip came and told Andrew, and in turn, Andrew came with Philip, and they told Jesus.
২২ততঃ ফিলিপো গৎৱা আন্দ্ৰিযম্ অৱদৎ পশ্চাদ্ আন্দ্ৰিযফিলিপৌ যীশৱে ৱাৰ্ত্তাম্ অকথযতাং|
23 And Jesus answered them, "The time has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.
২৩তদা যীশুঃ প্ৰত্যুদিতৱান্ মানৱসুতস্য মহিমপ্ৰাপ্তিসময উপস্থিতঃ|
24 Truly, truly, I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains by itself alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit.
২৪অহং যুষ্মানতিযথাৰ্থং ৱদামি, ধান্যবীজং মৃত্তিকাযাং পতিৎৱা যদি ন মৃযতে তৰ্হ্যেকাকী তিষ্ঠতি কিন্তু যদি মৃযতে তৰ্হি বহুগুণং ফলং ফলতি|
25 He who loves his life loses it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it to everlasting life. (aiōnios g166)
২৫যো জনে নিজপ্ৰাণান্ প্ৰিযান্ জানাতি স তান্ হাৰযিষ্যতি কিন্তু যে জন ইহলোকে নিজপ্ৰাণান্ অপ্ৰিযান্ জানাতি সেনন্তাযুঃ প্ৰাপ্তুং তান্ ৰক্ষিষ্যতি| (aiōnios g166)
26 If anyone serves me, let him follow me; and where I am, there will my servant also be. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.
২৬কশ্চিদ্ যদি মম সেৱকো ভৱিতুং ৱাঞ্ছতি তৰ্হি স মম পশ্চাদ্গামী ভৱতু, তস্মাদ্ অহং যত্ৰ তিষ্ঠামি মম সেৱকেপি তত্ৰ স্থাস্যতি; যো জনো মাং সেৱতে মম পিতাপি তং সম্মংস্যতে|
27 "Now my soul is troubled; and what shall I say? 'Father, save me from this hour?' But for this cause I came to this hour.
২৭সাম্প্ৰতং মম প্ৰাণা ৱ্যাকুলা ভৱন্তি, তস্মাদ্ হে পিতৰ এতস্মাৎ সমযান্ মাং ৰক্ষ, ইত্যহং কিং প্ৰাৰ্থযিষ্যে? কিন্ত্ৱহম্ এতৎসমযাৰ্থম্ অৱতীৰ্ণৱান্|
28 Father, glorify your name." Then there came a voice out of the sky, saying, "I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again."
২৮হে পিত: স্ৱনাম্নো মহিমানং প্ৰকাশয; তনৈৱ স্ৱনাম্নো মহিমানম্ অহং প্ৰাকাশযং পুনৰপি প্ৰকাশযিষ্যামি, এষা গগণীযা ৱাণী তস্মিন্ সমযেঽজাযত|
29 The crowd therefore, who stood by and heard it, said that it had thundered. Others said, "An angel has spoken to him."
২৯তচ্শ্ৰুৎৱা সমীপস্থলোকানাং কেচিদ্ অৱদন্ মেঘোঽগৰ্জীৎ, কেচিদ্ অৱদন্ স্ৱৰ্গীযদূতোঽনেন সহ কথামচকথৎ|
30 Jesus answered, "This voice hasn't come for my sake, but for your sakes.
৩০তদা যীশুঃ প্ৰত্যৱাদীৎ, মদৰ্থং শব্দোযং নাভূৎ যুষ্মদৰ্থমেৱাভূৎ|
31 Now is the judgment of this world. Now the prince of this world will be cast out.
৩১অধুনা জগতোস্য ৱিচাৰ: সম্পৎস্যতে, অধুনাস্য জগত: পতী ৰাজ্যাৎ চ্যোষ্যতি|
32 And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw everyone to myself."
৩২যদ্যঈ পৃথিৱ্যা ঊৰ্দ্ৱ্ৱে প্ৰোত্থাপিতোস্মি তৰ্হি সৰ্ৱ্ৱান্ মানৱান্ স্ৱসমীপম্ আকৰ্ষিষ্যামি|
33 But he said this, signifying by what kind of death he should die.
৩৩কথং তস্য মৃতি ৰ্ভৱিষ্যতি, এতদ্ বোধযিতুং স ইমাং কথাম্ অকথযৎ|
34 The crowd answered him, "We have heard out of the law that the Christ remains forever. Then how can you say, 'The Son of Man must be lifted up?' Who is this Son of Man?" (aiōn g165)
৩৪তদা লোকা অকথযন্ সোভিষিক্তঃ সৰ্ৱ্ৱদা তিষ্ঠতীতি ৱ্যৱস্থাগ্ৰন্থে শ্ৰুতম্ অস্মাভিঃ, তৰ্হি মনুষ্যপুত্ৰঃ প্ৰোত্থাপিতো ভৱিষ্যতীতি ৱাক্যং কথং ৱদসি? মনুষ্যপুত্ৰোযং কঃ? (aiōn g165)
35 Jesus therefore said to them, "Yet a little while the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, that darkness does not overtake you. He who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going.
৩৫তদা যীশুৰকথাযদ্ যুষ্মাভিঃ সাৰ্দ্ধম্ অল্পদিনানি জ্যোতিৰাস্তে, যথা যুষ্মান্ অন্ধকাৰো নাচ্ছাদযতি তদৰ্থং যাৱৎকালং যুষ্মাভিঃ সাৰ্দ্ধং জ্যোতিস্তিষ্ঠতি তাৱৎকালং গচ্ছত; যো জনোঽন্ধকাৰে গচ্ছতি স কুত্ৰ যাতীতি ন জানাতি|
36 While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become children of light." Jesus said these things, and he departed and hid himself from them.
৩৬অতএৱ যাৱৎকালং যুষ্মাকং নিকটে জ্যোতিৰাস্তে তাৱৎকালং জ্যোতীৰূপসন্তানা ভৱিতুং জ্যোতিষি ৱিশ্ৱসিত; ইমাং কথাং কথযিৎৱা যীশুঃ প্ৰস্থায তেভ্যঃ স্ৱং গুপ্তৱান্|
37 But though he had done so many signs before them, yet they did not believe in him,
৩৭যদ্যপি যীশুস্তেষাং সমক্ষম্ এতাৱদাশ্চৰ্য্যকৰ্ম্মাণি কৃতৱান্ তথাপি তে তস্মিন্ ন ৱ্যশ্ৱসন্|
38 that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke, "Lord, who has believed our report, and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?"
৩৮অতএৱ কঃ প্ৰত্যেতি সুসংৱাদং পৰেশাস্মৎ প্ৰচাৰিতং? প্ৰকাশতে পৰেশস্য হস্তঃ কস্য চ সন্নিধৌ? যিশযিযভৱিষ্যদ্ৱাদিনা যদেতদ্ ৱাক্যমুক্তং তৎ সফলম্ অভৱৎ|
39 For this cause they could not believe, for Isaiah said again,
৩৯তে প্ৰত্যেতুং নাশন্কুৱন্ তস্মিন্ যিশযিযভৱিষ্যদ্ৱাদি পুনৰৱাদীদ্,
40 He has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, lest they should see with their eyes, and understand with their heart, and turn, and I would heal them.
৪০যদা, "তে নযনৈ ৰ্ন পশ্যন্তি বুদ্ধিভিশ্চ ন বুধ্যন্তে তৈ ৰ্মনঃসু পৰিৱৰ্ত্তিতেষু চ তানহং যথা স্ৱস্থান্ ন কৰোমি তথা স তেষাং লোচনান্যন্ধানি কৃৎৱা তেষামন্তঃকৰণানি গাঢানি কৰিষ্যতি| "
41 Isaiah said these things because he saw his glory, and spoke of him.
৪১যিশযিযো যদা যীশো ৰ্মহিমানং ৱিলোক্য তস্মিন্ কথামকথযৎ তদা ভৱিষ্যদ্ৱাক্যম্ ঈদৃশং প্ৰকাশযৎ|
42 Nevertheless even of the rulers many believed in him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess it, so that they would not be put out of the synagogue,
৪২তথাপ্যধিপতিনাং বহৱস্তস্মিন্ প্ৰত্যাযন্| কিন্তু ফিৰূশিনস্তান্ ভজনগৃহাদ্ দূৰীকুৰ্ৱ্ৱন্তীতি ভযাৎ তে তং ন স্ৱীকৃতৱন্তঃ|
43 for they loved praise from people more than praise from God.
৪৩যত ঈশ্ৱৰস্য প্ৰশংসাতো মানৱানাং প্ৰশংসাযাং তেঽপ্ৰিযন্ত|
44 Then Jesus shouted out and said, "Whoever believes in me, believes not in me, but in him who sent me.
৪৪তদা যীশুৰুচ্চৈঃকাৰম্ অকথযদ্ যো জনো মযি ৱিশ্ৱসিতি স কেৱলে মযি ৱিশ্ৱসিতীতি ন, স মৎপ্ৰেৰকেঽপি ৱিশ্ৱসিতি|
45 And he who sees me sees him who sent me.
৪৫যো জনো মাং পশ্যতি স মৎপ্ৰেৰকমপি পশ্যতি|
46 I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in me may not remain in the darkness.
৪৬যো জনো মাং প্ৰত্যেতি স যথান্ধকাৰে ন তিষ্ঠতি তদৰ্থম্ অহং জ্যোতিঃস্ৱৰূপো ভূৎৱা জগত্যস্মিন্ অৱতীৰ্ণৱান্|
47 And if anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him. For I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
৪৭মম কথাং শ্ৰুৎৱা যদি কশ্চিন্ ন ৱিশ্ৱসিতি তৰ্হি তমহং দোষিণং ন কৰোমি, যতো হেতো ৰ্জগতো জনানাং দোষান্ নিশ্চিতান্ কৰ্ত্তুং নাগত্য তান্ পৰিচাতুম্ আগতোস্মি|
48 He who rejects me, and does not accept my words, has one who judges him. The word that I spoke will judge him on the last day.
৪৮যঃ কশ্চিন্ মাং ন শ্ৰদ্ধায মম কথং ন গৃহ্লাতি, অন্যস্তং দোষিণং কৰিষ্যতি ৱস্তুতস্তু যাং কথামহম্ অচকথং সা কথা চৰমেঽন্হি তং দোষিণং কৰিষ্যতি|
49 For I spoke not from myself, but the Father who sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
৪৯যতো হেতোৰহং স্ৱতঃ কিমপি ন কথযামি, কিং কিং মযা কথযিতৱ্যং কিং সমুপদেষ্টৱ্যঞ্চ ইতি মৎপ্ৰেৰযিতা পিতা মামাজ্ঞাপযৎ|
