< Job 20 >
1 Then Zophar the Naamathite answered,
Aa le hoe ty natoi’ i Tsofare nte-Naamate:
2 "Therefore do my thoughts give answer to me, even by reason of my haste that is in me.
Mañetsek’ ahy hanao o fitsakoreakoo, naho tokoen-draha ty am-pisafoañ’ ao.
3 I have heard the reproof which puts me to shame. The spirit of my understanding answers me.
Fa tsinanoko i endake fañinjeañ’ ahiy, fe manoiñe ahy ty arofo tsy takam-pahilàlako.
4 Do you not know this from old time, since humankind was placed on earth,
Tsy fohi’o hao boake haehae zay, hirik ami’ty nampipohañe ondaty an-tane atoy?
5 that the triumphing of the wicked is short, the joy of the godless but for a moment?
T’ie anianik’ avao ty hafalea’ o tsereheñeo, mihelañe ty firebeha’ ty tsy aman-Kàke.
6 Though his height mount up to the heavens, and his head reach to the clouds,
Ndra te mitakatse andikerañe eñe ty fitoabora’e, naho mioza rahoñe i añambone’ey,
7 yet he shall perish forever like his own dung. Those who have seen him shall say, 'Where is he?'
mbe hihomake manahake o fiamonto’eo kitro-katroke; hanao ty hoe o mpahatrea’ azeo: Aia re?
8 He shall fly away as a dream, and shall not be found. Yes, he shall be chased away like a vision of the night.
Himosaoñe hoe nofy re, tsy ho isake ka, hasiotse hoe aroñaron-kaleñe.
9 The eye which saw him shall see him no more, neither shall his place any more see him.
Tsy ho isa’ ty fihaino nahaoniñe aze; tsy hahatrea aze ka i akiba’ey.
10 His children shall seek the favor of the poor. His hands shall give back his wealth.
Mipay tretre amo rarakeo o ana’eo; le soloem-pità’e o vara’eo.
11 His bones are full of his youth, but youth shall lie down with him in the dust.
Lifotse ty havitrihan-katora’e o taola’eo, fe hitrao fidok’ ama’e an-debok’ ao.
12 "Though wickedness is sweet in his mouth, though he hide it under his tongue,
Ndra te mamy am-palie’e ao ty halò-tsere’e vaho aeta’e ambane famele’e ao,
13 though he spare it, and will not let it go, but keep it still within his mouth;
ndra te tea’e, tsy foe’e, tambozore’e am-palie’e ao,
14 yet his food in his bowels is turned. It is cobra venom within him.
le hiova hafaitse am-pisafoa’e ao o mahakama’eo; hoe vorehe’ o mereñeo ty ao.
15 He has swallowed down riches, and he shall vomit them up again. God will cast them out of his belly.
Agedra’e o varao fe haloa’e; ampañiliñan’ Añahare boak’ am-pisafoa’e ao.
16 He shall suck cobra venom. The viper's tongue shall kill him.
Sihe’e ty vorem-pañàneñe; avetra’ ty fitsipom-pandrefeala.
17 He shall not look at the rivers, the flowing streams of honey and butter.
Tsy ho sambae’e o torahañeo, o saka midoandoan-tantele naho hendron-drononoo.
18 That for which he labored he shall restore, and shall not swallow it down. According to the substance that he has gotten, he shall not rejoice.
Havaha’e i nifanehafa’ey, fa tsy hatele’e; i vara niazo’e an-takinakey tsy hahafale aze,
19 For he has oppressed and forsaken the poor. He has violently taken away a house, and he shall not build it up.
Amy te finorekeke’e o rarakeo vaho nado’e ho poie’e; nitavane’e ty anjomba tsy rinanji’e.
20 "Because he knew no quietness within him, he shall not save anything of that in which he delights.
Ty amy tsy fipendreñañe an-tro’e ao, tsy apo’ i fihaña’e te eo ty himolaotse ama’e.
21 There was nothing left that he did not devour, therefore his prosperity shall not endure.
Po-draha sisa hagodrañe; toly ndra hihelañe añe ty firaorao’e.
22 In the fullness of his sufficiency, distress shall overtake him. The hand of everyone who is in misery shall come on him.
Ami’ty haliforan-kavokara’e ty hanjoa’e fanjirañe; fonga atreatre’e ze fità’ o misotrio.
23 When he is about to fill his belly, he will cast the fierceness of his wrath on him. It will rain on him while he is eating.
Ie boboke ty fisafoa’e le hafetsa’e ama’e ty fiforoforoan-kaviñera’e, hakojojoa’e ama’e t’ie mihinañe.
24 He shall flee from the iron weapon. The bronze arrow shall strike him through.
Ndra te hivoratsaha’e ty fialiam-bý, hampitrofak’ aze ty fale torisìke.
25 He draws it forth, and it comes out of his body. Yes, the glittering point comes out of his liver. Terrors are on him.
Sitoneñe, le miakatse an-dambosi’e, i masioñe milimolimotsey boak’ añ’afero’e ao; vaho vovoem-pirevendreveñañe.
26 All darkness is laid up for his treasures. An unfanned fire shall devour him. It shall consume that which is left in his tent.
Fimoromoroñañe ty vandroñeñe ho amo vara’eo. Afo tsy rarafeñe ty hamorototo aze vaho hangotomomoke ty honka’e añ’akiba’e ao.
27 The heavens shall reveal his iniquity. The earth shall rise up against him.
Ho borahe’ o likerañeo o hakeo’eo; hitroatse hiatreatrea’ ty tane toy.
28 The increase of his house shall depart. They shall rush away in the day of his wrath.
Ho kopaheñe ty vokatse an-kivoho’e ao, ie hasoik’ añe amy andron-kaviñera’ey.
29 This is the portion of a wicked man from God, the heritage appointed to him by God."
Izay ty toly havalen’ Añahare amy lo-tserekey, ty ampandovaen’ Añahare aze.
